Great app. Missing one feature that would make it perfect, ability to advance to the next episode from within Android Auto. Also, I hate the name. It is offensive. It kept from trying the app for a long time. If the old app I used for podcasts hadn't dropped Android Auto support, I never would have installed. It's never a good idea to make light of a serious medical condition.

Great podcast app, does everything I want it to. There's only one small feature tweak that would make me happy: I often don't end up listening to the last little bit of a podcast episode, since it's just credits and thank-yous. But this makes it so that the "delete all played episodes" feature doesn't work, since the episodes aren't 100% played, and I have to search through all of my download episodes to delete the ones that are 95% played. If I could tweak that function so that it deletes all episodes that are x% played, that would be great.

I have been using this app for years, so it is about time I paid for it! I absolutely love it. For ages I spent time tinkering with the settings to get everything just right. Now, I hardly notice the app, because it is so streamlined about updating podcasts, adding to the playlist (in the correct order), deleting when played, downloading next episode, etc. There is nothing I would change!

Great App. Very powerful and full of features, but still easy to use. An absolute must if you are going to use Android Auto. Side note: My phone was causing a problem with the app. I send in a message / bug report, not really expecting much. Within an hour the developer emailed me, asked me to send him a log, reviewed that and emailed me back how to fix the problem with my phone. Wow...just great support. I've tried many podcast apps, and this is the clear best. Very easy to find the right episodes, hide played episodes, and create a custom playlist. It also has a great feature to create a backup of the app to move onto a new phone, and another great feature which lets you use an SD card for storage on a phone with a smaller memory. Fantastic app!

It's a very good player, but *really* misses some kind of account log in to keep your podcasts synchronized between devices. Subscriptions, played episodes, even position where the last episode was left... this should be in sync real time. It is possible to filter your subscriptions by category, which is nice when you have 100+ podcasts in your list. However attributing categories to podcasts can't be done by bulk, so you have to add/delete categories in a one by one basis, which is not very practical. Still hands down my favorite player.

I have been using this podcast player for nearly a year now and couldn't be happier with it. I have tried several other players and nothing compares to the quality and number of features that this app offers. There are frequent updates that keep it running smoothly. I got a new phone and all of my settings and playlists transferred over without me having to do a thing! I expected to need to recreate my playlists and subscriptions.

This is the one! Spent ages looking for a podcast app that isn't opinionated, just providing me with a feature rich and intuitive interface. Very pleased so far and more than happy to pay to remove the advertising. The interface isn't the shiniest and most polished, instead does what it says on the tin, not hiding important details from the user, such as file size for each download etc. Would recommend.

Awesome app, worth paying. I used the free version for a few weeks. Super easy to use, so many settings to customize to your taste, I've found every podcast I want there. It defaults to banner ads, or you can change to interstitials (on screen ads), *none* of the ads interrupt playback. That attention to the user experience is why I paid for the app. Because the designer cares so much for UX that the app is fully functional and non-ad-interrupting in the free version. Take my money, maestro!

The best podcast app I have ever used. The minor issues are purely to do with them adding so many features that it can seem like a lot BUT they have worked super hard to make every feature fit together as smoothly and as intuitively as possible. It is constantly getting better and any feature you do want is often in the app but might take a bit of searching. So worth it. Support the devs! :)

This app has everything that I've between looking for in a podcast app. The interface is intuitive and I love the flexibility of the controls. New podcasts can be set to automatically download when on wifi. Playlists can be created with great flexibility of play order. I've also rediscovered internet radio. And there's much, much more ;-) Thank you for a super app.

Incredible podcast app. I hope with all the hours I've had this opened they made more than with this 3 dollars. But seriously, it has such great set of features, and it might look old school or not have a fancy UI, but it does not need it. Under all its text menus you will find every setting and feature you could possibly need, and even more, from back up and restore your settings to auto delete on finished and auto suscribe. 5 stars is not enough.

Extremely powerful and frequently updated. Clearly developed by someone who is highly competent and cares about what they're doing. Lacks the glitches and bugs common in other podcast apps. Easy to use if you just want to plug and play and not worry about the myriad power user features. I paid for this out of sincere gratitude for the hard work that went into this fantastic app. Thank You!

I've been using the free version for a while now. My phone has an ad blocker so the ads for this app were blocked but I liked this app so much that I went ahead and paid for it even though the fact that getting rid of ads with the paid version wasn't even an issue for me. Highly recommended podcast app. * Easy to use and refresh to get latest podcasts. * Love the trim silence and playback speed controls. * Really like the 'car layout' display with big control buttons (helpful in the car) (too many apps have tiny control buttons) * Lots of customization options

Excellent, thoughtfully designed app. Lots of great features for power users, but I was also able to get it working great for my non-technical mom after some initial setup. I like most of all that it works reliably and isn't glitchy like Google Play Music which I previously used for podcasts. The $2.99 for the Donate app (now you can use an in-app purchase which is more straightforward) was well worth it to remove ads. Free version crashed sometimes due to ads but the paid version is rock solid.

Very pleased with app. I first rated it at 4 stars, that is until I had chance to give the app a run for a week or so, which I have since done so. The only sticking point was one subscription didn't refresh and show all the available podcasts until I unsubscribed and resubscribed, which took less than a minute to do so. Other than that the app is perfect and I would recommend it to others.

This is the only podcatcher I keep coming back to. I've tried a few others, but Podcast Addict is so much sleeker and intuitive than other apps I've tried. I almost never leave reviews or pay to have ads removed from my apps, but after using this app for the last few years, I feel its worth the $4 to support the devs. Well done, to them. If you're looking for a reliable, convenient, and easily customizable podcatcher, stop looking - you just found it.

Used the free Version for some time. Now bought it, because even the free version is lightyears ahead of anybody else/any commercial product. Could have kept using the free version, but wanted to support the author. Suggestion: the app can be customized to the last detail in the settings, which can be daunting at times. Maybe provide an additional tab that gathers simple and popular settings?

There's only one way to put it, and that's that this is the best podcast app for Android available. I've tried all the others and used to use a different app until I found I couldn't do something I wanted to, so I bought Podcast Addict and not only did it let me do what I wanted.. It let me do so much more! It's the most configurable, and stable, podcast app I've used. It hasn't crashed once and that's using the beta version. Great work!

This app is very straightforward with a well-organized interface. I've been using it exclusively for almost three years and have never had trouble finding a podcast on it. The developer is very responsive and helpful and has their contact info in the settings menu. I've only had one issue in the last three years, and it was a quick fix that they walked me through effortlessly! Cannot recommend enough.

The One. Was on Pocket Casts for quite awhile until the dev sold it to NPR and the app remodel made is significantly worse. I do like that it has PC sync, yet with the new ownership, they're now on a subscription. That's two strikes. Podcast Addict has so customization, yet offers simplicity if you want it. Does what I need it to do without the fluff and annoyance.

I've been listening to podcasts regularly across 4 devices for the past 11 years. Nothing else has had the power and features of Podcast Addict. I've tuned each podcast to individually play at my preferred speed. "Volume boost" allows me to punch up those pods mastered at a lower volume so I don't need to keep fiddling with my volume. The filtered autoplay feature allows me to choose which BT devices will trigger it to start playing. Best "pro" podcast app out there.

I bought the paid 'Donate' version a while back to get rid of the endlessly scrolling Google Ad bar, but a recent update of the main Podcast Addict app is ignoring this and has restored all of the forced advertising I've paid not to see. I've just wasted about an hour online trying to find some way to get the app to go back to the way it was working before, but it won't acknowledge that I've already paid to get rid of the ads and insists that I pay a second time to remove them. I won't be doing that. What I will do is (1) find a different podcast player and (2) tell every person I know to avoid Podcast Addict like the plague.

i was planning on supporting PA because it is a genuinely good, well supported app that i use all the time. i ended up supporting it to remove the ads out of necessity, as their background activity randomly used 90% of my monthly data allowance in the space of a day (and would likely have exceeded it if i hadnt caught it in time). googling it, this issue with the embedded ads is not unique to me. i only have 4gb per month so its a bummer! puts a sour taste on an otherwise great app experience

Absolutely love this app. My phone randomly stopped working. I got the replacement in the mail and the backup feature worked perfectly. All my podcasts were in the same layout with the same settings and everything. immediately bought the pro version. This is the perfect podcast app, hands down.
