It's ok if you don't mind constant ads. I got 6 ads in just the first 10 levels! I don't like paying to remove ads so when they are as frequent as this, I don't find the game as enjoyable. I might reinstall in a few months to see if the problem is fixed.
You can turn off sound for the app, but you left sound on for adds. This is a CHOICE made by the developer. It very much can be turned off. You chose to leave it on so you can squeeze out a few extra bucks by inconveniencing you player base. This is greed pure and simple and I won't play your game because of it. You get 1 star and deserve 1 star.
Screen calibration is terrible, for such a good game. When you move your finger, the shapes fly around centimetres away from it. Not ideal for fast & accurate block placement :/
Slow piece movements, continually crashes, sometimes a brief note of music pops up for absolutely no reason, the tray for the block pieces is gray while the pieces themselves are pastels. Too hard to see the pieces. Too bad, because otherwise, it's a good app.
Too many ads. I get it that ads is what keeps these games afloat. But the game stops itself after *every single puzzle* to show an add. There's more time waiting through ads than there is gameplay. Save yourself from waisting your time.
Way, way, way too many ads. Get a puzzle right in 10 seconds, sit through a 30 second ad then get the next puzzle finished quickly and sit through ANOTHER 30 second ad. Fun game but ridiculous amount of ads.
Super solid tangram game. Only banner ads from what I've seen, lots of content. A lot of levels are maybe a little too simple, but overall I'm very satisfied.
No indication for the relative sizes of the pieces is annoying. On the bottom screen, they all look about the same size but when you put them on the play field, some pieces suddenly expand to fill half the field which utterly destroys whatever pattern I thought they rest were going to be in so I have to redo the entire puzzle up to that point.
So far, It's fun. If you turn off the WiFi, you won't get any ads. My main complaint is that some grey pieces blend into the background. I always have this moment when I realize I'm missing a piece that I didn't notice because it was grey on a grey background. The pieces look like wallpaper. It would be cool if they had other styles like wood or metal, but that's just my opinion. I love the snap in place option. Maybe make the pieces more vibrant in colour.
Really liked the game. Only £0.79 to remove ads is worthwhile. I do have some suggestions for the devs - some colours merge into the background. The sound settings do not save so you have to set it every time. Would be good if it remembered what you were doing so when you reopen the game you can open the level you were on. On the 'double' levels all the blocks are sorted between the two at the bottom so it makes them easier to solve.
One of the best, relaxing games I've ever played! My whole family plays, we love the options to do different levels. There are a ton of ads, however it's worth the. 99¢ to go ad free. I've never paid for ANYTHING in apps, however nothings free. You pay hundreds of dollars for cable and get commercials. App developers need to get paid also. So you get ads. This is the only game worth the minimal fee to pay. Thank you so much!!!
The game play is good, and I enjoy it, but... if I turn off sounds, why must i do it again each time I return to the game (even if i never closed it)? It would be good to choose to default to the game you want (tangrams, not blocks, classic vs the other shapes). I'd also appreciate if the can't-skip commercials were less than 30 seconds long (and they would respect the choice to have sound turned off!!!).
I love this game, but it definitely needs more of the square puzzles. Those are by far my favorite, and this is one of the only versions of Tangram that I've found that has the square puzzles, so PLEASE ADD MORE SQUARE PUZZLES!! Other than that, the only drawback is the amount of ads, and the fact that half of the ads don't close when you click on the 'x'; Instead they take you to the product's page no matter how carefully you click the 'x' to close it. But overall awesome game, thanks!!
Fun, easy to use, progressive difficulty, and colorful! My only issue is I haven't found a puzzle with rotating pieces. For those who want the extra difficulty of rotation in tangrams might not find it here. It's not a deal breaker for me though. Thank you for the variety and simplicity! The game is nearly perfect! Add in rotation and you've got winner, winner, chicken dinner! 🥇 🐔 🌟
My biggest problem is that the designers seem to have no grasp of color theory whatsoever. The colors of the pieces clash badly, and thus the final image is ugly, taking away from the sense of accomplishment. Also the colors of the pieces are not distinct enough from the background so I find myself constantly not seeing one or more of them one the piece pallet. No I am not colorblind, in case anyone was wondering.
So much fun and VERY addictive. This game is well designed and thoughtful. Starts out deceptively simple, and before you know it, you're solving higher level problems. If you already know how to do tangrams, you can jump to the higher levels. The only con is that the shapes and the spaces for the used shapes are not differentiated enough. That's a minor quibble and I'm sure I'll get used to it. I just wish I'd found this game while the pandemic had me housebound.
Blocktris is a decent boredom buster... But the touch control (or lack there of) for Tangrams when it looks like the time it takes to solve a puzzle is what gives you rewards is pretty awful. Also the app chews through your battery and drains it fairly quick!!! Just a heads up, it's not a game you will want to play unless you are near to or attached to a charge cord!
The game itself is enjoyable. But I am amending my original review because I recently paid for the ad free version of this but now I have a bouncing icon in the top left corner that turns out to be an ad I can watch for extras of some sort. Well, I don't want to watch ads, that's why I paid for the ad free version. And if the icon just sat there it would be one thing but it bounces up and down the whole time I'm playing and it's really annoying.
The game is great. The colours are not so great. The pale lilac background (where the peces are displayed) makes it very difficult to see the pieces. A dark background would make it so much easier to see the pieces, especially when there are 14+ pieces to be used in any given puzzle.
It's a great fun tangrams game with hundreds of levels and unintrusive ads, but with one problem: when I hit the button to get a free hint by watching an ad, sometimes it just doesn't work, there seems to be some kind of random delay until I can get an ad again, is this a glitch or intentional, and if it's intentional, why is it not indicated anywhere?
I like the game just fine! Great to kill time. There's just one complain I have. In blocktrist there should be an undo button and an auto save of progress. If you accidentally press the back button all your progress is gone. If you get a call the same... it can be frustrating
Really like the game, but it would be much better if there was a story of progress save sync. My phone was destroyed and when it came to reinstalling the app on the replacement phone, all previously made progress was lost. I have to start from scratch witch is obnoxious.
I like this app a lot. The only reason it's not 5 stars is because after almost every puzzle there's an ad that you have to click out of 3x almost immediately upon finishing a puzzle so that when you go to click for the next puzzle you end up clicking the ad and going to the play store. Frustrating when I don't want to switch the airplane mode
