You don't need to be a mobile banking or internet banking user to register for this app.
Any Retail customer of PNB, with mobile number registered with us can use this app to view their account statement.
Features:
1. M-Pin based login, so that you don't have to remember long username and passwords.
2. You can view mini statement and detailed statement of your account.
3. You can download and save detailed statements in your device.
4. You can email detailed statement to your registered account directly from the app.
** You need your 9 character customer id to register for this app. It can be found on your printed passbook as well as on internet banking (Personal Settings -> View Personal Details -> Primary Customer Id)
** This app is only for our retail users.
** Savings, Current, Overdraft, Recurring accounts can be viewed through this app.
** Report any issues related to PNB mPassBook to [email protected]
** Android 5.1 and above supported.

I was using this app for a long period, but suddenly a week back, at morning, i was getting a message like "Your device is rooted. This application cannot run on rooted device." while i am trying to login to the app. I haven't rooted my phone since i purchased it. The app was running without any problem till that day, i dont know what's the reason why all of a sudden, it happend!. I am not able to use it now.
Felt very disappointed with this new update. I can't even open the app now. whenever I open the app it shows that the app does not work on root phone. After all my was is not even rooted but still then there got an issue. Please resolve this issue then I will rate 5 stars.
"Your device is rooted. This app will not work on a rooted device " This is the error showing after app opening. My phone isn't rooted. I am unable to check my transactions. Reinstalled the app, restarted the phone but same error. KINDLY FIX THIS PROBLEM ASAP ! NOKIA 6.1, ANDROID 10.
I had been using this app since long & it was working properly. But since last 2 weeks it shows error as YOUR DEVICE IS ROOTED, CAN'T RUN THIS APP ON ROOTED DEVICE. Whereas I have never rooted my device since I purchased it. This problem is to be looked into by the technical team & rectified ASAP. Not only me, there are many more people who R facing the same problem. I m using the phone REDMI NOTE 7 PRO.

Many times app show an error & unable to open (around 50 trys it work only 1 time) Very poor experience. Know my phone wasn't rooted but it show the message that this app was unable to run on rooted device.
When I try to open it. It shows error - "Your device has been rooted. This app doesn't work om rooted devices". My device isn't rooted still it shows this error. Don't no why. Please resolve it.
The dash app...99% of the time its server is down. And it says connectivity issues even when my youtube and playstore works fine. Worst app, better to remove it from playstore... If it couldn open, then whats the use of having this app in for a Banking Sector. Useless PNB service... Now recently it says invalid customer Id.

There is something is wrong in this app.. my phone is not rooted but this app will not run.. properly tell my phone was rooted. I checked my phone carefully there is no any root Other aap run smoothly .. bt this aap was not why?? Please fix the bug ..
App is running good but please provide multiple account switching for Entire family. Every person including children do not have seperate mobile nos. Its irritating to download and delete the app again and again for looking a/c balance of other family members a/c.
Worst experience, after latest update I am getting your device is rooted error while opening the app but my device is not rooted please fix this bug and also need some UI changes
Worst app.. after update it is showing Error ' your device is rooted. This application can't run on rooted device', Where i have never rooted my device.
It was working absolutely fine from last two three years but i don't know what happen to this app suddenly every time when i am enter Mpin it shows error of "no data found for this request" please resolve this problem
Third class app...App proper does not work.show me the message that this device is rooted, app does not work in rooted phone. But some days before this app run this phone.presently not work in this device..
My device is not Rooted and app was working properly but from last few weeks its not working. It shows that your device is rooted. But my device is normal not rooted.
Not an useful app. Money transfer ,create FD options are not available in the app. Only rating option was available so I have given rate. 0 star from my side to development team and advisor.
After latest update of 10th May, During use of app, message ' device is rooted' being displayed repeatedly but as per system report device is not rooted. Concerned Cell to settle the issue.

Unexpected! An error shows "Your Device is Rooted" Why so? Other Banking apps are running well on my device but the PNB mPassbook is showing the error. Kindoy splve the error.
This is just a worst app. I face error when i try to open this and this irritate me alot. I needed to check my bank balance but it didn't work 😔 so please no body install this. Thankyou
Shows a message that your device is rooted and this application can not run on rooted device. Clearly my device is not rooted. Fix this issue asap.
This app is really slow and keeps on popping up unusual messages like: Your device is rooted. (Although it's not) Couldn't connect to server. Unable to establish a secure connection. And many more!
