PNC SmartAccess® Card

My experience with this app hasn't been that great. When I first got the app it worked great for a while, but then it started giving me problems not allowing me to log in. I just changed my password for the 5th time and after changing it I try to login and it wouldn't let me. I will give it one last try. The three stars are for the past when it was working great. Now more than ever we need a bank app that's reliable with a User Friendly Interface.

I've been using this app for a few years now and I don't have any complaints about the functionality of it. I do, however, think it would be improved by a few small things to help me with money management, building credit, applying for small personal loans and payday loans, and applying for small business loans for startups!

I love, love the app! Easy to use, easy to navigate. I love how I can suspend the card if it's lost, stolen, or I don't want anyone using it without my permission. Great customer service as well. They will help and assist you in every way possible if you get stuck or need assistance. I can see transactions coming in and out, I can set up phone alerts for my cell or email, and I love how I can have it at the tips of my fingers when I need it. THANK YOU PNC BANK!!!

Literally the only think I like about this app is the fact I can see how much I have in the bank. Other than that it's super buggy, I keep enabling the finger print scanner and it keeps shutting itself off then constantly making me sign back in, not loading and the weirdest thing. If I leave the app open and go to a different app, the damn PNC app will just pop up.

PNC smart Access is not smart at all. I have called for the last 2 weeks have talked to a handful of people all of which have not helped me access my account. I chose this account because it was convenient since there is an actual bank associated with it and not just online. I have been unable to access my account it has been escalated and I've talked to numerous supervisors and no results still I went into the bank to deposit a check and they will not do it because its through smart access. I'm over it! I had better service overseas through an online bank only! What a huge disappointment.

Not sure what the issue is but I haven't been able to sign up, on this app, I've uninstalled and reinstalled , with no progress. It's annoying not being able to check my everyday spending. Changing banks!! On going issue for almost 3 months!!

I had to delete the app bc it just wouldn't let me log on at all! Just kept saying that the username or password was incorrect! Which it wasn't at all incorrect bc I could go right online & sign right in from there! It would be nice if there was an app that actually did work for Smart access accounts😡

Everytime I try to access the app it errors out and says the app keeps stopping..... 3 weeks later and I still can't get into the app to check my balance. I guess it's time to close the account and go with a different bank with apps that actually work.

I've been using SmartAccess for going on 5 years now. Its nice if your someone like me and cant get an actual account somewhere. The biggest downfall i have come across is not being able to deposit checks. You can direct deposit but your not able to take a check inside or deposit through the ATM. Cash deposits only. When i first got the card i was told if i had a year of consistant deposits and no issues they would let me open a checking account but only be issued checks as needed. Never happend

I hate that I can't view all my transactions. It only ever shows the most recent few transactions but I always end up not using the app anyway and going to the actual website because I need to be able to view ALL my transactions! Would be soo much better if I could just do/see all that in the app! I will probably just uninstall this app anyway because it's not useful to me since I end up having to go to the website anyway.

I love this app, because it allows me to manage my PNC Smart Access account. The PNC Smart Access banking app is a key part any of PNC's Smart Access account holder's banking account. I know that most Smart Access account information can be monitored by calling the customer service number on the back of each card. I will be collecting a list of the account details that are available about Smart Access accounts via phone call, text message, email, mail, and Android app. I'll post the link.

Is there to vote less than one star ⭐, I would, about -7 or so. It states that I cannot use it on a brand new smart phone, saying it is not compatible with my smartphone device, which is impossible. HHO in Miami Florida.....and darn thing about it is, all I want to do is photo my checks into my account....uuughhhhh!!

Another update7/4/21.. still does not work for me.. 3/29/21Update.. its been over 3 years and this app still doesn't work.. wow great job.. App stopped working.. It just keeps saying unable to process your request at this time try again.. I delete it and reinstall and still nothing and it's been weeks and still says the same thing.. Please fix it. Update still does not work and this was more than a year later.

I absolutely HATE this app. You go and log in to check your balance or transactions, but when it opens, none of your information shows up. It will show your card but no balance and no tranactions. So when you really need to know your balance..you will have to call and speak to Ai. Uggghhh! So annoying!!

Great app. It would be nice to have push notifications receipts when making transactions rather than it send a text msg. I like the sms notifications, but it adds my remaining balance which creates privacy concerns.

At the beginning, when i hit 'Let's Get Started' to enroll app, it's keep going back and open the same page. Right now I can't follow my transactions because of an irritating app. I wish i had never open an account with PNC Bank. Fix this !!!!!!

So far my experience with this app has been outstanding I've had it going on almost 5 years now. The only thing that I don't like or that could use improvement is the fact that your transaction history only goes back so far.

App needs to be updated. There are numerous people who cannot log in when using correct username and password. Worked well until about 3 weeks ago. Contacted PNC customer care and they said my account is fine and not blocked. Please fix the bugs in the app so we can log in and quit stressing over this issue.

Definitely a different type of service and treatment. PNC virtual wallet and application has very little hiccups! Why is that the prepaid side can't get a decent functioning application that works. Don't invest the coin on one side then not do the same for the other. Pathetic and ridiculous.

Can't even get signed in. Put in user name and password and it tells me it's wrong. Try to set up app account and it just keep going back to the main screen. U need to fix this issue or ur going to lose alot of business.

I have really enjoyed this app app every since the beginning. I've never had any problems with it at all. It's been smooth sailing account the broad.

App needs to be updated with Android 10 compatibility. In it's current state, App forced closed as soon as it's tapped to be opened. Can be reproduced each time.

Does not work. "Let's get Started". Only redirects me back to the original page. I must have tried to login a dozen times before I gave up with the errors. Invalid password or username, can't connect to whatever it needs to log me in, all that. Disappointed.

Customer service will not email me back. A teller at the bank didn't know how to deposit on my card and I have tried to email customer service multiple times with no response. The app stopped working so unless i go to an atm i cannot check my transaction or amount of money in my account. When i went to the bank i deposited money and came to find out the teller that did not know how to use the Smart Access card screwed up and now im out $180. If my app was working i could've checked before i left

This card is some b.s because even though its for people who are at risk for checking accounts im sure but you cant even use it for money transfers in the app and you cant even use it with the cash app like i was told you could and my son sent me money on the cash app and i had put this sebit card in there app and i couldnt get my money cause this card cabt be used and its my only way of being able to receive money from my kids and im just gonna close the account

the app doesn't work anymore it keeps saying security problems try again amd it's been saying that for about a week and I changed my password because I thought that would help but nothing still... very poor app and there's not much you can do on it.. please atleast fix the signing in.. THIS APP IS NO LONGER USABLE...

Since zero stars isn't an option. App no longer allows me to sign in claiming "bad username or password". Funny, it works on the website 🤔🤔🤔 Uninstall and reinstall used to fix this glitch, but it no longer works at all. Fix your problems. People do not have patience when it concerns their money.
