This idea of this app was to make our job just a little easier, whether it be in the shop or in the field.
I always find myself searching for a chart or something on Google almost every other day. Pocket Welder Helper has a lot of that here. A majority of the app's functions work without an internet connection, so you can use it anywhere.

Excellent app. Has most everything you need at a quick glance. The weld and cutting setting sections rock! A lot of info without being overwhelming. Comprehensive and informative
Very quick and easy, a little less useful for odd material thicknesses but very good for a quick refresher even after having 4 years experience in the field, and for setting up the apprentice
This is one of the best apps when it comes to setting up your welding. Had it for 5 years now and it's still works brilliantly
This ap is half-baked. It could be very useful if it was complete (fully-baked). Doesn't include .030 wire in it's weld tables. Also doesn't show data for 1/16 or 5/64 electrodes in the weld tables.
Love the app really useful for when you don't have a clue what filler to use or amp setting nice switch between standard & metric will recommend to all
We are mig welding with 1.6 mm wire but that option isnt available and I cant put that number in as in change the size. So it calculates amps and speed with that wire .
I loved it, but the material thickness doesn't go low enough. I fabricate signs, and weld .063 and .080 often.

Very informative. Stick weld setting is simple. Stick diameter, stick contents=amperage field and weld joint type. Easy to reconfigure changes
the charts and guides page wont let me scroll down. also add some tables for preheat temps for structual steels.

Poorly formatted for Android otherwise I'd give it 5 stars. Charts, for instance, in vertical mode there is info off the right side and you cant scroll left & right. When I rotate the phone it goes back to the main page. If I start in horizontal mode I can't scroll down to see the rest of the menus.
