Presently, there is no national database to identify abusive officers or to collect information about police misconduct. Our investigations also demonstrate that citizens are frequently denied the opportunity to report complaints. These factors were the impetus for the creation of both the Policeabuse.com website (1994) and the newly developed Policeabuse.com app (2016). Policeabuse.com app designers have created a system that will seamlessly deliver complaints of police misconduct to the appropriate authorities. The Policeabuse.com app allows the user to report police misconduct directly to the Dept. of Justice. In emergency mode the app instantly records up to 4 minutes of video and uploads the data to a secure server. Text and email alerts are sent to the user’s friends and family with the user’s location mapped. Video sent to the Policeabuse.com server is safe and cannot be taken or destroyed by the police even if the user’s phone is confiscated. The app also features:

I'm learning my way around the app and it keeps crashing every 30ish seconds. On a Galaxy S10+ running current firmware.
Only 3 stars, still have yet to see the results but excellent idea!!! Im part of POLICE THE POLICE in my neighborhood. If i get ANY kind of help then it could be a 5 star app...

You need to change this app while the intension is good ..it should be annonymous which means no log in reporting if the dev wants more input reply to post
I have had lot of misc harrasment from the stinnett TX police dept even an illegal break in from someone that was payed by someone that was in the dept. this app is very helpful for this type of lawless town.

This app has been extremely helpful in my filing a complaint against the police in my area. I uploaded videos of my evidence and was contacted for assistance by a licensed private investigator who's started work on my case. The emergency alert system is easy to use and gives my family assurance that if I get stopped I can immediately let them know that I could be in danger. I recommend this to anyone who has been in an altercation with police and is seeking justice.
Haven't been able to use my direct message. Every time i go there, it directs me back to the subscription part. I push the " buy now" button, and it tells me I'm already subscribed, then goes back to homepage
This is a step in the right direction. The information accumulated showing officers with a bad history must be made readily available to others who could become the next victim! If that's available to the poorest among us, I'll give it 5 stars.
With all that's going on in the U.S. and especially in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where I reside, I can't afford to lose my life or the life of my children over poor judgement and communication issues by people of authority.

I'm probably going to update this review but my experience so far has been ok. I am trying to resolve a 🚘 ticket issue. 📝 are mostly great so the hope is there. They are responsive. I wasn't sure if anyone would follow through during Covid but they did ☎. However, in the conversation I didn't think it was nice of them to drop a line "if you're not lying." Details matter. I think it would also help if there's an option to select which PI calls you back - with police work bkg or not.
