Constantly get error messages when I try to login or view my balance. It's happening daily, sometimes multiple times daily, and at no particular times. Also, it makes me do a text verification every single time I sign in, which gets very annoying, especially when I'm in a hurry. This is all relatively new and prior to the last few months I never experienced any problems. If the app was functioning correctly I would give it five stars.

App is constantly down for maintenance, basic features like my transaction history are almost always "temporarily not available." The app is slow, and often confusing. If I weren't stuck with this bank, I would have never gone with PNC. If I have to say something nice, I love the savings goals feature that lets you set money into different pools to use for specific purchases.

CHROME FIX: Like many others, it suddenly stopped working one day. Just a white screen on startup, sometimes with a PNC logo. Clearing cache, storage, reinstalling, and rebooting did not fix ... But for whatever reason, *setting Chrome as your default browser does fix it*, at least for me. It worked for a while even with another browser as my default before it broke, so I'm clueless as to why I needed to make the change. I hate Chrome - this isn't a good solution, but at least I have access.

For the past several weeks I've had an error within the app that says "your free balance and scheduled out are unavailable right now" I haven't been able to use many basic functions as a result. I've cleared app cache, cleared app data, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and restarted my phone, in between. I contacted PNC support and they were not able to help. I've spoken with others who have the same problem as I do. The app is broken and PNC doesn't seem too concerned about fixing it.

The app has (in certain cases) not reflected the amount of money I have in my account. This has led me to pay money that I think I have but do not. Specifically this issue comes up with making payments online on Amazon purchases. There was a point at which there was a difference of nearly 250 dollars that didn't disappear from my account, then partially disappeared then returned and then roughly a week later fully disappeared. Otherwise the app has been cleanly designed and useful for payments.

For those having problems with the app, you need to have chrome set as your default browser. Not sure why, I had to turn mine back on and switch my default browser from DDG back to chrome. Definitely not thrilled about that. But as soon as I did it the app worked again. I shut it off - it stopped working. Never had this issue before as I do not want or use Google Chrome.

I've used this app for several years, but it's stopped working. I only see a white screen. I've reinstalled the app several times over the last week to no avail. I find it concerning that a banking institution with all my sensitive financial information can't fix this problem...or even find a way to communicate to users that they're working on the issue. Tellers at my branch are clueless about the issue, although many in line are there for this reason. Please fix!!

Edited review. Application is much to be desired. Kicks me off. Passwords don't work, even after having reset them (four times, today alone) and carefully applying them. If there's a setting that needs to be had with Android OS, then you're developing this incorrectly, plus there's no error messages. Not well thought out, eh?

Constantly down for maintenance. Zelle's PIN entry needs fixed. Not very intuitive. Zelle locks you out after one failed-ATM-PIN attempt. Should be at least three attempts and should tell you the PIN is incorrect after the first and second attempts, not straight-up lock you out! Also, should be possible to connect and transfer to/from external accounts, not just internal ones, through the mobile app.

Terrible. I used to be able to deposit mobile checks so easily because I don't live near a branch ATM. The app constantly crashes whenever I try to deposit now, which means I have to go out of my way to deposit or wait several days before I can make it in person. Really frustrating, it crashes more often than it works and makes me want to switch to a different bank with better app UX for this inconvenience around check deposits.

I can check balance and send or request with Zelle but the last few weeks, I have not been able to make mobile deposits. It continually happens, I get an error message. No matter the lighting, background, or how many times I attempt. Never had this issue. I updated thinking that was the problem, but it's not. It's something with PNC. Please fix! Major inconvenience trying to get check deposited asap. I will update my review if this problem gets resolved.

Look, I came from BBVA Compass. That app was solid, I got notifications ANYTIME they were going to do maintenance, this app doesn't do that. Half the stuff doesn't work for me, and I've always kept the app updated. It's confusing how to get your account and routing numbers. I've been prompted at least ten times to get a "one time mobile code" to confirm it's my account. I've had to call for account amounts more than I've been able to use the app. I'm frustrated with this app.

The app kicked me out last month because of a password issue. I attempted to reset the password, but that didn't work. Called customer service. They were nice, but weren't able to reset the app password or get me access to it. They just told me how to access account online. Despite uninstalling and re-installing the app, I haven't been able to get back in. Had this account with Simple and opened it in 2016, will have to find another bank now which I didn't really want to do...

Second time rating as my 1st one magically disappeared. The app has not worked in over a week with a white screen upon clicking it and freezing up my entire phone. I cannot even get to the login. The email for the app for issues has yet to respond. I never had a problem until now and I'm truly disappointed with the lack of response

This app is terrible. Somehow my stored information is wrong, I change the password and I still can't login. External transfers from the app take twice as long to process and execute than simply writing a check and cashing it at the other institution. The only good feature of this app is the Zelle integration, but if you can't login, then what's the point?

I get the app is organized so i can typically find everything, the issue is just maintenance at random. Now however i cant see my balance. And I'm not sure when it did that. Please stop updating so much. There weren't many issues that actually caused problems aside from being annoying. No matter what bank there always seems to be an issue though.

App not showing balance and transactions. I've been trying to look at my balance details for the past 2 months or so and had no luck. I just can't look at it. Evertime I try to, it keeps saying I'm not able to view it right now. At this point, this app I is almost useless since I can't do something as simple as looking at my balance and transactions. I use this app. To deposit my checks into my account. For that, it works great! Haven't used other features yet. Update: It would be great if ANY of the payee information could be edited in the bill pay. In particular, I wanted to enter the bill number but the only option is for an account #. When I enter the bill # in the account space it shows up, but if I try to edit it the next time, it won't allow that so I have to delete the payee info. and re-enter it just to update the bill (acct) #.

The app is very disappointing and not intuitive in the least. It doesn't allow for all transactions to display through pop-up notifications. There is also no smart budgeting. For example, Simple pooled set amounts into categories on dates chosen by the user. You'd set $150 for phone bill and the frequency and amounts to transfer into this spending category. The best bank service I've used thus far was Simple, which was acquired by BBVB, whom PNC acquired. Then PNC decided this 🗑 app was better.

I can't check my balance or transaction history. It's been showing error message "free balance and scheduled out are unavailable right now" and this has been going on for about a month. I can only view my banking details and transactions when I log on using the regular browser or from a pc. What is the use of having a mobile app if it doesn't do what it's intended to do. Really considering canceling my account and finding another bank.

Absolutely horrible. Every time I try to use the mobile deposit, take the second picture of the back of the check the app crashes and closes. I have to log back in and there's no record of it anywhere. For a business this is absolutely horrible that I cannot deposit a check remotely. They closed the three branches closest to my house so now I have to drive a half an hour to deposit a check.

This app is fantastic when it works. Unfortunately that's only about half the time. I'm frequently getting messages that one service or another is temporarily unavailable, and sometimes I'm unable to look at recent transactions because they're not "recent" enough. It's irritating.

Nothing like having to uninstall and reinstall this app every time I need to check my balance because the app just freezes up on the initial loading screen. This has been going on for two weeks now. I never had these issues with the BBVA app, PNC has really dropped the ball on more then one occasion with mobile banking since the take over...

Down from 3 stars to 1. Mobile deposits are still a horrible experience. The front of the check will scan, but there are constantly errors with scanning the back. I always have to redo the entire process at least a dozen times before it finally sees the endorsement.

The app performs as expected, when it wants... PNC has been THE bank for me living in the Pittsburgh region and spending most of my time on the East Coast. However, the app receives updates which always cause issues. Whether those issues are UI related or most recently as of this week - the app won't transition from what seems to be a splash screen. I cleared cache and went as far as reinstalling the app. Neither option worked to resolve my issue. Please provide an update.

Absolutely horrible. Ever since my account was switched to this bank I have had issues and it is starting to seriously affect my livelihood. They canceled my debit card with no notice, I never got the new, had to order a second one, finally got it but still haven't gotten my new pin number so i still can't access my money for over two weeks. Now the mobile app is not working either so i can't transfer money to another account. Customer service is a joke and I just want to transfer my account.
