Needs updating, not every function works on my P50UPA2031A. The TV itself refuses TO, 'WORK WITH ALEXA' and the app won't show the program guide and says EPG is not found. Annoying too that the app is LANSCAPE only. It would get another star if it could be switched to PORTRAIT mode and maybe 5 stars if the EPG was fixed and the TV worked with Alexa as claimed. . Other than that the app works reasonably well with my Samsung S20+ for various basic functions. Certainly better than some remotes.
Useless App. TV wont connect to Alexa even though it says so on the box. All remotes are active in settings. I have a smart home and this device is the only 1 I've had a problem with. As with some of the reviews I've read: app wont go past scanning for channels therefore I cant connect it to alexa. So it's not alexa ready really is it? Given that I use for streaming & gaming not normal tv services. I'm not getting freeview or whatever just so I can use this feature! :-/ fix this!!!!
I use it as a remote as my one broken. It's annoying to use every time I open it it starts searching for channels and I have to disconnect form my WiFi and and connect again every single time but it works as a remote even if it's annoying.
I'm struggling with this. I wanted to be able to control the TV remotely (while I'm at work) but no joy. If I'm already connected via my home wifi why can't it make the same connection remotely. Plenty of other devices allow you to connect from outside the house.
It's on my Polaroid Smart TV, no features currently work. The only feature I need is to be able to cast to it, when I hit that button it force closes. Polaroid went from leading one industry to failing many.
Googled a replacement remote. Noticed this. Hadn't thought about an app.. Top bit ov kit.. Does what itsays on the tin. Minimal setup and very easy to use.. Cant understand all the negative reviews. I dont see how you can go wrong..
Amazing application but it's in desperate need of an update. Most of the functions are still working faultlessly but it now won't fetch the episode guide. Please developer tweak the code and bring this application back to life and back to 5 stars.
Amazing application, easy to use, feature rich. Tip for those users having connection issues, make sure external remote is enabled in your tv settings menu.
How in hell guys working at this kind of companies sometimes dont realise some stupid mistakes. Sure you can do better! I dont use my tv for normal tv channels or do I have any kind of antenna ( I dont want it) so a scan comes with no channels and the silly app get stuck on getting channel list because there's no option to go over this. Serious guys Btw ( comparing this polaroid with our other LG smart tv is nothing less than joke). You got another return here guys next Monday ;)
Absolutely useless app. I guess buying a cheaper tv is my fault and this is what you get, very disappointed as cannot connect to my smart home.
Absolute Garbage, same as Polaroid TV. Doesn't connect even though both are on sane network. Won't even run "demo". No wonder Polaroid is going down in flames.
Broken since Android Pie update. Won't go past episode guide screen. Now completely useless.
why cant i get past the channel list screen it just keeps scanning... so cant mirror my phone or other features youve just replaced a £1000 Tv in my home. Reply ASAP !
No longer works with my TV. Maybe app needs updating. So I have uninstalled it for now.
This app works really well for me. Particularly using the smart aspect of my tv.
Cannot get beyond 'getting Channel list'. Therefore the app is useless to me.
unusable app, unfortunately lost my remote and was in need of a back up, very let down
I cannot find how to connect this to alexa. There is no option like all the other smart centres.

totally useless app, don't waste your time downloading it.
Use screen poloroid applications for security just touch conversion of screen to poloroid viewing.

Doesn't let you bypass the add channel screen. We don't get a TV signal (just use digital subscription) but I wanted to use my phone as a remote for the Netflix and YouTube apps, also for volume control. The pictures look exactly like what I want to do, but I only get access to the add TV channel screen. Frustrating
