Great game and I was considering the upgrade except one issue... you cannot save and quit during a run without the ultimate edition. They needlessly locked an element of player convenience and accessibility behind the upgrade. I'll absolutely pay for additional content in good games but if you lock the player out of a basic feature you already implemented for player convenience... this game is like other mobile games but not (nearly) as scummy. Still no support from me.
The game is awesome and I kinda get addicted the more I die and Upgrade. The only reason that I give you 4star is there is no joystick to aim at the enemy. It's really kinda hard to aim @ the enemy while walking to the direction to shoot the enemy. I hope in next update to put a joystick or auto aim to the enemy. I would be great to enemies from afar.
This game is alot of fun to play but there definitely room for improvement. Good foundation, little to no lag, a few gameplay issues, but overall this is an awesome game. Some parts I'd say are just to difficult, requires alot of grinding, and then grinding some more. I like that you can work your way to improve your characters, that's awesome. Looking forward to see more updates/content.
Very well put together, no your face ads whatsoever, in fact, I don't think I've seen a single ad yet, and don't think I will. If your looking for a great, free, rougelike with smooth movements, classic graphics, and and is easy to get into, then Pocket Rouges deserves a place in your heart and in your library. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This game is seriously underrated; I genuinely would not have expected a mobile game of this quality to not have been mentioned before. The combat mechanics are very concise, fluid, and makes sense for the game's genre. The lore is brief, yet fills you with a sense of hope that maybe, you just might be the one to free humanity from the confines of the dungeons. The stat and guild progression are realistically slow, but not so slow that you feel no sense of accomplishment for grinding. 9/10 game.
Fun concept overall. But there were a few annoying quirks I found; -The movement being reset in combat so even though the "joystick" is being pushed your charactet doesnt move. -Being unable to tell when your character is locked on to an enemy, making raged classes annoying to use (especially against the warlock) -The wizard class "passive" spells like barrier and control are pretty useless, the barrier taking too much mana and control causing enemies to get close before the timer ends.
4 stars, could easily be 5! Really good roguelike game, spent many hours playing it without getting bored. Until I tried the Wizard/Necromancer class. Mana/stamina is a huge issue, unplayable classes. While my hunter runs around and has 0 issue with mana but slaughters everything in his path. Please do something about this mana issue, its absurd.
Love the game all in all, the graphics, the sounds/music, story, etc, but, what's happening with my inventory? It keeps on changing what i pick. Like if i pick my helmet it moves to a different item. Like the hell, it's bugged.
Very well polished and enjoyable to grind for stuff, other than problems most of the players have, it's honestly surprising what this offers for free and actually insentivises for those who enjoyed to pay for extra content, one of the main complaints i have is with pets, i can't really access properly what their skills are and the game doesn't give information that the pets can't upgrade all skills to the max, there should be a respec skills option since i want to spec my pet differently.
I absolutly love this game but it's just not right. I'm not sure if this was supposed to happen: After the tutorial I lost all of my loot. My axe, my shield, my artifacts, everything. That really made the catacombs hard. I'm still trying to beat them. The game is way to hard if you have no loot. I have resarted the game multiple times to try to fix this. These problems really make a great game very bad. 1 star until fixed.
The game is amazing, but the controls are kinda hard. Can you put fixed position in the circle walking control? Imma uninstall the game for a while, hope you add this feature really quick.
Good game awful gear drop rate. Too often you can end up in boss rooms without having grabbed enough gear, or you get too much of the same (for example 4 hats and nothing else in one run).
I'll tell you everything people are saying. Ultimate = 2 more classes and some extra dropped gold. Developer needs money somehow. One developer BTW. There is co-op. Movement is alright (you'll get use to it.) There is a learning curve, not bad though. Games grindy but totally f2p (outside those 2 classes) some people had issues saving between ultimate and free. I personally never had that issue (just saved to cloud.) Progress in the game is steady, but know there's a ton of progress to be made.
I find the controls easy to use on a keyboard, but difficult to use on a touchscreen. Having to make precise movements to dodge, press the right buttons for attacking and/or blocking, all at once, is an absolute pain when you're only using 2 fingers. On a different note, although the variety in combat is funnelled solely depending on which class you pick, it removes the stress in figuring out the stats and gear you need for a playstyle.
I like this game slot but the bosses are to hard for beginners. I got to level 38 and still can't beat the first boss. I like this game because you can go at your own pace.
Theres not much item in this game. King of bones is too powerful. Max skill level is only 25 and max player stats is 50 compare to the enemy level up to 100+. This makes necromancer summon skill useless. Some balance needed on some enemys which can deal very high damage instantly.
I honestly got this to finally have a game where I could play as a necromancer... only to learn it was locked behind a paywall... ok fine. Other than that mild complaint the game is fine though saving should be free. It does what it wants though not perfectly nor even exceptionally. It does a decent job but not much more. The paid one is way better. That and the grinding is tough. Really tough but doable with a load of time. Ok game. It's an ok game.
Pretty fun, but the game could use some balancing to make it more playable. For example, the Statue Guardian enemies are way OP, and are pretty much an instant death-sentence. No matter how much gear I've picked up or how many power ups I use, they kill me 100% of the time, and they can be found within seconds of the first level. It seriously hampers the ability to get into the game.
A great game overall, mobs can be very overpowering at times, but with certain utilities, you can overcome them. Some abilities of certain classes are not as fun or useful than others, so the devs should really rework them. But on the bright side, I really enjoyed the 'travelling to each floor not knowing what to expect in them' as I first started out. Once I cleared all of them and got used to it, it became a grind for money and levels. But surprisingly, that's why I keep playing this fun game.
A pretty damn good game, haven't experienced lag (May be because this phone is new) and really hooks you in for more loot and exploration every run. A huge reason of why this isn't 5 star is because of the fact that you can't save and quit a dungeon without premium. I'm a free to play and this feature really didn't need to be behind a paywall in my opinion, and it's frustrating when I leave to go to another app for 30 seconds, and return to find that all the progress just disintegrated.
