It was great and convenient at first. Much fastrt and no glitches like the computer. But after it saved my progress, I just went back into the app and I have to start all over again! Very frustrating.
finished all 5 of the exams and right after it logged me out and the entire app didn't even work. every time I tried to use it, it would just have a blue screen. all my info was not saved or anything. had to start everything over on the computer. horrible app.
Do not use this app for official certification. I completed the certification on the required date, and the drop box link it sends to download does not work. The only option to regain a cert is to have a copy rewritten dated post fact issued, which interferes with proof of completion deadlines. When offered to send to FLTTMPS, following the directions does not actually reflect your completion in there. If this problem is resolved, I'lll update my review to reflect so. Study material only.
Don't waste your time. I completed the course on the app only to receive a certificate with no score on it and then found there is no point of contact to fix the problem. Had to retake the entire course on Navy E-learning for it to be validated. The navy needs to delete this app.
Don't take the exams through the app just go to navy e-learning. The email it sent with the certificate is in an unreadable .erg format. It also didn't send NSIPS, e-learning, or Fltmps any confirmation. Then the app updated and cleared my progress so I have to do it all over again. Not worth.
You would assume a tab called "Eligibility Study Materials" in an app designed for mobile use would have actual study materials. Surprise! It doesn't. There are just links to a bibliography PDF and some PDFs describing the pmk-ee system. The bibliography doesn't even link to the resource. Every link is just too the BOL NPC homepage where you then have to search for the actual document. Man. How convenient on a tiny phone screen with limited network access.
Beyond lazy, and useless tool for advancement. Doesn't have any content, just the list of what to study. The same list you can pull from the internet without the app. If it had the material embedded this would be a powerful app.
Don't use the app. It gliched after I passed all the tests and completely erased all of my progress. Additionally, the app does not show the correct answer to the questions you get wrong. The computer version does. DO NOT USE THE APP. USE THE COMPUTER.
Just one more way leaderahip fails Sailors. I am completely lost for words. There is no way to fully describe how upset I am that i wasted time that i could have spent with my family. I completed everything and then a glitch to storage that one would think would be the most important part of programing in an app the involves Sailors advancement opportunity, and everything is gone. I'm ashamed that my tax money and others was used to create this terrible app.
100% unusable. The app crashes every time I try to open it. I can't even get past the intro screen. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and rebooting my phone with no success.
It's disappointing that this app does not have any of the necessary pdfs needed for actual study. All it is is just a list of links where more than half don't provide any way to access the material. It's about as useful as the e-learning study guide.
It does not retain exam completion information. Iit says I passed the course but then it tells me that it's not able to record my course information and that I have to restart all over again. This was the 2nd time the app has done this to me. First time DENow I'm very behind to completing on the due date - January 31st. I'm not very happy. I also tried Navy E-earning that continued to freeze the program prevented from working each time as well. I sent my complaint to you before no response.
It worked fine at first, half way through my progress every time I open it it's just completely blank. That's navy grade IT quality for you, just like everything else in the DoD.
In classic navy fashion, the app they made for our use wont even open or load for me. have deleted and reinstalled several times, used data and wifi. simply wont open. Hooyah.
garbage. 0/10. barely loads half the time. only slightly better than the one on Navy e-learning. Don't know who met with the good-idea fairy on this one. But USN should consider putting PMK back into advancement exams. On the upside, if it does load, you can do PMK anywhere.
The app basically refuses to even open even months out from the actual eligibility period. I tried downloading it again last minute and it still has the same error. This is absolutely bs.
like everything the navy does revolving technology and the internet....poor quality, poor development, skimping where it counts. with a dod budget the size of mars you would think hiring a top of the line developer wouldn't be too complicated.
Doesn't work for Google Pixel 2XL anymore? I have been getting "Bad request" error since last month. Previously, I was 3/4 the way through and trying to finish the end, and now I have to restart completely using the website
The app works perfectly, had no issues other then the urge to watch Netflix. The app was conducive with me having to be on watch and limited on time.
I finished all the sections and I try to get to my certificate and the app keeps saying I haven't finished one of the exams when I have all of them passed with 80% or higher.
Didnt have any issues with the app. Got all my stuff done in a couple days and sent my email the certificate. Saved a lot of time not using the ship internet.
Upon completion of my third passing E-7 eligibility exam, the application glitched and closed by itself. Then when I reopened it I had lost all progress. Extremely frustrating.
App does not display finished cert of final course and does not remember once completed. Not even a month later and my completed course is gone from the app.
Designed well and easy navigation. I have not gone into the exam to see how well it functions on a phone but overall a good job.
If I could give zero stars I would. DO NOT DO MOBILE VERSION. the certificate is a useless .idk file that you can get some poorly coded text out of with some effort. Odds are, your command won't accept this as proof of completion, so prepare to get bent.
Good for practice but it doesn't show you the correct answer and so far everytime ive passed a test the app shuts on its own and the passed test isnt saved.
the app does not follow through with updating any system. I completed my pmk TWICE just for it to reset with no certificate or record of completion.
Can't even download the updates to start the app. Get bad load error every time regardless of connection speed
After the app updated it deleted everything I had completed. It seems like the Navy just keeps getting further into mental retardation every year.
Completed PMK course ware and attempted to send certificate to myself. The first attempt ended in with an email containing several lines of code. I tried again and saved it to my gmail. That was the only way it would save as a readable pdf file. Problem is it doesn't remember actual completion date, it uses current date. Since the app has you enter dod id it should be able to save actual date.
