Pocket City Free

I love this game, playing for few months now. One thing I miss is that there is no terrain editor available. I have to go through lot of same repeatative terrain types of single river in middle to find something different and interesting to start a new city. Having different types of terrains means new challenges for each city and that keeps things interesting. Please add this feature. SimCity 3000 use to have a very good terrain editor.

Pro: no forced ads! Only $ paid is to update to full version so a true fee game!! So rare! Details are great zoom in & look at building/people. Cons: wish all items were available from start so you can actually plan your city. I don't like destroying city to add new things when finally released. You have to fill the whole map before most items available. Once the map is full there's not much to do but yet I still don't even have access to everything. Overall fun! Could use update but it's free

I use the paid version. logistics wise, it's like an extremely scaled down version of cities: skylines. it's quite impressive how much detail goes into a city for a mobile game, and it's what a lot of mobile City building games are missing. there is still room for improvement though. the graphics, however, are below average for a mobile city building game. the buildings are very bland and they can get very repetitive.

Great game, no ads! Surprising! The game has the greatest equilibrium between being very complex and being playable on mobile. It has real requirements compared to other city simulators, but not so many that it would become impossible to play on mobile (imagine playing Cities: Skylines on mobile). And you can really make some beautiful cities, even in the free version (code: 6vbl to see a full city).

Good Game and very fun. Has every type of resources and services that is available but maybe should add sewage and also waste management. I only have one suggestion. Please consider changing the colours a bit for the buttons. Like when you complete a quest or level up, the orange box isn't even visually appealing.

Tried, didn't like it. I got to level 12. Likes: portrait view availability, quests to keeps you busy, ok graphics and items to build. Dislikes: most of the dialogue boxes cut off the words and you can't scroll down to read more, it just skips to the next dialogue box. Some of the windows, words, and graphics do not fit within the game display. Fire and police should have an option to speed up the rescue process because even in SimCity I never lost that much progress from a fire. 10 blocks? A bit much. Especially considering "help is on the way". I also don't like the level requirements for building certain items. Sorry guys, I'm going to try out another SimCity wannabe. Game is ok, not great.

Best building game ever. No online friending requirements, no waiting, and you definitely don't need to buy anything to enjoy smooth gameplay for all the levels. In addition, there are great graphics, and fun levels and gameplay. Yes there is ads, but only minimum, not very often and only 5 seconds each. Given all the other games loaded with long ads and needs to pay real money, I can hardly believe this terrific game is free. Thank you for making such a great game!

Gameplay: 4 The game is fun at the beginning, but gets boring in the middle, when you're running out of space and have to just sit there waiting for the money. Graphics: 4¼ The silly, cartoony graphics are smooth and not a strain on the eyes. Fun: 4 The game lacks the strategy of fully fledged City building games, but makes up for it with quick, fun gameplay.

Game freezes about 10-15 min. into the game everytime. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, and also cleared up a bunch of memory to see if it would help but nothing did. I like the game a lot - it's simple and fun and is the closest thing that I can find to the classic 'sim'ulation city games that I used to play as a kid. Hopefully this bug is fixed with an update in the near future.

This game is amazing!!! I played it for hours when I first downloaded it. There are a few things that could be improved upon, however. It would be nice if the maps were larger, around level 60 I bought all the plots and ran out of things to do. More upgrades for zones and other buildings would be nice too, to add more variety. Overall, excellent game! I really appreciate the fact that there isn't any crazy wait times or in-app purchases that make similar games a drag and expensive to progress through. Would definitely recommend! I'll definitely consider purchasing the full version!

I loved it. In a week or so, my whole map was fully expanded, complete with a train system around the perimeter and a bus stop at every possible intersection. But... I can just turn on airplane mode, click the ad a few times until the offer is super high, and get an automatic injection of cash. Now that I'm so upgraded, I spent a good twenty minutes, gaining a level fairly often. There's not much to do, and disaster money tends to overcompensate to the point where I can get more money for a tornado plowing through my town 😩 Overall, it's great for something cute and low-key, but little more than that. Perfect for the casual gamer or just anyone with a little extra time.

It's a great city builder that keeps you hooked from the get-go, all the way to around level 80. After that, however, content seems to start drying up really fast. I was actually considering buying this game, but wasn't impressed with what is offered in the full version. I'd like to see more features & quests, as well as perhaps am option to connect two cities together in the full version, & maybe create some interplay/ trade between the two. No ads, though. All in all a great free experience.

Seriously, just wow. This is one of the best simulation games I've ever found available completely for free, aside from legitimately OPTIONAL ads. - - - - - My only complaint is that it is EXTREMELY graphically intense. I'm playing on a new Galaxy Note 9 which has never had any issues otherwise, and as soon as I had built a few rows of buildings or so, it started lagging and freezing up like crazy! After continuing on like this for a little longer, it had become virtually unplayable, and this was when I had just started playing! I managed to completely resolve this issue by going into the settings menu and enabling the options for '30 fps limit' and 'reduced effects' and visually found it to be no less satisfying graphically... I don't know why that was a problem to begin with though, this seems to be something that was somehow overlooked.

This is an excellent way to build a game. The free version has very little and non intrusive ads, while enabling a user to enjoy the game at its fullest. Once you cross a certain level of addiction for the game, it makes sense to buy the full version. The game itself is very well paced, at your own liesure without any obligation to act soon or keep tapping. The gameplay is not complicated at all and can be learnt by novice players as well. More than the city building game, this is an excellent approach to building and monetizing a game.

I love this game, it's so addictive and fun! One complaint though, once i was bored and had progressed very far, so i activated all three disasters at once. After they were done, and i tried to use the "rebuild all" button, the game crashed. After i reloaded, everything was still destroyed with no rebuild all button. I had to re build almost a quarter of my entire city. It's all good now, I've mostly rebuilt, i still love this game, but there are notable problems

Fun SimCity clone, but the audio gets really annoying before too long. Sometimes the sounds of the city are a little much, and for some inexplicable reason, there's something that sounds like a ghost moaning every 10 seconds that's so annoying I can't play with the sound on. I have to deduct a star just for this short 2 second clip that forces me to play without audio.

By far the best SimCity type game out there. I didn't give you 5 stars because of two things you could improve: 1. Camera rotation! I would love it if I could rotate the view. It gets annoying to play with only one angle. 2. Rotating buildings. A lot of times the entrance isn't facing the way I'd want it to. I think it's really easy to update this, and would change the experience drastically! Thank you for the game, I'm loving it! ❤️

AMAZING, but... this game is great. It has the best mechanics to build a city. I love how there's 3 zones, and buildings are upgradable. It's very satisfying to build the entire city and see it come to life. This is the BEST city building game. There's just one problem. They really want you to spend money to buy the full game, and once your done building your first city, you can restart, but you cant change the difficulty and you can't do different regions, you have to pay for it, In the end.

I really love this game, but there are some problems that I think need to be addressed. Getting water/electricity to buildings in the city is very difficult. The rules for how much power/water companies seem inconsistent. For example, I will have power/water buildings literally RIGHT NEXT TO buildings and I'll still get the pop-up on the building saying it has neither power nor water. Very frustrating

I liked this city building game at first. Then i began recieving problems. First off the standard PREMIUM stuff. Half the game is locked without buying it. Cheap though so no big deal there. Next is the graphics. At first they are great, but then its the same exact buildings everywhere. Great tutorial however! Still took me a while to get the hang of it. All in all, graphics need more variation, controls could use a little work on minor bugs, and keep up the good work! 👍

When I first got this game it was great. I even considered buying the full version. I'm glad I didn't! This games is very slow and laggs easily. Especially more the farther you get! Even if you turn down the quality, it still lags! It also has a lot of glitches! For instance, I was upgrading and remodeling my power plants because they were at 85% capacity. The game glitched and it didn't matter how many were placed, it still said I was at 93% capacity. And the reminder bar for that is very annoying! It also glitches after natural disasters and the rebuild button doesn't work. Even when you have 1mil dollars and the rebuild cost is 9k........ so my advice is dont get this app until bugs are fixed!

It is an excellent game! It is simply fun. You will get more with paid version (sandbox city, larger map, etc), but the free version was satisfying enough. In this game, you don't have to wait for hours for the building to be done (just few seconds!). In my experience, I could build anything seamlessly without running out of money or resources. The phase is not to slow, enjoyable.

I loved this game. I was so addicted to it. if you wanted more money and XP, you chose to watch ads voluntarily - which was awesome! The bad news: I hit level 56 and things started to get a little laggy. the ads actually started to freeze up my phone, or replay. the last straw was when my phone locked up completely and the only thing I could do was manually remove my phone battery. I really loved that game, but I guess it was for the best since I was putting waaayyy too much time into it.

Very solid city builder. The choice to list it as a free game and then have a paid unlock to get the real/full game is questionable, but it's more than offset by the fact that there is no microtransaction/energy/etc. garbage. My only real complaint is that it's not actually very complex at the end of the day. I wish that it had more content/options, but what they do have is very well done.

Excellent concept and execution. There are some freezing bugs (purchasing items while game is saving). The game is fun, but there's little to do after everything is maxed out and completed. To make the game last a little longer, you could add more elements such as military installations, political institutions, etc. Overall, the game has tremendous potential.

Great city building game! Probably the best free one I've come across. There's a premium version you can buy that gives you some extra features, game modes and options, but the free version actually feels like a whole game and not watered down with hardly any of the features in it that make it fun, unless you pay. I'm really happy to see the devs giving players the core of the game, with the extra goodies a paid option. Other games that have both a free and paid version hardly give you anything, unless you fork over cash. You don't really feel like you have a choice between the free and paid version, but rather, you feel forced if you want to have any real fun with the thing. Just that, in addition to it being a really fun and great game, make me want to upgrade to the premium version, which I will probably be doing shortly. -Amazing city builder and great game altogether! 10/10

A great free-to-play game, similar to the good old SimCity. It's however much easier, simpler, with less challenges and less options for micromanagement. For example you don't have to worry at all about placing residential zones too close to industry or rebuilding stuff after a disaster. It's for you if you're looking for a not too difficult and relaxing building game.
