I love this app. Looked for an app that, bottom line, let me focus on clean content. This was it. Other podcast apps kept front-loading content I found to be sexually suggestive. For whatevet reason, this did not. It works well, lots of options, rarely shuts down. Only one fault: would freeze up when I removed downloaded files. This seems to have been solved in the most recent update.
Podcast is pretty good, but it constantly pauses for no reason. I read some reviews and other people have complained about the same thing. I have removed this app from the battery optimization list on my phone, but the issue hasn't gone away. After I reopen the app and go to the podcast player . It is not paused or buffering it's just stopped and I have to hit play again
Scrolling doesn't work well on long lists of podcast episodes. The player seems to work fine. I downloaded a bunch of podcast episodes and they un-downloaded for some reason. I like the idea of having statistics of listening. I'm halfway through listening to Reply All and it says "90 episodes unlistened" but when I open to try to see the list of episodes, it only lists the most recent 50 even though it worked yesterday and showed me all of them. Probably going to uninstall.
I really like the app, but It can still improve, for example when subscribing to a podcast and marking all as listened, there could also be an option to mark all as not listened and in the playlist, it would be better if we could select multiple podcasts to move up or down and also to sort the podcast in the playlist based on length, date, etc. Btw, thanks
Looks great but is imperfect. I have not been using it long but my two main gripes are; 1. It does not save playback position when the app is closed 2. If you pause the app for any length of time and to return playback cannot be resumed unless you close and restart the app. Infuriating.
Powerful piece of kit, now I've got my head around the settings - wish you could have a setting to pause the pod while an alarm is sounding - I usually play pods on a bluetooth speaker while in the bath, so the ability to let any alarm ring out and then resume automatically would be a great help. Thanks in advance. EDIT Thanks, it works well, appreciate your effort- appears to have introduced occasional buffering issues on longer pods
Love the app, just a suggestion, could we see how much time is remaining for unlistened episodes for a podcast? And sometimes when I resume playback, the position gets pushed back 10-15 seconds.
I needed a simple player that made it easy to set up a playque & enjoy podcast while driving. Podcast Tracker does it for me. Easy and unclutterd GUI, easy to build a playque, easy to add/delete episodes or set as listened, all the good setting options with none of the bloat. Good job!!
If I unsubscribe from a podcast and try to subscribe back it doesn't allow me to and stops uploading new episodes for that particular podcast either way. This has been happening on this app for years on multiple different devices. I have uninstalled and am going to try to reinstall again.. I shouldn't have to do that.
You can set the episodes as listened in the calendar. Original problem not fixed yet I cannot set all the episodes as listened. Its 300+ episodes, it only sets those episodes which listed, when I press the+ button to show every episodes it doesn't change the status of the older episodes. Cannot choose more than one episodes, if I set the status of one older episodes its change but immediately goes back to the previous page where I have to choose the podcast and load back the older episodes again
I like the app and will continue to use it as it works fine for what I need. The only reason I can't give 5 stars is that at times when selecting the options between player/podcasts/calendar it is slow or unresponsive. But like I said great app
I like this app because it mirrors the apple podcast app. Switching from an iPhone to an Android was kind of confusing at first so this app is great. Sometimes the episodes won't load or it says error downloading but if you close it and reopen then try, it usually works again.
Has become my go to choice. Nicely laid out and has many features. Has all the podcasts I need. Could do with extra features, like import my files to play on app and more sleep timer options, but those are minor niggles and not many podcast apps have those features.
This app doesn't even deserve a star. Only the worst review possible. It just another form of censorship. Lame is an understatement. Pathetic Loser App is a better defintition. While I watched my search results appear, I literally watched them dissappear before my very eyes. Not to be found again in the results. Oh, it discovered the results I was looking for, but then it deleted them. Make no mistake. The guy who wrote this app has is own agenda. And freedom of speech is not it.
Really like the UI and podcast management. Only problem I have is a big one for me. I can't get FF/RW to work with bluetooth controls including android auto. Samsung S10 running Android 10.
I love the app, but I don't love that the podcasts constantly stop during play. These are downloaded files that don't need the internet. Please fix this. S10+with Android 11. Edit: disabled battery optimization. Randomly stops less, but still does.
Editing Review from 1 Star to 5. Developer listened to reviewer and fixed the app Streaming over mobile data even though user chose Download only on WiFi. In previous versions users on limited mobile data plans could see spikes in mobile data use from this app without warning. The app now warns users. Excellent improvement!
It's not a bad player but there's no way I'm going to pay 7 euro for removing your annoying ads. 3 euro is the maximum I'm willing to pay and I'm going to give it to someone else. EDIT: I don't think building an app is "a no value task". I just think you're asking too much, that's all. As for the ads, they ARE literally everywhere. On each screen, in multiple places in the lists etc.
