Looking for a fun rally game to play to while listening to epic 80s rock? A level of oldschool immersion I could never expect to have while dozing off in class or commuting on train. The oldschool sound design is retro in all the good ways possible, and the charm of the clear, low poly graphics... Your phone could be whatever, and you could still have heaps of fun for hours thanks to the economical nature of the graphics. And the surprisingly satisfying physics engine... It's the game we need!
'Pocket Rally' is a fun throwback to vintage rally games. I enjoyed revisiting it recently. βPROS: It's old but it still looks good. Fun physics. Google Play Games integration with achievements. Controller support, which I used. Doesn't take up a ton of room and can run on a potato. I used to run this on a Moto E1 many years ago. It's worth the money. βCONS: They removed the blue Alpine. It's not their fault, Renault forced the issue, but it is kind of sad. Challenge I is monotonous.
Fun game! It reminds me of sega rally. I find it more enjoyable with a controller. Each car feels and handles differently. Which gives plenty of variety. It's definitely an easy to get the hang of, hard to master type of driver. Highly recommend
It never - NEVER! - gets boring. Why? It's optically very beautifully made with perfectly beautiful cars and landscapes, perfect physics and controls. And what's most important; you just open the game and have fun playing it. No pay to play, no ads, nothing that's superfluous. Just open it and have fun driving. It's real challenging, but once you can handle the cars well, you get addicted to the fun.
Controls take some getting uses to, unless you can get your hands on a propper controller. The rating is strongly based on the feel and physics of the cars. Considering the price it's excellent. Recommended as fun little game or just a time waster for your PC, alternatively for your phone. For a PC the controls is great, because you map them yourself.
I absolutely praise this game. Been playing it off and on since 2018 on various devices. Always ran great. My favorite part though is the custom control mapping that more popular titles could take a note and learn from. Makes it absolutely perfect on any controller. even Bendy can't seem to figure this out.
In the jungle there's another racetrack, another jungle road leading around that Aztec pyramid. Why can't we drive there? O, and what about the tunnel and the road junction up above? Please add a few more racetracks. Would be gorgeous if you did that in an update. Your game is the absolute best game in that category. I play it since years now, and it never gets boring! One can say that just about very few games!
Very good game. Runs well on galaxy Tab a6 10.1 and works really well with a joystick. Good job by developers. I would recommend it. Update: Played for a good while now, easily one of the best rally/racing games. Sometimes you find a game and wonder how has someone made a game that's so much better than others, and this is one great example.
Great game! Has been one of my favorites for years. Support these guys, not an ad machine, not pay to play, just a fun and challenging game. Thanks to this developer! The scam ad machine games could learn a lot from you. This how games should be.
Ive had this game for a long time and every time i play it for some reason it gets more and more satisfying to drift and just play overall (i LOVE this game). And you can hold the share button and the ps button on a playstation 4 controller to turn on Bluetooth and you can connect to the gameπ (theres also gamepad settings)πππππππππ BUT the games graphics need to be improved a bit.
Okay I just ran one race and this is far better than the rally 2 game I just deleted. The graphics are detailed and the car is actually driveable! I was challenged but still able to win a head to head race on my second try. Thank you!
It's definitely a great game. Feels like classic PSP game with twist of sega rally challenge. Only thing I don't like about it was asphalt felt like patched ice, and sometimes the challenge was inconsistent with its difficulties. But then for $0.99 you can't ask for more. Thank you dev for supporting this game for this long.
Great graphics. It's not an easy Racing game. Takes skill the farther you go. I recommend just pay the 99cents because if you get the lite version first and then decide to buy you lose your progress.
Very good game, the mechanics are so realistic and it feels like im actually driving the car and drifting, the only down side is that i remember this game being free but now i have to pay. Other than that very good that Illusion Studios, keep it up!
Some of the challenges are very easy, but some seem impossible ! Not very consistent and I can imagine many people deleting the game after one day. It's fun and it looks good, but it's not very well made for the player. And that is a shame
The game is good, but getting old now. If they make a new game, please add more cars and maps, and better sounds. The game runs smooth and the cars are fun to drive. The graphics are dated but doesn't ruin the game. Used to play the free lite version, then bought the full version, with the hopes of finally being able to unlock the alpine a110 that I keep seeing in the ad and the achievements, only to find out it's been removed.... Could make that clearer. Also adding a save replay option.
