This application allows you to carry out a precise stationing of the mount also excellent for astrophotographers and works in both celestial poles.
In the menu settings or button settings you can choose to exclude the gps and enter customized coordinates and / or even a particular date and time so as to know in a given place the exact position of the polar (northern hemisphere) or sigma octantis (southern hemisphere).
Therefore also useful to know the culmination of the polar on 10/10/2006 for a particular place directly on the field without having to resort to third applications.
Once the position has been calculated, the polar image will be shown exactly as it should be set in the polar telescope.

Does what it needs to do. But I have a few minor issues: I don't like the fact that it's full screen and there is no toggle to disable it. There is a tip button in the about section but all it does is open a share option for the text "Write the email text here". Developer responded about something I misunderstood. Thanks for that. Would still appreciate the app not to be fullscreen.
The bottom third of my display is empty space (on a 18:9 screen) and the scope view is tiny compared to other options, otherwise it would be perfect. It should have an iOptron representation imo but the size of the dial is the reason I cannot use this over other rougher app because at the end of the day it's a tool and I can actually see what marker Polaris is on.
Good overall. Like that it supports HA and Octans position in the southern hemisphere. It would be good if it supported Android night mode to darken the white buttons and the navigation bar, which is always on.
Great, however. When you select the view through telescope it actually flips the southern polaris the way it would look not through the scope. Had me stumped for a few weeks as to why I could not line it up... if that could be fixed it would be great!
Presents the info needed for polar aligning in an easy format to make setting up my mount and aligning that little bit easier. I upgraded to the pro but free version does what you need too.
Useless app. Not useful with polar scopes from Astro-Physics, Losmandy and several others. My review is precise and accurate. The developer is rude, dismissive and confrontational. Not one of the offered polar scope views matches the Astro-Physics RAPAS (Right Angle Polar Alignment Scope.) Not even remotely close. The "New Skywatcher" reticule is closest, but is flipped top to bottom, making it useless. The Bresser reticule is closest to the Losmandy and Astro-Physics PASSIL4 reticules and is useable, but not ideal. The developer needs to improve the app and come up with a new attitude. I'll update my reviews if and when this app, and the developer, have earned it.
I bought the app thinking it did one thing only to find it does another. My problem, not the app's, but I don't have a use for this unfortunately. No need for a refund. It's a good app. I will eventually use it I'm sure.
Very good, does exactly as stated. I would give five stars if you could polar align during the day for solar photography.

Polaris is at the correct position when the view through polar scope is not selected but the constellations are not and visaversa when the option is selected. The 2 stars in the dipper that point at polaris don't.
The app provides incorrect time. Verify with Stellarium and you will be able to find the error margin. Mine is minus 30 minutes. HA is off by 30 minutes.
I watched a demonstration of this app on YouTube but it doesn't have as many features down at the bottom of the screen and you can't change the colour from red to green. Is this because I am using Android phone and not an iPhone?
Does exactly what I need for polar alignment. (Latitude/longitude coordinates via gps, visual reference for exact polar alignment.) Now I just need a clear night lol

In all fairness the App does what the author promises it's just not what I hoped for a paid app . I was issued a full refund so I don't think the author is intentionally misleading. Just hoped for something different.
I contacted the developer several days ago but as he has not responded, I'm giving this app a 1 star review. I'm a beginner with telescopes and need a user guide. There isn't one so this app has no value to me.
Pritty much useless in the southern hemisphere.. just like all polar finders . Can't change redical type etc etc .. must only have telescopes in the northern hemisphere I reackon
Simple app and has never let me down always able to get great pictures based off this tool.
Very fast GPS lock and streamlined layout. What you see is what you get. It was money well spent.
It seems to be legit. I use it for my time, gps aswell. Overall just speeds up setup.

I have rhe gps working, and my coordinates are showing up, but I can't get this app to do anything. And there are no instructions oe tutorials that I can find.
