Podcast Go

I have been using Poscast Go for over a year and went premium to improve the experience. I have a question however - is anyone else experiencing a "bug" whereby the app goes into a loop when a notification comes in from another app - I get stuck into a loop where the notification pings repeatedly (and so interrupts the current podcast) and the only way to stop it is close the Qpp :-( Any help on resolving this would be greatly appreciated.

Stopping for some reason then returning the previous podcast will not resume. Even going back the "unfinished" list is fruitless. I have to start a different program then return to the previous one to start again. Very annoying when you are in and out of the vehicle.

Best podcast app I've tried, would be 5 stars if the volume would just stay the same. I'll turn volume up to full and 10 minutes later have to turn it up again. Could possibly be my phone but doesn't happen with any other apps

It doesn't have a wide selection of podcasts on its library. It's like u have to already know a podcast then type it in the search bar for it to discover that the podcast exists. I personally wish it had a big enough library for me to find what I want

It's a great experience. But I think the library is limited, and the volume just keeps reducing... really frustrating. Would really help if you can do something about it. Thanks

Great App. I love that this app is very basic. I only wish I could remove the podcasts for you section on the main page of the app.

love the variety of podcast and ability to download, but recently I have been having issues where it either won't download or just stopped all together.. hope it gets fixed, for this reason I am lowering my star review

Its an ultimate satisfying experience for me. It gets better everyday. Very cool. It's becoming my best Podcast App

Great app. Easy to use and has a wide range of podcast. Very rarely has ads. The only issue I have is sometimes it glitches and when I open a podcast it starts playing another one. Not sure if this is just for me but it is probably something to look out on. Either way, great app and highly recommend it.

Can you fix the issue with the app audio playing spontaneously and with the app closed(!)? The audio plays suddenly, and you have to use "force close" in (Android/ Samsung device) settings to turn it off. I repeat, this with the app closed, not open in the background. It is a good free podcast player, but the lack of user controls on some devices is fatal.

The app is great and all, it's just that it doesn't have a backup or profile option for if you happen to change your phone or need to reinstall the app. I'll have to start searching and resubscribing to all my favorite podcasts again. I would also love to be able to comment on the podcasts. But great job so far, there's no podcast I can't find using this app.

It became less stable as of late. The skip-ahead button disappeared when connected via Android Auto after the last set of updates. It also tends to forget where it left off playing a particular podcast and starts from the beginning when connected via Bluetooth.

I have a hard time removing podcasts. At time I get duplicate podcasts. I have removed viewed podcasts and they double download or will not delete. I don't want to replay podcasts as I drive. Fix this. All I can do next is uninstall... remove this player. Jan 15 2022. Do something.

No way to turn it off.. Audio sometimes plays unexpectedly, and audio will play even when you close the app. You have to (in Android) use "force stop", or re-open the app get control of playback. I appreciate and use the app, but this is a problem that hasn't been fixed in two years.

It does all the things I want out of a podcast app. It's been great in the past. However, the latest update broke it for me. Whenever I attempt to download a new episode, right when the download is about to finish the app either crashes and closes completely or I'm stuck on a black screen. It's been buggy before but it's gotten to the point it's unusable.

I would love to give this app the full five stars, it's easy to use, nice on the eye and so far I've found all the podcasts I've searched for -including some smaller ones in other languages. But, despite ticking the box (in preferences)) for only wanting one podcast played at a time, it keeps on playing other ones as soon as the one I am currently listening to ends. I find it incredibly frustrating! Help? Have I missed a setting for this?

Used this app for quite some time now. Just recently it has started to turn to utter garbage. The app constantly crashes when paused, losing your spot in the podcast you were listening to. Also when switching between bluetooth in my vehicle, to earbuds, or vice versa it crashes as well. Everything is up to date, and have even tried re-installing a few times. Looks like this is another app for the garbage can.

This appears to be the least worst podcast app for android. 2 or 3 stars; it's on the border. The way that it deals with playlists and subscriptions is pretty frustrating. When autoplaying, it will ignore whether or not you've already listened to an episode when deciding which to play next; this is super frustrating, for example, when you're driving and can't pick up your phone and navigate to another episode and do things that it should do for you like kick off old episodes from "my playlist".

it's ok, cleaner than others but really does not allow you to organize your podcast channels by favorite or easily show you when there is a new podcast, you have to dig in a bit. Also clearly their business strategy is to overwhelm you with so many intrusive ads that block your screen and stop your podcast, that you pay for the ad-free version but I am hesitant to support that kind of business practice. Good functionality, not user-friendly layout. sorting filters don't work.

OK overall. Some issues: (1) It sometimes takes me many tries to download an episode. I click the download button, the episode starts playing, I stop it, try to download again, it starts playing again. Annoying. (2) I can't list episodes for a podcast unless I'm online, even if I just downloaded several episodes of that podcast, which is useless if I'm on a plane or otherwise not online.

it's ok. it works to download and play my podcasts, but the interface is clunky and not user-friendly. podcasts don't automatically delete when finished, don't automatically get added to your playlist when downloaded (why else would I download them?!), amd the switch between searching for podcasts to download and your playlist is awkward. I like that it has the option of the dark background. i was able to use a feed URL to find a new podcast the other day. but overall...meh.

I like the Simplicity and I like the look. However it's difficult to figure out what podcast you actually subscribe to. They're not listed on the home screen or if they are there buried with many other possible podcast options that you are not subscribed to. This is the only podcast player I've ever found that does not have and intuitive way to manage your podcasts.

No longer usable for me, sorry. The newest update has made it only operable in portrait, not landscape - not a biggie - but 'My Playlist' is no longer sortable by date, and if you keep a mammoth list of pods on your list to catch up on, it's impossible to keep swiping down to the bottom to get to the latest. Why change a good thing? Would there be any way of enabling multiple playlists to get around this problem? Currently looking for a different player.

Pretty good podcast app. You can find new podcasts easily and there are lots of ways to customize. [edit 4/5/19] Changing from 4 stars to 1, as the app isn't working properly anymore. Been having some issues with downloaded episodes not showing as downloaded and other weirdness related to downloading. But now it won't play a downloaded podcast for more than a minute or two. It just stops, and the lock screen widget disappears too so I can't even restart the playback without getting into the phone
