How it works: To make a report, press the "new report" button and the camera will automatically slide to a screen with report information for you to fill. Once you are done, you can save the report and then view it by going back to the menu and pressing "load report". You can also export your report as a .txt file or let the app automatically screenshot it before/after you save it. It's that simple!

**To find your exported images or text files, simply navigate to where the app is installed on your phone and go to the data folder. An example path would be "Device Storage/Android/data/com.Sempiternal.PNL/files", or if you have an SD card it would be "SD Card/data/com.Sempiternal.PNL/files".

It's ok but would like to see less restrictions on # of people and vehicle s involved also would love to see more documents appear then just this one and more character s in notes

Just downloaded the app and said it's an old version and may not work properly. Any chance of an update?
wow simple interface good for private investor work since you must gather evidence the same way ya know this was the last career choice as a delivery driver i ever thought possible i was already wearing a hand made body cam why not?

Police Notes, by Sempiternal Studios, is an excellent App for Report Writing in the Law Enforcement and Private Security Industries. It has customizable PDF output of the Reports, which allow to change the badge to your liking, and has a neat table style assistance. The Author is very polite and responds as promptly as possible, providing fast solutions to user requests. This is definitely my App for Report Writing. For those who need the file path of the directory where the PDF Output Reports and Pictures are stored, it is at the bottom of the opening screen of the App. You will need to navigate there using a File Manager of your choice. I created a shortcut to that directory for easier access in my device.
I think it would be better if it had an option to upload photos from our device as well as using the camera.
Great app. It may be user error. Where does the report export too? I can't find the report after I push export in any of my files. It's only in the App. Thanks.
This app has major issues. It fails to load properly on multiple brands of devices. It actually crashed a factory issued Sony Xperia Z3 (D6616) on loading. The user interface, while the user can change the colors, has issues. The developer has tried to make the form responsive to screen size, it comes across as a bloated mess. The attempts to make input easier for the user, actually can be a living nightmare. The form would automatically move to the next field if you accidentally hit the screen. I have yet to find a back button. To be honest, I am always troubled when I see the Unity Engine screen on loading. An app like this doesn't need the overkill, overhead of a library like Unity. I understand that this is a work in progress, and appreciate the developer has not decided to add ads to cover costs.

I love the ability this gives me to take notes about my incidents. However. Can we find a way so i can rotate the info screen to landscape when i rotate my screen???? If so itll get the extra star from me!
Looking at this could you add the ability to add photos to the report?
This would be a great app, however the developer decided that it would be best to only input data in a specific order. This creates an officer safety issue when you should be looking at the person your dealing with and not your phone. It also will not allow you to input a person's first name unless you can find a way to have your keyboard open as you start a new record. Worthless as it is. 2 Stars as I like the concept.
While filling in the fields, there is a need for a "next" button to move thru the fields. Then loading the saved report, does not work. If these two things were present, this would be an awesome app. After working the developer, I have changed my rating to a five star. Navigating through the fields are easier now that you can hit enter, done or ok; simply put, like hitting tab. Very good job!
Great app. for working in the field with suspects, in addition to this I ask for an update to the app. It was added and I am very much so pleased these guys at sempiternal studios have done an excellent job and I'm hoping they will get us a pro version to this one, ounce again guys thanks for the help to us in the streets. I havent installed it yet but can I have multiple people added in this app because I am in a RP group
Would be perfect if it had the ability to rotate the screen veiw from portrait to landscape. I would definitely re-download if this was added.
