Pocket Lock

Great app! Almost perfect. It's a disappointment that I can't unlock the phone via fingerprint afterwards, but I can live with that seeing as it reminds me to build a better habit of locking my phone manually. Not to mention, there's no other app on the market which works as well as this one! Add a fingerprint unlock option and you'll get 5 stars from me.

The app works great overall, but the Alternate Lock Method function doesn't seem to work. It never locks the phone. Data it will take a few seconds to lock, but after several minutes nothing happens. I don't want to lose my finger print and iris unlocking. I don't like typing in my password in public, I just want my phone to stop pocket dialing and sending texts after I receive a phone call in my pocket.

This app has made pocket dialing and texting the slightest bit better, but I'm still having to use a lot of work arounds. I simply cannot eliminate pocket dialing on my Android. iPhone was never a problem. I'm still very often pulling the phone out of my pocket and it's either on the emergency dial screen or replied to the text message notification that came up on the lock screen.

I got this app to prevent my phone from unlocking in my pants pocket. It would work for a short while and then it would open the emergency call screen and start dialing. I had aggressive mode checked and had my phone upside down in my pocket. It still only worked sporadically. I have a Samsung Galaxy S20 FE.

This app seriously messed up security and screen settings, would not unlock with fingerprint, would lock phone randomly during voip calls, would lock while reading books, playing games. This would occur even when app was in standby mode. The app would not uninstall from home screen, I had to go to settings to get rid of it, and then had to reset device security settings and screen settings. A week of hell until I figured out the app was the root of it.

Looks like a nice app, works as intended, but doesn't function as I hoped. Need something to block fingerprint sensor only while in pocket on Pixel 2 XL, has annoying issue of constantly waking in pocket because the sensor is too sensitive.

It does not work as it claims to be! My phone stills dials & redials numbers in my calling record. In addition, this app has not been updated since April 2018. And now, when I reinstalled this app, there is a notification message that said "it will not work with newer Android systems." Are the Developers continuing to ignore their customers? When is this app going to be UPDATED?!!!

I did not understand the options...... the options to lock and unlock the phone are not clear..... neither the meaning of the times that each one has........ very confusing explanations........ maybe the app works well..... but I don't know...... a tutorial / testmode would be useful to understand how the app work .....

I hated the way this stupid app went to the lock screen any time I held the phone away from me. I would try to hold the phone out for a code to be scanned and the screen would go off. Same thing if I held my phone out for someone to see something. It stopped me from pocket dialing but can't stand the side effects.

Yeah, unfortunately it works about 30% of the time, so you can't rely on it. Also, it doesn't really lock the screen immediately, but dims it and then locks it, even after setting the delay to 0. Meh

Well it did its purpose alright. But at the same time it made me permanently unable to use the finger scan option to unlock my phone and it also made my screen turn black out of nowhere a lot.

Great app, few ads, plenty of settings. Works like it's supposed to, my phone's power button doesn't work well so this helps a lot.

The app has stopped phone turning on in pocket. I now find phone calls continuously cut out after a minute. I suspect it is the app but is there a way to check or a setting to alter before deleting app and seeing if this happens again.

App was working fine for the first few days then it just keeps locking my phone when I'm in the middle of writing a message or watching videos

I was looking for a way to keep my screen locked on incoming calls, if i have handsfree conected, so that calls could not get accidentaly terminated in my pocket. I did not find a way to achieve that with this app.

I was pocket dialing 911 at least 4 times a week. I took every step available for my phone to make sure it didn't happen but it still did. I downloaded this app and haven't pocket dialed since.

I wish it had an option to kill the screen without requiring pass code to unlock. Otherwise, no complaints.

Issues on Mi Note Pro 10 (sometimes it works other times not). Autostar for app enabled, energy control "No limits" was set too.

Why when I have pocket lock running and I pick up my phone to unlock I can't unlock via face recognition nor fingerprint? Can I fix this. Thats the only thing that would cause me not to use this app

It did work, but it kept locking my phone constantly. This became so annoying that I uninstalled the app.

It turns itself on at all times, when not wanted. Very annoying. Don't bother!!!

When Pocket Lock is on it is 85% effective, but it keeps turning itself off, and is therefore less effective

I was going crazy with random apps being started when my phone was in my pocket. It never happens now. Thanks!

Works well but just got a Samsung S10 and it seems to interfere with fingerprint unlock.

It was working great, then for some reason it stopped working so i downloaded it again to see if it works better

Can't unlock with fingerprint. It says device locked by admin. otherwise, it's good app

Proximity sensor is working great but gravity sensor is not working plz make it more sensitive, my device is redmi 4A

No longer works after most recent Android operating system update.

Tried to use. 5 minutes in my pocket and I pocket dialed someone. Didn't work for me
