Pocket Pharmacist is an app created to help non-medical everyday people to better understand their basic medications and provide immediate dosage information.
It is developed based on the usual emergency scenario that we experience so often: Someone is sick (especially a kid) and your family doctor and pharmacist is not available. The hospital is too far. You need something to help before you can go seek medical help. So you go into your first aid kit and there are some medications there. Wait, but what's what? The pill pocket's lost. So who do you call? Nobody. We understand the frustration and that is the reason this app is born.

The next big question: What's the credibility of the author? There are loads of information on the internet and 90% of the time we don't know if we can trust the information. It could be your next door drunken neighbor who wrote the article about pills that can boost your sex drive. You don't have to worry as the author Jennifer Lee is a fully registered pharmacist with almost 10 years of experience in the retail line and is still in the retail front line. That's why you can find certain recommendations based on personal experience and patient feedback.
