This is an amazing app. I wish the next update allows us to rate the podcasts. Why is it that android users do not have a way of reviewing the podcasts we subscribe to...(I have the version with the different icon, which I suppose is the newer version, but have been using it for at least 4 years)
Was a former loyal fan of pocketcasts until they changed their business model to subscription. Paid for their app years ago and now I am a free user. No notice, no compensation, no nothing. Sent them emails without a reply. So I uninstalled and left them a 1-star review. Hope it doesn't happen here. Should you switch to subscription, paid users should be entitled to lifetime premium license.
Great to still hv the early version of the app around for my older devices. Less bulky than the newer version and easy to use.

Top quality service. Even better for podacsts than itunes! I had some problems too but the developer/support staff will respond to email very fast and courtiously. Oh, and make sure you don't download the 2.3 version if it doesn't match your phone. that's all I'll say on that matter 😂
The app works great. Love the auto download customization ability. The creator is really helpful if anything goes wrong. Best possible combination.

Too many tricky advertisements. Hard to close. We are all on ad overload here. Stop wasting our time. Also difficult to figure out how to download episodes so as not to use up data.
My phone is stuck with Gingerbread, lucky for me that this version of the app works perfectly. All the features of the regular app.

I am a runner with limited WiFi where I live. I love that I can access/download all my running, misc, and sport podcasts on here for a later listening. Great quality, and easy to use.
New to podcasting my son told me about this app and it's really easy to use and get the pod casts downloaded for listening later. well done.
Powerful app! The interface is a bit tricky to understand at first, but very good once you get used to it.

This is really easy to use and there are lots of ways to customise it to suit your needs. It works on my oldish Android phone and saves me lots of time, being able to choose episodes on the move, which are remembered to download once I'm on WiFi.
This is a God send. Since I'm using an old tablet as a media device it's been hard to find an average podcast client - most keep crashing out on my Android 4 platform.. So I thought I'd give this Android 2 version a go as I've previously used the up-to-date app and found it pretty decent. This is a great piece of software, though the layout is a little convoluted and could be smoother and more fluid. Apart from that, it's certainly one of the better clients out there.
