Adding a payment method doesn't work; you have to load a gift card, which is inconvenient and makes business lunches difficult. I've tried this multiple times over the past 3 months and on two separate phones, so it's an app issue. Hope you guys can fix it. Being able to use Google Pay would be great, too.
Awful, I can't change orders. I also cannot add a card to be billed directly. Every attempt does not go through and my card is not saved. Whats more frustrating is that I can add funds one time while setting up the card, but only in the increments of 25$ that are allowed, and after my card is still not saved. So I'm left with money leftover every time I order. And the most irritating part is after reinstalling to fix the issue, there's no sign in option. I have to make a new account. Bs.
First of all, you cannot add a payment method no matter how hard you try. So I had no choice but to select pre-load the account BUT guess what? You don't get the confirmation that your credit card has been charged or that your account has been successfully loaded! And I repeated the pre-load 2 additional times after that and now I'm left with $75 credit that I never wanted to begin with. Time to dispute those fraudulent charges.
Definitely not a user friendly app. Others have said they aren't able to add a card but you can, it just doesn't look like it works. I've used it many times but it definitely isn't user friendly. I'm actually trying it now and it says there's no store close to the exact address I put in for one of their stores.
Functionality to save a credit card doesn't work - you enter card details and then it just goes back to the "payment method: none" screen (regardless of whether you choose the Bill Instantly or refill option). Doesn't let you order without entering a credit card, so as far as I can tell there's no way to actually place an order.
Who ever developed this app needs to be fired. Everytime I place an order through the app, it takes 5 crashes for the order to actually go through. Last time I placed an order through the app, I received an email confirmation stating the restaurant received my order, however upon arrived to pick-up my food, they informed me that they never received my order. It's also extremely annoying that I have to re-enter my credit card information everytime I open the app.
I've entered my credit card multiple times (though I'd rather PayPal be an option!), but it won't save it. I'm certainly not linking my bank account! I'd give this 0 stars if possible for not performing its basic function - placing an order - and not giving me a payment method that feels secure. Useless.
Like someone else, I could not chose the location closest to me (literally a block away), the only choices were so far away (Southern California or Seattle, and I am in Mountain View). Too bad, app could have been promising otherwise.
Seriously, what's the point of am ordering app when it's only usable for one store? update:. app works as it should now, changed to 5 stars. Update 2: around a month ago (6/2021) the app stopped working properly, again. As soon as I click at the reward section it crashes back to home screen.
The card scanning function doesn't work, and when I put the number in myself, the Bill Me instantly function didn't work either. The app seems pretty buggy. It definitely made ordering more cumbersome than it needed to be.
"Bill Me Instantly" option still does not work when linking a credit card. It does not save the card info, so there's no way to pay with the app unless you load a minimum of $25. I see other reviewers have run into this problem as well. Pretty shady.
While I don't have too many issues with ordering, I am disappointed with the rewards program. At no point does it say that points expire but as I grew closer to VIP level, I don't reach it because I am constantly losing points. I was at 1 point less than 300 points away, now I am over 500.
There are no locations listed near me in the app despite the fact that one is less than a mile away from where I live. Instead, it says the closest one is 80+ miles away. I downloaded it with high hopes and ended up deleting it within five minutes.
So many bugs, constant errors. Had to redo my order 3 times, then after I had added my card said there was no card on file and had to back out of everything and start over yet again. Find someone to do QA for you since you obviously haven't, and if you have, fire your QA department. Immediately uninstalled after using the $5 credit.
It's been inconsistent. I think I've placed 1 out of three orders successfully on the app. I was excited to see the order again feature but then it locked up and wouldn't load anything.
Don't want to curse it (current app rating: 2⭐), but it worked perfectly fine 🤷. Maybe it's been recently updated. Much faster than ordering on their website.
Very difficult logging in. I was silly in prepaying on the app card and now I have money but no access. The place is great but not the app. They have no control over it so don't go there expecting help. This app is worthless for the amazing place.
This is one of the worst apps, but the food is so good. Doesn't save previous orders, doesn't save loaded credit cards for payment and crashes regularly.
For some reason can't order for a letter time if at the current time the store isn't open yet for the day. Also cannot save my CC for bill instantly. I can add funds to my account, but it won't save the CC info to bill instantly. Only use for the app currently is for rewards.
If you have an android, you are not able to enter credit card information and therefore cannot order in advance or pay through the app on site. The only thing this app can do is allow you to use reward points. I gave it 2 stars for that reason only. If your app won't take money, you've failed the business you're providing a service to.
The app does not work well at all. More bugs than an ant hill. I've been using the website instead which works better, but still not perfectly.
It is really annoying that i'm trying to order and then the app says "List is empty Something went wrong". I'm really sorry but 1 star is the value of this app, please fix these bugs in the next release. Thanks
Worked fine for me for a while but it logged me out and won't let me log back in and I had a lot of points racked up I was almost to my $5 off again. Which is really upsetting cuz I really like this restaurant.
The app will not save my card info so i have to add a minimum of $25 in credit to be able to order. It also doesn't always send my order to the store even after I've paid for it.
It would be great if I could use it. Adding my credit card info and choosing my payment preference just sends me back to the CHANGE PAYMENT screen. Over and over.
Unistalling the app after the app made an unauthorized $25 charge to my card. It will not allow you to bypass the screen without being charged, no customer service number and no way to cancel so no telling when I will receive a refund. Never again, customer lost.
Needs an update, this app is awful and has been for a long time. Payment methods don't work, half of the time the locations cause an error. Just uninstalled until they get this fixed.
Stupid. None of the buttons work. Can't order, can't click anything because the app doesnt respond. Might as well take it off the play store since it's literally serving no purpose.
No matter how many times I add my credit card, it never appears in payment methods, not is there any error message. The receipt email says to reply if there are problems, bit nobody ever answers.
Rubbish app. One of the worst I've ever used. Cannot add a payment method (card), cannot order without one. Then it let me order without one, but who knows who's card was charged. Still cannot see a payment method saved and the app doesn't tell you what card was charged in the transaction list. Many times, the app doesn't work right.
