Pokémon: Magikarp Jump

It's definitely a great game. I just redownload it and I have a lot of memories playing it when I was a bit younger. But, the buttons aren't working correctly. The hit box for them is completely disconnected to where the actual button is and it gets annoying having to press around to try and do something. I really hope this gets fixed soon because it's a great game but this makes it very annoying to play

Absolutely brilliant. I love everything about it! Simple yet enticing gameplay, extremely well-paced progression, and a great deal of attention to small details that really bring out the world and make for a satisfying, endearing experience. I haven't found anything close to a paywall or invasive feature. I'm very glad I stumbled upon this game and definitely plan on seeing it through to the end! Creative masterpiece!

Cute idea but so many missed opportunities that could really make it fun. Gameplay is rather boring. The training would be perfect for mini games to make the game more interactive, and even jumping with the league competitions would be a lot more fun if there was a meter that moved up and down for jump power and you had to press the button at the right time for maximum jump power instead of it just being automatic.

Fun game. Easy to get into. Completely free to play. Can play it online which is the biggest plus. One small thing stopping it from making it a all around 5 stars is during the competitions, you can't see your Magikarp's Jump Level which is really infuriating to me cause I have to constantly go back to the pond area to check it's level until you can't go back. Mainly a concern when you're facing people you already faced. Small thing. Other than that, I'm enjoying it more than I thought.

I really enjoy this game. I love how it focuses on training multiple Magikarp and not just one. There are a few little problems, like how items/food may spawn on the very edges, there's a black bar of empty space on the bottom of my screen (like the aspect is wrong), and you can't leave the battle map once you hit max level. But, it is a very fun, casual game.

I had a lot of fun with this game initially but at some point it became too much of a grind. At some point you know your current Magikarp isnt strong enough but you have to max it out and keep throwing it at battles until you officially can restart. The main thing that got me was having to redo the same long chains of "battles" over and over again. It's boring, time consuming, and repetitive. I feel like it could benefit from more skips or fast forwards than it has.

This game truly NEEDS an option to be zoomed out by default on the home pond area. On tablets, you HAVE to pinch to zoom out every time which is very annoying. Some large phones would benefit from this too. Please pass this onto the dev team and have it implemented, since it would be so easy to implement and would make the game so much more enjoyable on bigger displays.

This game us very fun and although it might be repetitive, it does always provude a challenge to beat which always makes me boot up the game again and again. I have heard some people experience a white screen on the term and co ditions page, to get past this all you have to do is wait for a small while and it will eventually show! Have fun!

Played this on my old phone when it first came out. Got a new phone and kinda forgot about it. stumbled across it and redownload it remembering how fun it was and I can't even play it. After you choose your language it just goes to a blank white screen and asks about terms and conditions which I can't read. idk how long this has been an issue but it'd be awesome if it was fixed

I accidentally bypassed the glitch affecting the android users. After choosing the language and getting stuck on the white screen I opened up the app store while the game ran in the background. I read a few reviews and once I went back it allowed me to accept the terms and continue on to the game. Have not had troubles since. Hopefully it works for others as well.

The app is great and you can play with out any money being spent! My only 2 complaints are: 1. If you do want to spend money and speed up progression it costs a lot and 2. The currencies in the game are very hard to get and you always get the same rare occasions after training. I doubt you will ever update again but if you do please can you try lower prices and make the currencies easier to get? Thanks you

Very underrated game. It's well paced, and there's just enough risk to keep you on your toes. I also enjoy how simplistic it is, compared to something like Pokemon Quest. Literally anyone can pick up "Magikarp Jump" and play it, whether you're a Pokemon fan or not. And huge emphasis on being able to play the whole game without in-game purchases. It takes some patience, but you CAN save up enough diamonds to get some of the exclusive buddies and decorations. Overall, definitely worth a shot!

I really, really like this game - I didn't expect much from it, but the mechanics are nice, the slow but steady progress thru the leagues is satisfying, and all the different events are interesting and add a lot. My biggest recommendation is that I would LOVE having a lot more patterns of Magikarp to fish up, it's so easy to get all the types available before advancing to the next league, and watching them develop into new patterns is really fun.

It's a blast! Nice and simple, but with enough variety that is doesn't feel like grinding. It's a good game to pick up for 5-15 minutes every hour or three. Short enough that it doesn't become a time sink, but not too short. You spend training points to boost your Magikarp's jumping ability. You can also compete in the League, where you can win prizes! However, each Magikarp has a maximum level they can reach. Once your current Magikarp reaches its max level, it retires.

It's a really amazing and well made game. I would love to have an option to skip most of the things that appear in the screen. Leagues can get boring because after sometime playing the game, the popups of events take too long and you're not able to really do a speed run. But overall highly recommend the game.

I absolutely loved this game. I would give a five start rating however after the last Samsung mobile update the game crashes within seconds of opening it making it un-playable. I've already sent in the data logs with a description of what happens and nothing has been done. I wouldn't be so worried if I hadn't seen through other ratings that many people have experienced this issue and taken the same course of action I have. I sincerely hope an update is released fixing the stated issue.

This game is an ACTUAL free-to-play game that has no additional gimmicks. This in itself almost makes it perfect! The game is grind heavy, and while there's rewards from grinding, and alot of rewards! While that may be the case; it's just finger tapping. There's no effort required at all! To reach the end of the game and fully Master the game, you have to truly have your eyes on the prize, cause even I, as an avid Poke'mon fan have a hard time handling this repetitiveness of this game lol. That said, it's cutesy and entertaining and doesn't take much time out of the day to progress at all. So it's nearly perfect.

game keeps crashing on the s10+. I launch it and it crashes within a second or two. I've uninstalled and reinstalled so many times now and the result is the same. the game used to work fine on my old tablet. UPDATED: Since the July 3rd update, the game has been working just fine. I have updated my rating accordingly.

To me the concept is.. interesting. Overall gameplay seems simple, it's a fun little time waster, so far absolutely no ads without tapping the TV for rewards which prompts that it brings an ad, Absolutely nothing I've found needs Pay-To-Win, sure, getting support characters takes diamonds, but you get them pretty often, and if you're smart there's no issues. Overall a fun game, give it a solid 5

I've played this game before and I like it, it's a good mobile game. But recently it's impossible to play since it just opens and crashes immediately. The lack of communication and solution options by support is deserving of rating like this to hopefully make someone fix things. I like the game in my eyes it's a five star but until this issue is fixed properly it's a one.

this game is so cute, but i really wish there was more i could do with my magikarp, and i wish i could see my previous magikarp generations (beyond their cameo in the background of the pond) i'm also not sure that the skips for cutscenes (eg. random events, training, etc) work. as far as i've noticed, tapping the skip button has the same effect as tapping the text box repeatedly. i would also happily watch an ad to get coins or training points back

Really hope you're at least be able to make the game tempo faster after master league. Having to wait for the animation and fade in/out screens is killing me!!! Also, being able to skip the last battle. Hell, option to skip the whole league will be better! Pokémon skills often gets misclicked on. Wld be great if you're be able to choose an option where u can have a "are u sure?" choice before using a skill. They're hours wasted!

Game won't even load. Opens, says transmitting, and then immediately crashes. Playing on a Samsung Note 9. A lot of reveiwers with Note 9 devices are having the same issue. Hasn't been updated since October 2018. Shame, because it's a fun game. 1 Star until they acknowledge the device incompatibility or fix it. Dont give us BS about connection. Works fine on a different mobile device on the same WiFi.

Love my Magikarp! I've been playing this for a while and unfortunately after Android's Pie update on the S9, it never seem to work anymore and crashes every single time during launch. Tech support suggested that it may be connectivity, cache, or that it needs to be reinstalled for it to work but it's none of the above. Please update this game for some of us running Android 9.0 Pie.

My friend plays this game and I really wanted to play. I downloaded I tried to open and it kept crashing. I have a note 9 so I think it just might be the newest update makes it not function properly. I immediately uninstalled and reinstalled and is still doing the same thing. please fix. contacted support and they blame my connection. thanks for not updating your game. shows how much the developers care about the consumers of their games..

This game is fantastic game to just waste time on. If I am bored I always come back to this just to have some quick fun. Although it can get a bit tedious sometimes trying to fully level up the magicarp before going into the final league challenge, this is just a small problem that doesn't massively impact gameplay. Fantastic game definitely do recommend it for anyone looking for a fun time waster.

This game is really family friendly and fun! My little brother always plays this on my phone. But some improvements have to be made like adding more training points to make the game more enjoyable, decrease the waiting time when you lose one stage in the league. In the training it would just give random JP there's no instructions if you should do or tap something during training. Maybe add some minigames to make the game better. Overall, its a good game.
