Default app nothing special about it. They use Google maps API. The price value relation does not match up. The device is expensive and the subscription plan starts TOO EARLY (only one month free). It is a way too expensive. The design and fabrication for the device aren't that bad, but it is still too big for a small cat. I am disappointed.

I just read some dreadful reviews of Podtracker, but I have had the opposite experience. I have had the tracker on my young and active cat for over a year. I bought it through Amazon and have had excellent customer service from the techs at Podtrackers. I even had one find the tracker for me when I couldn't locate it. It was hanging on a fence. The batteries are easy to change and my cat, Stealth, does not mind anything about wearing it.

Without notifications this is useless. They've had over a year since the android 8 release. I doubt we'll ever see a fix. To make things worse, the battery suddenly went from lasting 5 days to lasting half a day. Support sent me a lot of interesting info, but we're very reluctant to admit there may be an issue with the device. Then they just stopped responding. Honestly, I think they've run out of their Kickstarter money and can no longer support the device or app properly. What happened to all of the accessories that were supposed to be in development? It's a shame. I really wanted this to work out, but I'll be returning it for a refund under the sale of goods act.

The new update is a major step backwards. The battery icon no longer shows how much is remaining on the main screen making it harder to know when to change batteries and they removed the in app help feature. Please at a minimum add the battery percent back in. The in app help was good to since it was needed to resolve issues with the trackers.

Dreadful hardware, software and customer service. Don't waste your money. When it worked, battery life was shocking, my fault for being in a remote area. When there is better reception it will not connect to the network. When a friend says hers is being replaced because it won't connect to the network, I enquire if mine can also be replaced, I am told no because its out of warranty. Despite the app clearly saying the tracker has not been seen on the network for 6 months, when it was in warranty.

I used to love this app and the connected tracker, and replaced a damaged pod earlier this year. However during the last few months either my new pod or the app is failing, batteries only last about 12 hrs instead if 3-4 days. I have contacted the help desk but that only gets you so far and then communication stops. Such a shame.

The tracker worked for 2 years but it stopped about two weeks ago. There is nothing wrong with the unit but it looks like it does not connect to the mobile network anymore. I have no reply from support. As you can see from other reviews the company stopped replying to customers or the reviews. It is a sad end for good product (when it worked).

Pod now useless after update. I am considering switching to another brand. The pod will not synch after the latest update. I have been troubleshooting for almost 2 weeks with Pod. Extremely disappointed as I am one of the original indiegogo backers.

Having a terrible time. Only manage to connect when first turned on. Will not refresh even in the middle of a town square with full GPS and 4G coverage. I'm sure the Pod is working but the app cannot make it respond.

BUYER BEWARE!! This company and product are not worth the hassle at all. They are borderline scamming people. Summary of my experience below, details are simplified to fit in the review text limit. Ordered tracker 5 months ago. Got lied to multiple times as to why it wasn't shipped. Had to call to keep pressuring for product. Got product 2 weeks ago, missing lifetime subscription that was promised when ordered. Contacted them, tried to lie to me more, they altered my order date to remove the offer and tried to act like it wasn't a thing. Took fighting with them to get it honored. Spent last 2 weeks trying to get it working/connect to cell service, wont. Contact them again, they tell me tracker only works with TMobile, yet site says AT&T and TMobile is used. Says that info is wrong and old, yet still advertising it on their site. Demanded a refund because of all this trouble/hassle and headache. Not worth it at all. Just another Kickstarter scam company that is out for money. Spend your money elsewhere on a different tracker. These are not worth it.

this tracker is very good when it works, I've had it for 6 months, some times it doesn't work at all in places where it has worked in the past. the service went down for a week and I was unaware of this until I lost my dog in the woods only to find out the tracker isn't working. but I put up with this for peace of mind, then I take my dogs out today get to the woods to find out my subscription has been cancelled and I need to renew it witch is fine if I had my bank cards in the woods but I dont😡

I don't even know if this company is still in business. Their customer service has dropped down to barely nothing. My Pod has been broken for over a year, they wouldn't refund me last years subscription and just charged me again even though I'm not even using the unit! When I go into my account my pet isn't listed anymore and there's no way for me to cancel my subscription or delete my credit card information. I can't reach anyone at the company, which is really alarming.

Worthless piece of s--t. Don't waste your money. Took 5 tries to get it to take my credit card information and then told me my contract had expired. Never had a contract. This thing better not charge my credit card since my contract is expired.

only thing bugging me right now is the slider on the adventure page should centre the map on each point as it moves along the path. also id like an option to stop zooming out the main map to see home/dog and just zoom to dog.

App was not available in Google Play Store, emailed support and after 24 hours advised it was now available. Indeed it is but the app fails to start with andriod simply reporting it has stopped. Not the experience I was looking for :(

my pod stopped working last December, said they would replace it,im still waiting 9 months later, keep being told its because its v pet tracker now and they cant do the life time subscription, only get the updated when i send a message to them, wont refund, all i want is the replacement pod.still waiting 12 months later for the replacement, it's a joke

After a year, my Pod has stopped locating with GPS and WIFI with this app and on Windows. No response from company. No PodTrackers activity on Facebook or Twitter for over six months. Doesn't look too good.

App stopped working months ago. Pods failed shortly after. Promised replacements never arrived. Customer support was once great but now non-existent. Looks like the company has collapsed, shame. BUYER BEWARE.
