It's okay, but when i tried to make level 2 in my game they didn't let me jump, I tried to make it work but you just can't not jump in a proper level. And when i started playing my level the gravity just went to 0. I was floating in the air for 2 seconds! And you should be able to fully animate your background but instead you have to pick one color for the WHOLE background! Please fix this whenever you can. I'll make it 5 ⭐'s

This engine is cool i like this. What better would be if you add more components like moving blocks, water and cutscene maker. And also try to remove the lag because I am trying to make like 50 levels in a game but when i created like 6 levels the game started lagging so much. Im also having another problem, in my 2d game when i try to make a different mode level like endless runner mode it actually works but when I try to make the main runner, the game kicks me out and returns to level editor.

Love this but I have one problem. So you click the green button to add an extra sprite, let's say a monster. But you only want to retexture it. But instead you have to redraw the whole thing. And that's my problem, can you add a choice if you want to redraw the whole thing or you just want to retexture it. But overall this is great. Edit: Btw can you also make it easier to get the quest NPC to take the item they need. I wanted to add a button ONLY for a specific level but appear in all. Pls fix.

Good overall app, very customizable, infinite possibilities of different gameplay, and extremely easy to learn. Only thing keeping this from five star is that the levels have an extremely low memory capacity and when you hit that capacity the rate at which the entire app processes things goes down if that one problem was fixed this would be an easy 5 star app

I had to make my top down 3 times. Each time, the app kicked me out and when I returned all of my progress was deleted. I WORKED SO HARD AND THIS HAPPENS. Please PLEASE fix this and make it so that it autosaves progress every now and then so that things like this NEVER happen. I give a 3 instead of a 1 because the app is good when it doesn't break.

So this is a super fun pocket game engine it is super quirky and it takes some time to figure out how things work! Again it is super quirky but I love it! I have a suggestion the downloadable sprites can't be saved if changed maybe if possible make it so that we can at least change the type of object the sprite is! Example if I had edited a sprite to be a wall block let me change it to a spawner, or a spawner to an enemy! Keep on keeping on I love the app!!

This is the first game developing app I used and its not that confusing, one thing is that if you switch tools, levels, etc. Its very slow and sometimes crashes but the good thing is the game I made isnt that laggy even if the memory limit passes a little. I suggest adding a list of games that you can play in the app that the community created so we can possibly learn something and have motivation to make more games.

I would give this app 5 stars, but it can't import audio. As I am quite fond of making sound effects and songs, I found this fact particularly annoying. Otherwise, this app shows quite a lot of promise. Keep up the good work and have a good day! Edit 1: Previously, I had issues with the slowness, which has been reduced greatly. Edit 2: With the release of the music editor, things are getting better. All that's missing is at least some form of either audio or midi importing.

Almost perfect! I love this, it's easy to use once you learn and has so many possibilities. There are a few things I wish it had. Like being able to paint a custom background and custom UI buttons, being able to paint the game icon within the same menu you use to select it, the ability to fill an enclosed space with a certain block, dragging the UI part instead of using a d-pad, a simpler menu to enter a project, when entering a project the option to play through it, a simpler theme Overall A+

It has potential. It's at least a year away from being usable, but it's good. There's no tutorial, but I've made a game with ZQuest before so I gave this one a shot. The user interface is confusing and barely navigable. It's missing basic menu options to the point I'm not even sure this app has all the right components to make a complete game. The controls are hard to work and lag so badly it's almost unusable. But I was able to make a Magneto game. Barely. Hopefully the app improves one day.

I have noticed a few things, most are just nitpicks, but I thought I'd share some anyway. First, there is no 8×8 sprites, which for me are rather important. Second, there is no grid, and the transparent background doesn't align properly with the placement of pixels. Third, the hitbox adjustment thingie gets stuck on the edges when it is draged beyond it. That's all I had to say really, but it's still a good game nonetheless

Probably one of the easiest to use game software I've found for Android. The inbuilt animation system is really nice, having a small tutorial pop up really helped. The editor is a bit confusing cause you can't tap to place tiles, you have to drag your finger for some reason? My biggest complaints would be.. there isn't enough options or flexibility with what you can create yet. That, and the way you add buttons to the screen is rather uncomfortable and unwieldy. I like the app, it needs work tho

This a great application, very easy to use and intuitive. I appreciate the work put into it, ads are optional. I will be donating to the patreon. One idea for a future update, if I may lend some feedback: ability to import pixel files. If there is currently that capability, it's not apparent, but I think this would make the application next-level. On another note, a full blown instruction manual if time permits.

This app is great! But there are a few things I want added or changed: 1. I wish you could use MP4 files for the sound effects, it would be really helpful! 2. It would be cool if you could add background music! My games are all too quiet! 3. This game is really laggy, even after the performance improvement! 4. It would be cool if you could use hand drawn sprites, only using pixel art is a bit limiting. 5. There's a bug with the NPC, where when I try to talk to it, the text doesn't appear!

This is just some constructive criticism. The game is great. Its my favorite one on the play store, its simpler, and has a bigger variety of things to do than most others, But it is missing a few things. The biggest thing is the ability to created cutscenes. Im working on a game called"Poultry Man", and ive been trying to make a cutscene kinda thing with invisible nps and stuff for dialog, and ive been unsuccessful. So, all in all, the app only needs small improvements.

As a person who wants to help the development of this app, I see a lot of potential. I love how simplistic it is. I will mention that a more in depth tutorial would be appreciated, I was quite lost at first, and had to experiment before I could start working on my sprites and such. My main problem right now, is that I have created my background and character sprites, animations, but cannot add them to the testing screen. I have toyed around with it, but no button seems to add it so I can test.

I am not a developer, but I think would be cool to do advanced thing here, looks like we can do only the essencial... But I am newbie. For example doing a script, or at least some options to automatically change the borders of a tile, usually a tile has 9 different stances: the top-left, top-middle, top-right and then the middle-left [...] and lastly the bottom-right. I think by doing this is a door for glitches but, could be useful to change collision of each sprite in an animation. Good luck!

Been messing around with the app, and the touch zone is slightly off to the left. Also we need more tutorials on your channel to fully understand the features in the app, coz right now all I know is editing the blocks and characters. It's got a huge potential tho, just needs more polishing. Also alot of us don't know how to code or even just the basics, so having an app like this is really great 😊

AMAZING!!! Possibly the best free videogame maker for phones I've ever seen! There's so much Costumization and choices most game makers won't let you use! But there are some cons like how when you are making a item in your game you can zoom in to draw better but I would like if you could freely zoom in where ever you want. Also when I want to go to change the color of my brush it takes a long time to get to the menu of colors. If the makers of this game are reading this plz change this.

Good idea, good concepts, very, VERY unstable. Also, very limited. You should make the game programming more open ended, and allow more creativity. Also, give some more obvious feedback when you touch a button, can't count the number of times I did something I didn't want to cause I didn't know I actually hit the button

It's really good, but I was wondering if there's a way to make an RPG, turn based fight system kind of game. Also the new update, is kinda trash. The app itself is good, but how we need coins for everything isn't fun, I get it's to make money, but maybe you could just have an ad play every time you click the green 'GO' button when you select a game.

Good so far. I love the potential and all the different things you can do, but there is one problem for me personally. The UI doesn't properly fit on my screen. There is an image across the top of my screen of a piece of the lower part of my screen and I need to touch a bit to the right of anything to actually touch it. I can do mostly everything but the repeating image at the top is very distracting when selecting tools. I'm using a samsung galaxy s10e if that matters.

Obviously not perfect (nothing really is after all) but pretty dang close! Wish there was more as far as sounds go (maybe also let us have music in our games, idk) but otherwise, very impressive! Definitely the best free game developing app I've seen! [(Quick edit to say that the ability to make a copy of a level would also be nice, but obviously isn't a big deal at all)]

hey, I just want to say I feel like this has loads of potential but atm it's got loads of bugs (which I understand due to it being beta) I'm just gonna list the bugs I found if that helps you 1. when tapping anything you have to tap a little to the right of anything you wanna tap 2. you can see the top of the screen at the bottom of the screen for some reason 3. the game sometimes not let you use the erase tool when adding sprites, it will just freeze up and not erase anything

The Text Bubbles Significantly improved! So... I like that. Texture import. And also it crashes less often. But sometimes it crashes when I use a specific tool the problem is... The tool that triggers it is.. Random. It can be the... Eyedroper button or something.. But it's mostly the copy paste frame thing and the eyedropper button... The 'new' loading screen is nice. At least it explains the long time it takes to load a level.. There's also a bug which I will 'try' to say in Discord.

I gotta rate this app 4 stars... Buttons don't work smoothly, when I'm making my own character I can't pick colors... When I'm editing my UI gets kind of laggy... And most importantly the button on the shapes... I don't think it's interactable cause I've touched it many times still can't do... But here's the good side! The game itself has a pretty graphics and also game suggestions and sound effects too. I need a feedback pls. Thx!

There's a lot of potential in this app and I'd definitely like to see it grow and improve. I've been playing sega's kid chameleon and it put me in a creative platformer mood. Athough i wish there were more powerup options on here. Also i ran into an issue with the background. I was given the impression that its possible to create and display your background on your level. But i dont see that as an option?

It's a wonderful game creator for what it is so far. My only problems so far is that characters in platformers instantly turn to the other direction when the button is held. It is really awkward and it would be better if it was a slow turn, based on deceleration and accelerarion. Otherwise, great job 😀👍

This game is great, but I have some recommendations from my experience on my first day 1. Add custom background options so I don't need to place blocks instead and cause lag 2.The exit button needs to be changed so you don't actually close a game 3.Fix players and enemies to be able to shoot each other cause they don't seem to work right now even though they should cause damage
