For some reason this app works fine on my phone but when I try to open it on my tablet it says that I don't have a stable connection..... very annoying. Love this game and have love d it since I was a kid but.... this is not convenient.

I spent plenty of money a while back on this game. I went to log in a few times over the past two months and am unable to. No updates in 3 years...

My internet works perfectly fine but the game says my internet isn't optimal

You just had to remove the game off the play store. Wait, how am I typing this?

I liked the story, and played for about 20 minutes.. what ruined it for me instantly was the joystick moving controls. It's awkward to use, and in constantly moving left when I try to go right, which makes me move into mobs. I'm sure it's a great game. I was just getting really frustrated trying to climb the rope when I would just jump in place, or jump past it.

Controls are so frustrating. This is a platformer rpg with lots of jumping. But its so freaking hard to jump and lan where you want to. Sometimes jumping wont work at all and you cant get around untill you your 50th try to make an easy looking jump... not responsive at all. If they make controls smoother and way better, the game would be awesome

Well it is expensive to play and have fun. Hard kill bosses. Penalties are really harsh or harshest. You die more than ever. There is no flexibility. They don't worry you're using a phone controlling is hard. No matter you level up the boss stays can kill you by 2 hits. Lack of people to help. I had horrible experience.

A few things I'm not too fond of. Those would be that there's no gender choice, it's not a true MMO like PC MS, also it's missing ALOT of the PC classes and would be alot better if they had them all. and the gameplay slows down after time so it's impossible to continue without spending money or hours of grinding at a time. Overall I like it because it's like the PC version just missing a few things.

Only problem is that you start feeling lonely after a while. There is this other game that is similar called starlight legends and it is multi-player in all areas not just dungeons like this game. The best part about pc MS is the community. It's really fun playing with other players so it would be really nice if this game was real time multi-player in all areas. I still go on this game here and there but right now I have been putting alot more time and $ into starlight legends because of the community.

Classes felt unbalanced. Controls were frustrating mainly because you can't move when you jump straight up. Wouldn't be as bad if it weren't for the undefined edges of platforms. A lot of time is spent trying to simply get to enemies to fight them. Even auto battle struggles with terrain. A grinding intensive game shouldn't be an unpolished puzzle platformer at the same time. The game felt like it was in alpha testing as far as gameplay goes, except there's no bugs.

Dear nexon, your game is Great but is missing one thing. This one thing I would like to suggest would be to add Controller support to this game. I think it would be a good small update to the game because I'm aware that alot of smartphone gamers may use controllers. If you could you could add that it would be great! Thanks - Axurio

For your own good, start looking for another job, maybe one that does not have anything to do with game development. You guys are good, somewhere else. By the way, if you still have at least 1% of dignity, DON'T REPLY TO THIS REVIEW! That alone will only make you look more miserable. Have a good day and don't make me hear from you again.

You get no EXP from quests and it is hard to level up (little EXP from monsters and little amount of mesos given). Also you need to give more skill points each level. By the time of the next job advancement, there is not enough skill points to max everything out

I got back into Pocket Maplestory and my son and I dropped some cash into them to support the game and have fun, only to find out they are shutting the game down in a month. Great game, old school but silly not to just remarket it and not rip off your people. Just consolidate your servers ot risk a ding on your rep for letting your people down.

Has nexon given up on this game? It almost a year and no latest update. It says Oct '16. Geez. I thought about spending money but can't do that because of some error. Oh well money saved. Oh and kinda p2w for convenience. No way of getting a free sp reset from my point. 2k candies =$2 for a sp reset. All this meso and can't really use all of it.

I used to play maplestory on the PC and it was great but why do you have to download another file after installing it on your phone it takes forever and it's really big. I think I would rather play the PC version but then again it isn't the worst idea making maplestory mobile either. I give nexon credit because atleast they're trying to do a good thing here and I see potential but I recommend before installing make sure you have good internet connection and good storage space.

I used to play Maple Story a lot when I was younger, and I thought I could re live it through Pocket Maple story, but whenever I open the app it says it needs to update, then proceeds to tell me data connection is not optimal, yet I have LTE (basically 4g) and the unlimited data plan so I can't even play it, and searching around found no solutions to this issue, only more complaints about the same issue I'm having. I see a lot of negative comments about this as well, so I'm gonna put something constructive here, to the developers. I get you guys probably want to make money off this, and you probably have some players sinking several hundred dollars in this already, but you could be making thousands more if you actually sit down and really put some hard work into this. Making a MS clone for androids and iPhones would see you guys rolling in cash. When you have people who can't either play at all or have a hard time playing, all you'll ever have is pocket change compared to what you could be making.

Well... i dont know what to say but here gose. I know this is a mobile platform but we are not uncapable i mean auto-battle ? Really ? It the equwivalent of auto aim for consoles only this is worse some how. Just click on auto-battle drink potions and you are good otherwise gps all thru the game. At least as far as i played. I know pc dose not equal mobile but come on. I know the pc version weights a few GBs which would fry a mobile but in that case dont port it in the first place feels a bit stupid not much more to say everyday login reward seen it ah... its a get it at your own lesure but be warned it is kinda meh...

It's been a while since I had to play this game. The gameplay is a lot better than the last one and I also enjoy the control. Simple and easy beastie. Overall I don't really give a thumbs down for this game. It's pretty fun actually🙋

Maple story kind of ran in my family.. my dad played it alot and he was really good, so I decided to play it... I just downloaded it yesterday and I'm already level 41! And tbh the Controls aren't THAT bad.. it works for me and I use a small phone.. one of my favorite RPG. Thanks Nexon!

Nexon u fell off a long time ago. Ur compony is trash. Pocket ms is just one of many that show it. I mean..can game controls seriously get any worse? And the game has latency issues. Its not because of my side, its on urs. Disappointed.

Doesn't even run on the s8+. Starts and shows the notices screen then says checking server and the only button says confirm but if you press that the program closes and if you leave it nothing happens. I'm gutted because I loved maplestory on PC when I played it years ago.

Brings back memories from playing MS on PC. Still has a few bugs that need to be ironed out, but overall its not bad. Update: Got a new phone and the game crashes right after the Nexon logo pops up. Is there any support for Android Nougat?
