Pokémon Playhouse

This game was a favorite of my kids on on their old Galaxy Tab As from 2017. But when the screen of one of them died and I replaced them with new A7 Lites, this game will not run on either one. The "Pokemon" loading screen will appear, but never changes, and if the screen is touched, the app crashes. I have tried force-quitting, uninstalling and reinstalling, deleting all cached data, deleting all stored data then uninstalling and reinstalling again, and none of it works. It installs and runs fine on my Galaxy S9. Since I'm currently running Android 10 on my phone, while these new tablets have 11, I wonder if this app needs an update to function on newer versions of the Android OS.

My daughter absolutely loves this app but we haven't been able to play if for several months. This was a 5 star app but seeing as the issues have been going on for a while and it doesn't appear like anything has been done to fix them I'm giving it a 1 simply because the app no longer works.

App won't start, crashes before loading anything. Fresh install didn't help either looks like its been broken for months from other reviews. Hopefully this gets fixed. Edit for 4/22/22 Unsure if an update came through that fixed it or if it was a setting my phone had that ended up disabling some of this app. If anyone else has issues with it crashing at launch check to see if your phone auto disabled it. I'm on a S21+ if that helps anyone who runs into the same issue.

its keeps crashing on my phone, every time i touch it. so i hate it so much :( so im gonna uninstall it, because it keeps crashing on my phone so thats the end of my story too, so it needs an update right now, so Pokemon screen comes up, but NEVER, NEVER, changes, and also i need to do my work. See Ya!!! :)

Im not giving this a 1 star bc i hate it, its bc i used to play this a long time ago, and i still remember this, but one thing i gotta say is that you gotta bring more updates, you gotta bring in more Pokemon and stuff, y'know. So please, for god sake, instead of fixing bugs alot, bring more INTERESTING updates instead of just bug fixes please. Maybe i will even return to playing this when it gets new Pokemon update or something, but for now, aint playin it

It was pretty cute and fun to play at first, but... It feels repetitive. Especially because there weren't many things to do in the first place. I would recommend some built in minigames, or quests you can do daily to earn some sort of in game currency (like pokebucks?) to buy more Pokemon. And or buy books. And more customization to the trainer would be nice, like more clothing options etc... But kinda nice to play if your just bored.

This is a wonderful game for younger kids/preschoolers/toddlers. There are so many games that help children learn via puzzles, books and creating music for example. Plus children get to take care of and nurture their baby Pokémon. My children love this game. Highly recommend.

The game was great at 1st for my 4yr old. Then all of a sudden it just stops working. Sometimes it will load sometimes it doesn't get past the initial screen, but you can hear the music in the background. It's just super glitchy now. :(

This app doesn't work. When launched it opens to a white screen and nothing else. It's not loading at all no matter how long you sit and wait. I Uninstalled and reinstalled and still had the same issues.

Since the new update this game gets stuck on the logo with music if you press anywhere the game crashes. When this isn't the case this games a solid 4/5 star and would recommend. I have one very upset daughter, tried uninstalling no luck. Tried downloading again in a hope it was fixed. Still doesn't load. Very disappointing, has the devs abandoned the game? (07/10/2021)

The game is wonderful, endless possibilities. Best for so many little kids but I still play it to this day! It's very addictive and can expand imaginations. The models are so chibi and the game is so great for any occasion. But there is one problem. For people who get bored easily this game is not for you but I'm not that kind of person and I can play it until forever.

My 5yo loves this app. It's a welcome change from the stress of trying to play Pokemon Go. He even wants his parents to download it to share in the joy. On his device, the app sometimes shows a black screen. Clearly a bug. On my device, the app I just installed won't even launch. Once we figure out these bugs, we would for sure give this five stars. It's a gentle, calming, well animated, fun, engaging, and makes gathering mons accessible for the littles

1/14/2022 app will not even launch!!! I uninstalled, it reinstalled, it and it will not launch at all! Phone has plenty of processing power and ram to run it! Hope this bug will be fixed soon!

I love this game! I just wish I could explore more rooms. But so,its a very nice game. I would be happy if there was 100 rooms. Try to make like a room where the pokemon friends can dance. I also did not see Charizard in this game so please add more rooms and characters. I like how I can hatch eggs and get new characters! I am playing with the pokemon friends too.

A good game - when it works. Same problem as other people (I'm using Android), it won't get past the loading screen 90% of the time. If it was fixed, definitely 5 stars.

Was able to play it once, and now I can't open the app. I've tried uninstalling, and reinstalling multiple times and it's still not working. My son is so disappointed that this app won't get fixed.

This is a star example of an excellent children's app. No ads, simple games and stories, and voiceover. Thanks, Pokemon, for another great piece to share with my kids. You know your audience too well.

This is my 2 year old brother's favorite game and it was my favorite game when i was little. It is helping my brother learn about pokemon and his fav is Salandit. His fav games are,"Search the Stars", and the interactive stories. At bedtime he's saying, "Just one more egg!" He loves it and it's a good game.

This game is unplayable at the moment it won't even launch on my daughter's tablet. It launched on my phone but crashed when she tried leaving the opening area and now it won't launch on my phone either. PLEASE fix this she wants to play it so bad and it's perfect for her age :(

Great game for young children, my son won't be old enough to play this for a while but this sets a good example of what to look for when he reaches the appropriate stage of his development. Definitely needs to add subtitles for parents and older children.

Though I am not a 5 year old anylonger, even I enjoy the game for my free time and I can say it is perfect for children. The artstyle is cute and the games are very easy to understand. I am certain kids will love this game!

My 2 year old son and I love this game. The games are fun and hatching eggs is a nice mystery. My only issue with it is the constant nagging to tap on an activity. My son likes to tap on the pokemon in the rooms to hear them speak. It's annoying to hear "Let's go play with some pokemon!" every 10 seconds when he just wants to tap on the pokemon right in front of him.

This game is cute, but its repetitive. I thought this game was for slightly older age reccomendation, but no. This game is good, but i wish there was more activities, like you can buy activities by playing the current minigames and getting money by doing that. I reccomend this game for kids slightly over 4 year old Pokemon fans.

Downloaded this for my son. It started out great and now won't load up. It keeps crashing. Looking at recent reviews, it is an issue that hasn't been fixed. I reinstalled several times, no game loading

Kids loved playing this app, but recently it stopped working. Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it still crashes immediately. Kids are gutted.
