The minut is great at what it does. I have had some issues connecting more than one device to a property and had to tweak network to get them to connect. Also it would be nice if they had an outdoor unit. The current unit is not designed for outdoors and the warranty is voided if you try to.
Only two things are missing in my opinion in this device to be awesome. 1) Utilize cellular(GSM/3G), in case if the house has lost electricity and internet. 2) A sensor close the door to use RFID Tag (or remote control) to turn on/off alarm, in case you cellphone there is no battery or to be more fast to get in / out without need to open the app every time. Hope the next version will implement it, otherwise is not efficient alarm.
Alarms totally unreliable.. 9 times out of 10 they fail to activate. I have to remove and turn off and back on and then it might only work for few hours. I then it will fail to activate again... This is the sane for two separate points. I will be returning both for refund
BEWARE!! This is a ONE USER only alarm! You have to pay per person who want to turn it on and off. TWO PEOPLE CANNOT USE THIS ALARM without paying a monthly fee! It is also totally unreliable and you can dance in front of it for minutters before it register anything. It also drops the WiFi connection very often. Stay clear, read other reviews!
The one hour dismiss never worked and my phone converted in a living alarm until I disabled this app
Great idea, great design, easy to use, privacy friendly and keeps getting new functionality!! Only four stars because of some bugs that needs fixing 😉
Bought as part of Airbnb anti party initiative and the Android app will not detect my device. Reached out to support, given a faq link, followed those directions but still not working. Ineffective customer service, product not ready for primetime.
Old device not working with new software. Support reply: "We don't give support if warranty has expired" Don't waste your money.
Ok So You decided I can no longer set the noise alarm level to the value that fits mee, which makes this Home alarm rather useless go me
How do I get my money back? I bought the product when you were a kickstarter. And now suddenly I have to pay subscription for something that was included in my product when I bought it?
App interface is confusing to navigate.
simple but effective system works all the time for me.
Delivered with 10% of the promised feature-set. Where's that IFTTT integration?
Great pls keep free options though
Allows you to maintain and document a high quality environment for guests and neighbors.
Minut's been awesome. We love it.
Okay thanks
When you promote, your iPhone screen showed more functions of this app (fancy home screen, light control...etc.), but I don't see them in this android version.
Great app! I'm able to know what's happening in my apartment and getting notified instantly. Group chat works great as well and I don't need to switch between apps to text the person I want.
Runs smoothly and looks great!
So far so good. Like the device and app working well so far. Some notifications aren't coming through is my only issue so far. Graphs seem accurate.
I bought 3 points 10 months ago and they have never worked
After almost two hours of just trying to figure out what exactly is meant to be happening during the first time setup process, it has now installed. Absolutely hopeless troubleshooting instructions, either you have to troll through their forum or send them an email. What I actually had to do was hold down the device for a little longer than their video said here in the app. Mine turned on but the light looked red and indeed it was. If you hold it down for at least a few seconds, then it'll turn purple.
Great App. Best on the market
After the last updates it doesn't work on Android at all. The moment you open it it crashes. Before those updates it worked just fine
Would ideally like to be able to set a threshold below 60dB, this would be more realistic in my case. Overall with the research I done the Device is definitely doing what's expected of it, I was very skeptical of how reliable it would be, it is slightly slow to pick up on events, but is not the worst by any means, even in situations where there can be all sorts of activity, and brief pauses it can be sharp enough, would like to be able to set any dB level threshold though.
