PokerStars Poker: Texas Holdem

This is the most unbelievable app I have ever played. Once you reach some level of success, the app puts you down a guaranteed losing path to equalized the field. You will go on a downswing of losing to the most outrageous all-in shoves when you have 80% equity, not just one time, but 5 times in a row within 2 hours. I realize this can happen, but when it's every other week and you lose all of your profits from that period, it is highly suspicious.

This game makes sure that if you go all in with the best hand, you're guaranteed to lose that hand. I've never in my life been beaten so many times with 1 or 2 outer on the river. Also when you purchase chips, they either don't give you all of them or they charge double what the actual game buy in says.

Absolutely the worst app of any kind on the web. This site has more bugs than a roach motel! At a moment's notice, you can lose control and have your hand automatically folded. Other bugs include not bring able to see rhe hand you are asked to bet on. Don't waste your time with these losers.

I used to be able to play when I lived in US then they stopped, then I moved to South Africa was able to play for cash then all of a sudden that stopped but I could still play with "play money" now that has stopped. So unless you live in Europe or UK don't bother downloading this app cause you'll be barred.

Way too much flukey stuff happens on this app. Split pots where 2 players have the nuts, or the exact same hand. Everything outdraws AA, poor play is constantly rewarded. If you have a pocket pair, 90% of the time someone else has one too. Pokerstars is a sham.

Lite is a understatement, no access to most games (scoop), difficult to chat and no graphs.

I use Pokerstars all the time, have never had a hitch with it. I have a new Chromebook and the app is so strange...when I open it, it comes up like a vertical rectangle in the middle of my screen. The tables are teeny tiny, I can barely see one line of the chat window, I often end up calling a bet when I don't mean to because the box for fold is replaced with the call button if players act quickly....I really really hate it. Please Pokerstars...chromebook users want more!!

Weird coincidence that every tournament you're dealt bad cards and the "real people" for opponents happen to get great cards everytime.. biggest money grab.

The app does not work right in large font begging me to buy chips. I have to continually switch to small font to click the dismisses box, then back to larger font again.

Play money games are completely rigged against real players! Games are full of computer programmed bots that know the outcome of the cards on board and will call with absolute garbage because they know they will win. 100% rigged to make players lose chips in order to force them to buy more!

It's great that there doesn't seem to be any bots. There's your 2 stars. The unbelievable amount of hands that hit on this site are completely outlandish. If you're playing a hand, you better have trips or better. The board pairs 2 out of 3 flops; a flush or straight draw probably 80% of the time. One suckout after another...

This game was my favorite phone game of all time. Played this game on my phone for many years. Yesterday it force updated me and the new lobby is horrible. I loved the clean and simple look of the lobby. Now it's not possible to view cash game tables. You can only have it auto seat. This is no good because sometimes you need to switch tables to avoid the same players over and over again. Please fix this issue or allow us to opt out of this new lobby display.

BS. The site has a disclaimer against assuming site results are indicative of live results. That should tell you: 1) The site is either corrupt, or can be corrupted; 2) The developers and operators know this, and 3) They do not stand behind their product. Once this becomes apparent, there's no reason to take them at their word about anything, including the site's integrity. A brief time playing the app will make clear that this is the case. It's absolutely ludicrous. Avoid.

New version is awful. You ruined a simple interface. Now it requires numerous taps and screens to find the game you want. Very illogical navigation. No way to sort for open tables. You select your game and you're then assigned a table all by yourself. Stupid. You can no longer see a list of open tables and see how many players are seated at each table. Can't filter for specific stakes. This sorry "update" has rendered the app useless to me.

I like the game but after like a month it won't let me play! It says they don't offer play money games in my area! So I guess if you don't play real money games you don't get to play at all! B.S. so any winning you had built up are lost! Just to try and get you to buy chips! Won't come back!

This app has a few bugs right now. When a notification to spin the wheel for free chips is tapped, the app doesn't open, there's merely a black box. You have to close that then tap the installed app to execute the free spin. There should be an option to shut off just the annoying music w/out shutting off game play sounds. On occasion your hole cards are not visible until you bet. Regardless of your internet connection, the timer unnecessarily times out. Buy in gap is too wide (Hold 'em).

Stopped working. I have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times. Still doesn not work. I am using a Chromebook. Worked for 2 years then stopped. I am not happy

App crashes after about 45 minutes of play. As other reviews have pointed out, the rate of you getting decent cards is really low. Plus, I've seen some crazy run outs that you just don't normally see. Bad streaks do happen, but I played one night for like 2 hrs and never paired the board. Also, you can't see your cards after you fold them and you can't see previous hands (you can read the text for the winning hand). Either commit to fixing this app or just remove it all together. The amount of frustration it causes isn't worth it. 'Pokerstars: Play' is a much higher quality app, but it's missing some highly desirable features.

i had no problem with the old version except i couldn't play for real money

Turned the app on a few days ago and no longer showed the updated graphics and I was no longer able to make comments on the site. App works well until you exit the app, then the phone freezes up for @10 minutes EVERY TIME YOU EXIT. Removed the app to reinstall and maybe fix the problem but now it won't reinstall. I did enjoy playing here even though it's obvious that they don't use a Random Number Generator and the results are apparently rigged or predetermined. Never put real $ on this site.
