Lovely videos! My children love it BUT the pop up advertising that's been happening in the last few days has made the app completely unusable and at the most important time to be using it. I'm very annoyed and disappointed! I can't create any new videos because the pop-up keeps resetting my page.
Didn't work. Have used for years so what's changed? We have used this app for years as our children have grown older. Tried to create a teenage message to see if we could still have fun with this, but despite completing all the fields in the form, an error was returned stating we had missed something. Not good enough. Debug your app otherwise people like me won't come back and pay for content.
Terrible this year! We have used PNP for the past five years and have loved it, but whatever updates have gone through have made the app stop working this year. I've tried the help feature and done all that they've suggested but nothing fixes it. Of course I paid for a 10-year plan, and my poor kids are begging for their Santa videos. The chat-bot help feature is beyond useless, and the links it provides do not open. I'm frustrated and disappointed and will continue to pursue a refund.
Worked so well last year so again I paid for the premium package. Now the videos, calls ect it won't finish creating them. The videos say at estimated 8 minutes and the video calls stop at 98% I feel horrible since my daughter keeps asking why Santa isn't calling her & it's frustrating because we paid for all the bells & whistles and can't even use it. Honestly pretty mad at this point. I restarted my phone, cleared caches, Uninstaller & reinstalled the app & NOTHING.
Very poor app. Paid the 10.99 last week for the magic pass to be able to get multiple videos, paid via the app and when I go into Google play it shows my subscription as active but the app says I have no active subscription. Taken the money from my account already. Tried emailing support team, uninstalling/reinstalling - the support team are useless and provide no helpful information at all. My kids are so disappointed.
Was great. I bought platinum for a year and was planning on keeping it as my youngest is three. However, it's difficult to navigate now and it shows that I've never paid. Very disappointing. I'm not sure if it's worth correcting and for the hassle, I'm not sure if I'll ever renew.
I usually purchase a video and you used to be able to watch it through out the year and you can't watch them over and over now but can still see them in your videos page.i don't mind paying but if we have a limited time to watch then I probably won't do it again.Which is a shame because it's so magical. Also tried to do a free one this yr for my niece and it's dissapeared.when you try to do anything else the Santa box comes up to take u 2 the premium video making it difficult to do anything
Last year I paid for unlimited HD downloads. Now it is trying to make me buy it again, despite the purchase showing in my account. I emailed support with screenshots to prove it and was asked to try numerous things which didn't work, now my emails are all being ignored.
Create your free video. As soon as I click to create "Your free trial has ended" and want me to upgrade to premium. I've never used the app, so not sure how my "free trial" has ended. Don't advertise a free video if you don't deliver.
I have an Ultimate Pass from 2018. Tried to log in this year with correct password from my password manager, but get denied access. Tried to request password reset email, but this never arrives. Not in spam/junk any other folder. Have raised call with PNP support via Zendrsk -#418729, but just receive a generic reply that does not address my problem.... So I am complaining here. What is the next option for me? It will soon be Christmas and this app will have been no use at all this year.
I saw the response to another review saying their are 4 free videos to send. I selected the free video and after entering quite a bit of personal information it says the free trial is over. Then a pop up comes up if you click create a premium video that says about a contract and from agreeing you refute your right to withdraw or something along these lines. No thanks. So disappointed my 3 year old would have loved it especially if it mentioned well done for using the potty. No Christmas spirit.
I paid for the 1 year membership. It stopped working after 3 weeks. It hasn't worked for about a month. I reached out to customer service and nothing. What's happening is silence when Santa's calls go personal, like that part of the video. Tried deleting and re requesting the videos, deleting and reinstalling the app... nothing working. It's not worth it and as a single parent buying this for Christmas meant buying one less gift. Definitely keep to the free app version vs investing in this.
I purchased the Yearly Magic Pass and now the app won't allow me to make a call or video without paying even more! I tried the chat feature and it's automated so that doesn't work either. They got my $14.99 already and now there's no way to get answers!
I am 100% that mom who will pay for an app if it means my kid will pull up her socks and do whatever it is I've asked her to do. This app is so fun and magical! My daughter truly believes she's interacting with Santa. I even created a video chat including her little friends when they were here for a play date and their reactions were just magic! I love this app. Thank you for helping us create so many wonderful memories ❤
Edit January 2022: it's happening again. "Oopsie" error pages. Why? I wanted to send a birthday greeting from Santa this month. Afterall, I paid to have a year long Magic Pass subscription so why can't I use it? OP: Paid for a full year and my yearly subscription has not expired yet, however, I no longer have access to any premium content. I paid for a "year" worth of service. Videos will not load, not even free ones, nor do any of the external links work that will lead to product support.
Not very happy we've been using this app for years & each year seems to bring more problems. I'm paying for something that is not worth it. When doing the videos & call from Santa at the end of the call the video shows Santa holding the phone with a busy signal sound playing telling the child sorry for not being able to reach them maybe next time. Imagine how confused the child will be after just getting off the phone with him??? This needs fixed!!!
The app worked fine and I didn't have issues until yesterday. I keep getting an oopsie error! For an app that I paid for, this is not worth it at all! My daughter's birthday is tomorrow and I can't even get a birthday video made for her! Very disappointing and upsetting!
Every other year I would have given this app 5 stars. The sales pitch you tack on the end of free video for kids is a disgusting example of slimy marketing. What started as a cute free video for a child from a parent, who may not have been able to afford the paid videos, is now a source of stress because the child is told there's "more interactions waiting for them on the app!" and they are begging to be able to access the rest - which is at cost to the parent. Sneaky and underhanded.
I have been using this app for years for both of my children and its always had a 5 star review from me but I have had to change it this year. It isn't working this time round, it won't connect to the server, i uave tried uninstalling it, i have paid for 1 premium video and it won't let me start select my child or create a new one. my poor lad wants to know where his email from Santa is, its very disappointing especially because this is probably going to be his last year of believing.
We typically love the app, but recently it has completely stopped working. I could not create a birthday message for my daughter because the app just will not load. I am greeted with a message saying "Oopsies, something went wrong! Please try again later". This has been my message for about a week now. Sad that I spent money on something that is turning out to be a waste this time around.
Ridiculous that you went from pretty much completely free last year to having to pay no less than $5.99 for one video the next year. I really enjoyed this app last year but not worth it now.
Been using this for 8YRS... it's awesome. My kids look forward to the messages and calls every birthday and Xmas isn't the same without it. It's a simple concept... But very well done. Easy to use... Very happy to endorse. Absolute family favourite 💖
When you download it gives an option to create a free video. You enter child's name, age, info about your child, etc. Then it asks you to create a profile. The minute you do that it says your free trial has ended and only gives you an option to get the premium (paid) version and never creates a free video.
This used to be a really good app, unfortunately it has now turned into a cash machine to exploit as much money as possible. As for your default reply I certainly dont think £34 for 2 letters and a video that I was still waiting for a link 2 months after ordering it is value for money I was in contact with you, I kept getting told "we're having a few issues, it'll be another 7 days" And as I previously said (to which you haven't responded) you no longer provide value for money, £34 1 vid 2 let
Love this app and have used it for years. Two things: let people remove old videos from the children's side without re-downloading them, and fix the videos with a big pause after Santa says one of the options. (One of the new videos is especially noticeable, and not the quality I've seen in past years audio-wise.)
