App is mostly OK, but has two annoying issues: 1) if you hold training near the right edge of the screen and drag it just a bit, it is moved to the next week without warning and looks like it is deleted. Many other apps do this properly for years (e.g. show icon what will happen, need to drag more). 2) It will activate Spotify for no good reason, even when Flow is not opened. Sometimes it enough to unlock the phone. workaround: disable Flow notification access.
Constantly loses connection to sensor, doesn't reconnect and is therefore absolutely useless. It's not enough, that the app has only basic functionality, even this little bit doesn't work. One of the worst apps I've ever had. As the polar beat app is able to keep the connection more or less stable and at least reconnects, this really seems an issue with just polar flow. Overall the sensor seems to be okay, but they put zero effort into their apps.
This app was great, now isn't great at all after the most recent 'update'. Now my watch won't sync correctly, and the app keeps crashing. Please sort this issue quickly. I find the adverts completely irrelevant for my level of fitness. After the most recent update I find the app less easy to navigate, but will eventually get used to it as it's the only app I can use with my watch.
I am thoroughly enjoying this app together with the most beautiful peculiar Polar Watch. Best decision I made buying the Polar Watch. It is Super light extremely resistant to scratches and the app is user friendly, a delight to synchronize as it's very fast... The app is amazing... I love the information available whenever one is synchronizing. I am positive that it offers more features w. r. t. your workouts, sleep patterns and suggests where one may be lacking. Polar is now part of me 4life!!
The new update is useless. My watch won't sync anymore and it was functioning great before the update. I am so annoyed. Moreover since the update, my phone battery drainage is incredible. I have been a fan of Polar throughout the years but if this update isn't resolved ASAP. I am removing Polar Flow and Polar Beat for my H10. I will go somewhere else. What a disappointment.
It's bare bones but I like it. Not full of adds and is free unlike Fitbit. Its not feature packed like others. I'd say it's a no messing tracker app. I think that's good but others might not. Works flawless with my Polar unite and Nokia XR20. You can obviously use a multitude of others like Garmin or fossil, Samsung ect ect but the hardware isn't that accurate with the data it gathers hence the app will then only display that data..... Looking at you Mobvoi.
I am no longer able to get any Sleep Plus metrics after updating this app since November of last year. I contacted Polar directly through email and was told to send in my watch. I paid out of pocket to send it in and received a different watch but am still having the same issue. I would like to talk to a person instead of just emailing back and forth.
The outlook is a little old, but the biggest problem is absence of activity in some days. Heart rate records are normal, but activity is zero. Before it was only for Mondays, but now it is for random days - one day out of whole week is zero activity. Upd. I've written a e-mail about the problem to the support team, but after one week there is still no any answer.
The app hasn't been able to sync since the most recent update. Whenever I open the app the sync symbol appears briefly then disappears and the app freezes. I really like this app and use it daily. I hope they find a fix soon. Uninstalled and reinstalled App. Works great again.
This app should be the "light" version of the website but is nothing compared to the web.A lot of very important functionality, metrics and charts are missing and/or not working. For instance the weight chart is not working (showing wrong graphics or not showing at all) for more than one year and has not been fixed yet.A lot of connection issues with watches (i.e. Vantage V2, M400, M600) too which undermines a correct, reliable and timely data sync. Also many compatibility issues with third par
This app was pretty good. Untill the last update. Since that I am not able to synchronize my watch (vantage v) at all via bluetooth. I tried clearing the apps cache, renew settings, reinstall... everything with no effect. The only possible way of conection is fixed ine via cable and PC.
The app doesn't tell when there is an update available - all updates prevent connecting watches to the app, even paired ones. Back button doesn't take you back from mostly any menu, but rather out of the whole app. Menus make little sense due to many intertwined settings being behind different ones. It's the little things. The app devs should use or even test their product themselves every once in a while, as right now they clearly do not.
Switching from training to testing immediately disconnects the verity sense, therefore fitness test is impossible. Incredible bug. Your answers below is wrong, in polar beat (android) there is no "fitness test" option.
The app is good for users of Polar devices, but the Reports feature is not available, forcing users to go to the Polar Flow website for reports - not handy at all. I cannot understand such big miss, so much so that the app and the website have the same interface and design. Come on Polar, please make the effort...
App itself is ok for my level of use, and originaly I gave it 5 stars, but now sync lasts forever. I tought it was slow because of my previous phone, but even wot the latest generation high end phone sync lastes for more then 15 - 20 minutes. To make things even worst if phone goes to sleep sync will stop, so I need to wait und keep it awake until sync is complete. This is soooo annoying.
Comprehensive info and flawless in operation. Having moved from Polar competitor (the one starting with G), everything about this app is slicker, more intuitive and so much more detailed. Others may disagree but I'm impressed and haven't been let down once yet.
It does what it's intended to do. I have noticed that sometimes lose connectivity with polar or polar devices, but always worked for me, reinstalling the app, reset to factory settings on the device from general settings>about your watch and try the pairing again
Since the update this app doesn't work. I reset my password on the website but the app won't accept it. Tried uninstall, restart phone. Nothing. Looking for a different app thats not so frustrating. Too bad. I've used this app for years and worked great. Sometimes an update is not such a good thing.
Edit: the issue causing me to give the app a lower score has been fixed. For those of you having issues keeping the app connected to your watch, disable all battery saving features on your phone. Google it for your brand of phone, since different manufacturers do battery saving different ways.
Syncing with m430 watch takes forever... The syncing wheel is turning endlessly, same with the watch. Latest and gratest firmware and app versions. Android 10. App functionality is from pre-2000 era, - you can not even manually enter your weight, you need special BT scales for that!
Doesn't work properly with latest Google phone. The app just hangs in a "forever sync" mode when looking for exercises to record. What a piece of junk. Edit: also the customer care is terrible
Best app and general ecosystem for active people. I hope they keep respecting the simplicity of the app, and related watches, and don't fall under current "more is better" trends that we see on other manufacturers. I use it with Polar Vantage V and and the connection and sync between watch and phone has always been perfect and superlong range. Keep up the good work.
