Would give 5 stars, when it works it's a great little app for making photo edits on the go, but recently the app has become virtually unusable due to a weird glitch. When the photos are open they randomly flicker in and out of the original version and a super high contrast version, so it's impossible to see where you're adding blur. When saved, the contrast doesn't change from the original, which is odd. I hope this gets fixed soon as this is probably the best app I've seen for adding blur!
I use this app with a Moko active stylus pen, which is an electric stylus with a fine tip like a ballpoint pen. Incredible precision! I have three suggestions prior to your releasing this app. (1) Give the user the option of working with and saving the photo in its original resolution (even if that adds blurring lag). (2) Save the edited photo to a directory in the gallery, so that it is easier to retrieve later. (3) Add a paid ad-free version, either a separate download, or in-app purchace.
I have tested many similar Apps. Your App is almost there and is the best so far. My humble request and suggestion to you is to improvise on two most important essential aspects which will make it the ultimate App is: 1) The final edited image should be saved in original quality (resolution). 2) The final edited image should be saved in original file format ( i.e. A png image should be saved as png file and it should not be converted to jpg format as it is happening now).
Absolutely perfect! I love it! It is exactly what I needed. This is because you can 'draw' where you would like the blur to be and, as soon as you lift your finger off your screen, the blur appears where you have 'drawn'. Would definitely reccomend, I LOVE IT !!
I frequent private airports and take pix for social media marketing. I need to blur tail numbers for privacy purposes. This app makes that easy. I love it. However, there does not seem to be a pay for version to get rid of the ads. Add that and this app is easily a 10 star app.
Brilliant app if you need to blur faces or content on a photo and need to do it asap. No hassles, easy to navigate and save edited photos. Yes, there are ads and a few popups, but it won't affect your overall experience.
The app is great, considering that its frer. It does it's job. But I felt a little harrassed by a stupid dominoes ad. Seems irrational I know, but it's my one of my only two or three buttons, so it's cause me to lower the score by two stars. Get rid of those specific ads and it'll be five stars! That's a promise.
I used this app one time and was immediately committed to it for life. This is my new favorite photo editor. Not only does it create top tier god like blur in photos, it has color adjustments too. Saturation, contrast, hue, the works. It even CROPS. I love this app. The only thing it doesn't have is vignette, but vignette is for losers anyway.
If your doing basic edits and just wanting to do somthing fast then this is a good one( Note. i usually use this just to blur out information people dont need to know or see) however if your expecting high quality think about this people. the pc has alot of good quality photo editors too. overall this app isnt bad.
I've tried many photo background blur apps, so far I have found this one to be the easiest to use and navigate. I haven't been able to find an option to pay for upgrade for no ads but if it's an option I'll likely do that. Highly recommend!
Easy to use and control, Does what it does well. I would like to see 2 improvements; 1. Enable a camera option so I can take an image from the camera, point blur the bits I want to blur then save or discard. 2. Provide a paid option for removal of ads.
So, when I edit a photo that I want some parts of it to be blurred out, it does well. But the main issue is the quality of the photo after it is saved. It is poor compared to my phone's resolution. I would describe it as 360p or 480p. I was expecting at least 720p or 1080p. Dont waste your time.
I'm currently using the beta of Android 11 on Pixel XL 4. After saving photos edited in the app, the image is distorted into various lines of different colors. Just thought I'd bring it to the dev attention that it needs to be worked on before the full version of Android 11 is released.
Besides the obvious use, which is to blur someone's face or entire body out of your picture (to either respect other people's privacy and image rights or to remove your annoying photo-bombing friend from your otherwise perfect selfie) the app can help you create very artsy results while editing pictures. Remove someone's name from a screenshot (respect privacy laws/avoid potential legal troubles), blur a background, blur that pimple or wrinkle away...
I googled best apps for "video" face blur..point blur was a featured alo for video blur..got into the app and no video options..this has been the theme with these apps today..they say they can. video blur but once opened there is only photo blur : Below is the article on Google featuring point blur 10 Best Apps for Blurring Faces in Photos and Videos [iPhone and ...
There was very difficult to choose Blur "Level" and "Brush Size/Eraser". Please add (Plus - Minus) button to choose above mentioned things. All are good. Hope, coming up upgrade will comes with the above mentioned features for good ratings and reviews.
Its a good app for full photos with backgrounds, but for editors like myself, trying to blur an image with a png background doesn't work. I wanted to make one side of the PNG image blurry, but after i saved the image to my photos, the background to the image was pure black and the png background was removed. Please fix this and I will reavaluate my rating.
I'm a new user and love this app. I normally take my photos in Live Mode but I was taking action shots so I had to photograph without blurring the background. Now I can edit my pics afterward to make the subject stand out. That subject would be my dog @sukiyakishiba if you're curious. This app is very user-friendly and it's now an essential part of my editing apps arsenal.
Very nice app! Needed to blur out the other swimmers in the background of a pic I took at a waterfall and it did a great job! Super easy to use and made the photo look really high def. Highly recommend!
This app is so cool and easy to use. I've been searching for an app which can blur the background of my photos for months now and i couldn't find a perfect one to the extend that i thought only built-in apps can blur photos the way i wanted. This app is so good!!!
this app is really great to blur out the photos, very easy to use. it would be better if there was erase icon for the blurring instead of undoing cos it takes a bit of ur time. Overall this app is really great.
When I open this program it doesn't show my "gallery" where all my pics are anymore. It shows odd subgroups from other apps only. It used to work. When is did, it worked great.
Does Not Anonymize!!! This seemed like a well-designed app, but after thinking I had successfully pixelated some sensitive information I just happened to zoom in **and the text was clearly visible**, not really faded that deeply either. This app Does NOT protect your privacy!
The best blurring app I tried so far. It does all that I require to blur my pic's background at differing level of strength depending on distance. Blur size is adjustable. Realy cool.
This app does what it says, it blurs your photos, it also crops them too. There's also other editing features and no ads!!! I'm really impressed with this app that's why I'm leaving a review because I wanted to not because they asked.
Not what I was looking for. Doesn't seem to be an option to auto blur - please lmk if I have missed it. Full blur can be selected but then cannot remove any of it gonna search for another app
Love this app! I write a lot of reviews, and I would blur people's faces before posting the photos online. Would you have a pro version so I don't have to see the ads? This would be great if there was!
It seems to work really well now. Except for one thing. It makes the image way larger, and I need to keep the original size. I just need to keep the thumbnails I draw small for use in my apps. But a certain web site likes images to fill a certain humongous amount of screen. I can do it by hand, but that takes a lot of time. I'm only half way through with the first image, and I have dozens more to do.
