Not accurate. Showed me the correct orientation at first but when i came back to the app a few minutes later it was off by 2.5 hours and has not corrected itself. Seems pretty useless.
Has potential. Seems off though with night sky stars in corelation to my polar scope and this app. I just use it for accurate time and gps now. Again gas potential. I like the interface. Please fix dev.
Does not match the orientation of the illuminated polar scope in my telescope...off by hours as other reviewers have said. Worthless.
Only gave it 1 star because 0 stars wasnt an option. Polaris position is WAY off, totally useless app. Dont waste your time
hours seems ok but star representation is not 6hours early (when at 12 noon, it is around 18) ..caused me trouble during clear nights :(...verified gps coordinates and they were ok
inaccurate polar time, off by hours. don't waste your time. I now use synscaninit app.
Product requires GPS. Needs manual GPS coordinate input. Uninstalled immediately, unuseable.
Good, need setting option.
Totally gave me wrong information. Uninstalled!
No Southern pole so useless for me. App should be called 'North Polar Alignment'.
It is always wrong. Don't bother.
Off by 3 hrs
I've checked this against four other apps, and this one is "off" by about four hours (fast). It does seem to be consistent, so I guess you could manually make the adjustment. I like the design...please fix the math.
This app reads coordinates very very slowly or not at all depending on who knows what.
Looks great, any chance of a southern hemisphere version?
Puts the dot at around 10 oclock, when two other apps put it at 6 oclock.
Great app. First one that you don't neet active GPS conection
Very lightweight and useful app. Love the north pointer. However, I think there is a bug related to daylight saving time, and the calculated position is incorrect. The SAM Console tool shows a different position of Polaris, and it's off by 1 hour
