I have tried many apps like this and this app is the first one that seemed to actually work, at least some of the time. It's still annoying that in roughly 3/4 times the connected AirPods aren't recognized, or sometimes it only recognizes 1 of the 2 ear pieces. So far I haven't had any luck in making it show the case battery. I have a AirPods 2 and my phone is a Pixel 4XL. Nevertheless I commend the developers for their work and I purchased Ad removal. Hopefully it can be improved in the future!
It definitely does work, but it is a hassle to get it to actually display the correct battery percentage. As sometimes it will show me blatantly incorrect battery percentage, or sometimes it will display nothing. But when you get it to work it does it's job. Most certainly needs some extra optimization.
It worked ok for my purpose and I don't mind watching ads as I only check once in a week, but I am seeing adult ads and there is no way to close them, so this is a very cheeky way of demanding a paid upgrade. I didn't want to be forced to upgrade, so looked around and got AirBattery to work well. It doesn't show obtrusive ads and I am now willinfly paying for its upgrade.
I was super annoyed since I've got AirPod 3 and no app seems to be supporting them and it's just a pain to monitor the battery status and I was constantly downloading different apps but this one seems to work so far. I see some discrepancy when it comes to the base percentage charges but hoping the app will calibrate it properly and provide more accuracy moving forward. Will update in a few days if it is indeed legit or just some programming tricks.
It definitely does the job just gotta be connect to the ear pods, but I guess it's great for android users like myself/ very, EXSTREAMLY hard to get my wifi to scan and be able to find my ear pod pros, but I think that's a issue with using android with a apple itemπ€·π»ββοΈ
This app has way too many ads and, no I'm not paying for ad removal cause I don't trust it. With that said the functions are lack luster. You only show the image of the case with the AirPods in the case with the other apps and, even iPhones don't. It's such a waste of space
Perfect. After viewing an ad for 5 seconds (which allows the app to be free), you can get a reading for the battery life of each earbud and the case. Simple and easy to use.
It will tell me I have super low battery one minute, and the next tell me it's full. Then almost immediately tell me it's low again. I mean in a matter of seconds it goes back and forth. Definitely not useful.
Good app . But everytime we open some ads pops up . that the one thing that i dont like about the app. Ofcourse usual ad is ok as every one has to earn some money but its too much sometimes.
I bought fake airpods that work great and connect without any issue to my phone (android) but when i open the case with my airpods in it it doesent even detect anything, when i press battery tab again in the middle it shows "rate app" or something and everything else is blank
After the most recent update with my Samsung S10 plus on Verizon, the airpods won't stay connected via Bluetooth. Or when the left airpod is dying and try to switch to the right it will not switch or activate the other airpod in the case. Is there a Bluetooth update or an app update to correct this problem?
Doesn't work for me. Kept my airpod case open for 3 minutes, and it still said waiting for connection. Moved tabs to Settings, then Apps, and when I returned, it was playing my airpods name, the I Love PodAir button, and absolutely nothing else. I had high hopes because of the ratings and reviews but was disappointed yet again.
I did exactly what the instructions said. Then proceeded to check the battery levels. They then fluctuated between 50, 80, and 100 percent. Even though they were 100. Verified by a friends iphone which I connected after.
A billion ads with every click and it doesn't even recognize the airpods, then instead of the connect option there's a button that says "I LOVE PODAIR" and tries to get you to 5 star for doing literally nothing.
Does as it should. I just switched back from apple and and glad I can keep using my airpods pros and be able to see the battery level. Only issue really is they show as 2nd gen airpods instead of pros.
Absolutely pointless app. Waste of time. It doesn't auto popup. There is no active notification, no widget. Nothing. Nada. You have to click on the app every time you want to check. There are better apps albeit with low ratings that work much much much better than this POS. Try AirBattery or Materialpods (no affiliation)
Used to work most of the time. Now rarely works. Air pod pros. Paid for upgrade. Will likely delete app if nothing changes. Samsung, update. Will not work deleting app. Garbage.
It does nothing.. just stays on the trying to connect to my airpods, there literally right beside my phone and connected but yet for some reason it can't seem to connect? And then the only thing that does show up is for me to give a rating. ππ€¬ I'm over it already, uninstalling.
Working fine but doesn't fit my screen well enough. The battery icon and numbers overlap and the case pic looks like it was cropped. I'm using using an Asus 3 Laser. And why is there 2 app icons? EDIT: They fixed it! A little slow but they addressed the problem properly and fixed it. Great job!
Annoyingly, having previously had no problems with the app, I now find it works only seldom & with great difficulty. It appears to be stuck on the 'I love podair!' message & constantly wanting an app review (even though I've clearly already given one). Please can you fix this?
Genuinely impressed with how quick it responds when I open the case. A pop up feature would make this really nice but so far no issues and its great at telling me the right battery amount. Though it would be cooler if it told you the exact amount instead of the 10s (e.g. 70% 80% 90%).
This app rewrote something on my airpods pro and renamed it something in gibberish. I renamed it in my Bluetooth settings thinking it was cosmetic, then my airpods wouldn't connect correctly to my laptop or my phone. It caused my audio settings to crash several times on my laptop. Finally uninstalled and used another app, but the weird renamed thing stuck, so now I'm thinking the app actually caused a bug in the airpods themselves. Reset airpods and now using another app. They work fine now.
Works great! I have samsung galaxy s9 plus. It paired fast, didn't crash. Thanks :) Update 10/1/2020 App replicated itself meaning I now have 2 icons of the same app on my phone. I tried uninstalling and installing again and same issue persists. Just giving y'all a feedback
Been using this app for a few days and love the simplicity! It's so hard to pick an app, there are so many. This gives me just the battery levels of each ear and case individually. Exactly what I wanted. Adds not obtrusive at all.
After testing many Apps for Airpod Apps for Android, I found a flawless Airpod App for my Android, the PodAir which performs flawlessly and displays the charger case in a color meter representing the battery status of the Right and Left Airpods as well as the Battery status of my Charger Case. Yes! SOLD!! DONE AND DONE!! NO LOOKING ANY FURTHER, I'M HAPPY 5 STARS!!
I have a xiaomi redmi note 8, when I first opened the app it didn't say anything about phone compatibility and as I can see in the description it only says about Huawei phones not working. Though it seems xiaomi doesn't work as well cause the airpods connected successfully but the app just doesn't see them Edit: it says my phone it supported, but same issue, app gets stuck on detecting airpods
My airpods aren't getting detected that they are connected already to my android. And yes, I'm sure they are airpods. I connected my airpods a variety of times already, have uninstalled this app, and downloaded again. Still not working, so one star.
Absolute garbage. Almost never works, full of ads and it's still somehow the best air pod app on the Play store. **Update, still terrible but found a way better option. Download Airbattery on the Play store and save yourself the headache.
Unfortunately it really struggles to find my airpods reliably even when they are in use with the phone. When it does the battery percent flickers between a high and low number so I actually have no idea what the charge is like.
Worked for about two weeks, then wouldn't show the airpods at all or their status at all. Various solutions attempted, zero worked. My notes: The ads aren't atrocious, unless you're rushing through life and can't wait all of five seconds to x out of them. It reads the status fairly accurately (at least accurate as an iPad pro), give/take 2% difference. Once the app stops working, in my case, reinstalling works for the next few times you open the app. My advice: Seek an alternative π
