This app is about decoding the algorithm that Niantic uses to implement a catch rate.
The game designers calculate your catch chance using an algorithm that, despite not being publically published, we can observe the behaviour of by observing the pokemon catch animation for properly thrown pokeballs.
More than 12 months of research has shown that there is a repeating cycle within the catch mechanism and that a pokeball thrown in the wrong part of the Catch Cycle is a wasted throw.
Based upon how the pokemon reacts to the throws you make, PokeCatch Helper calculates when to throw and when not to throw. Greatly reducing the number of wasted throws and significantly increasing your chance to catch.
PokeCatch Helper does not help you to throw Great or excellent throws. You have to develop that skill on your own and there is plenty of youtube content aimed at that.
PokeCatch Helper is not suitable for fast paced gameplay (i.e. "Raid Trains") due to it being extremely time consuming to use. Many active users simply wait until they have a High IV Pokemon to catch before utilising it.
PokeCatch Helper is an overlay that sits over your screen while you're in the post raid encounter sequence in pokemon go.
It has absolutely no interaction with Pokemon Go other than providing a button to launch Pokemon Go or switch to it if it is already running and completely relies on the player interacting with the app for it's operation.
It doesn't screen read or screen shot Pokemon Go nor require login credentials.
PokeCatch Helper and DivineEntanglement have no affiliation with Niantic, Nintendo or the Pokemon Company and acknowledge the great work that these companies have done in bringing Pokemon Go to the world.
PokeCatch Helper is intended to enhance a players gameplay in Pokemon Go without interfering with the game.

Great app! My recommendations for improvement would be to be able to manually set some common intervals such as 45, 90, 120 seconds. Fit often does not work. Another recommendation would be to have a list of reference intervals for the legendaries.
I'm almost certain that this app is just a placebo effect app. I can almost get the way to use it from the video but there is no way to know when to use the 30s or 60s time frame from the selection.
The negative reviewers just don't understand the app... This is a really great resource to help with catching legendary pokemon with a limited number of balls. You definitely have to watch the videos and read the instructions to understand how it works, but it's a great project. Keep it up dev, really cool idea.
I'm giving it 4 stars nowbecause it's not 💯 percent clear on what it really does. But the dev did respond an give very good info.im thankful for that I do think that with more updates an patches it could be a top tear app. I think it needs better instructions. Maybe a youtube video showing exactly how everything works.
The app is amazing I dont know why people are giving negative review u should watch the video before using the app. First I was also thinking this app is bad but later I know how to use the app the app works perfectly after losing 2 kyurem I catch the third one and now I have 5 kyurem in my pokemon list. Thanks for this great work keep it up guys.
Not really sure what it does. Followed instruction,. Overlayed it on pokemon go. Nothing happens when you gear up to throw the ball. No help indicating a good time to throw.
Read the instructions, in DETAIL! I didn't understand this app at first, I read the description, not the instructions. Then one day I read ALL the INSTRUCTIONS. Since then I have caught every single Legendary in under 8 Poké balls. WONDERFUL! Thank you! Golden Razz, Great or better curve ball. . . Seriously read the instructions.
Works well, I get all raid Pokémon now. Yes,it will take a you a little longer to catch the Pokémon, but this makes sure you maximize your chances. It suggest getting excellent throws with the golden berry. You don't have to do either, though that will up your chances. I'm still catching Pokémon even without doing that.
Wow... No close button and nothing in the notifications area (S20 Ultra) to close it. Started the next raid with it open and couldn't access My Items to heal my mon's because of the overlay

What the hell! This app is amazing after Failing 3 times to catch rayquaza i just downloadded this app and now i have 2 rayquaza in a straight line This app is amazing. My mind just gone blowned after seeing this magic
Fantastic app. I had missed three reshiram from raids and then found this app. I caught the fourth one with only three balls. It would be earlier if i had not missed the first two balls to hit cresselia.
Really interesting! I think it would be very helpful to understand how the app works if a video describing the instructions was available
This works as described, but watch the videos until you think you understand it. It seems complicated initially, but it really isn't.
After reading the help file and watching the videos, I finally understood how to use it. The instructions are quite terrible but it was worth it.
The app works FANTASTIC. One suggestion to the developer team, you could write a better help guide with a video integrated and general be more clear. Otherwise great implementation!
Not helpful at all, confusing, doesn't actually do much. Waste of time, just look at the throw circle and it's the same thing
I'm sorry. 1 star, because I couldn't figure out how to use it. I also watched the video. What does "set the circle" mean? Maybe you can be more in depth with the instructions so it can be more useful for the average user 😊
Excellent app for solving the problem of catching legendaries. I can literally rate it 50 stars. Helped me catch Zekrom after 7 failures. Fantastic app!!!
This works real well!! I actually play pokemon go and this makes it more better and i catched my 4th mewtwo with this!! This the best app for catching stuff on to a pokeball.
This is a really great tool to help with catching five star raid Pokemon. I was a little skeptical at first, but after understanding the patterns the tool helps identify, I went from about a 50% success rate for legendary catches to 98% success rate. I have 4 Landlorus, 3 Mewtwo, 4 Dialga, 4 Palkia, 3 Zacian. I almost always catch the legendary Pokemon after raids now. I recommend this till to everyone. Just make sure you read the help and watch the instructional videos on how to use it.

The app is impossible to figure out, the instructions are in broken English, or rushed and incomplete at the least.

edit: Oh my bad i really indeed didn't realise it myself that i indeed used your app wrong. I have indeed seen it more as a when to trow to avoid agro. I'll be trying again with mewtwo.
This really works well. I've learned exact details from youtube video and was done with the perfect following, so it really got me a legendary. You need to know that you should shorten the term of holding monster ball before you throw it, and have several golden raspberry to make sure you can process until the catch. This is an indicator the level of catching possibility, not an automatic thrower. But without this, it must be harder and waste more items. Thank you for your brilliant app😀
