Edit: Thanks to the developers for their quick response to the earlier review (and email reply to my feedback). This is the only app that syncs flawlessly with multiple services like Microsoft To Do, Google etc. It is the best app for task-based pomodoro sessions and those productivity boosters! I wish they worked on making it more intuitive in design and animations (e.g., see the scheme of Engross app). Overall, a great app that does what it says on the label.

Good integration with ToDooist, and I really like the option to minimize the clock and have it be always-on-top on a PC. Additionally, I like the level of compatibility it offers across browser plug-ins, operating systems, via web page, and across different device types. My suggested improvements, if anything, would be to add app blocking, white noise, and an additional mode in which the timer can simply be launched without having to create or access a specific task to assign it to,

It was working fine in beginning, but after a while it no longer records my work time. Even though I use pomodoros, I can't find it's record in logs. So when I uninstall and reinstall the app, it works again for a few days, then again same problem occurs. I have provided all the permission for the app. But I don't know why this keeps on happening. Other than that, this app is the best.

After trying a few pomodoro apps, I feel like I've found the best for me. The PomoDone app model is to integrate into your preferred ToDo app rather than try to replicate the same functionality. This strikes me as exactly right - no pomodoro app can approach the ease and functionality of a good todo app, and PomoDone integrates with almost all of them. It does so flawlessly, is cross-platform and syncs in real time. (The pomodoro that shows up on my webapp is ticking away at exactly the same spot on my phone. Fantastic.) A lot of the reviews note the crappy UI and - in this - I kinda' agree. It is not beautiful. However, when you put this in context - Windows app, web app and integrations that are all slick and feature rich - PomoDone has "pomodone" a pretty fantastic job.

The main feature (Pomodoro timer) doesn't do long breaks on Android. I expected a long break after four working intervals (which seems to be supported in the web version), but it gave me only 5 minutes. Besides that, the app is slow, and doesn't preserve state between closing and reopening (the clock shows some strange numbers and hangs, and some strange session is recorded).

This App is so good for integrations, but they just need to put the timer up front in the UI. I just want to hit the button and go and decide what I did later, but currently I need to find the task up front, which is a serious pain and a severe mark on an app that would otherwise be perfect for what it does.

The underlying idea is absolutely fantastic - integrate a feature complete pomdoro timer with the task management tool of your choice. The WebApp does implement this feature set pretty well, even though there are some major pain points - e.g. adding Log entries manually is very cumbersome and the integration with some services is buggy. Sadly enough the Android App is quite terrible (compared to the WebApp), and I ended up using the WebApp on the phone despite it not integrating into the underlying OS very well: 1. The Android App does not implement sleep / power saving properly and requires exceptions from the Android Battery Management System. But if the exception is granted the battery is drained dramatically by the app, so much that the phone runs very hot in my pocket 2. The Project/Task view is unusable - everytime a project is folded and unfolded again all tasks in the project are added to the list of tasks again. This means the list keeps growing and growing and this is persisted beyoned a app restart. The only fix is to clear the app cache and let it re-download the tasks from the connected task management tools (Asana in this case) 3. No configuration of Timer Alarm (e.g. use vibration only) 4. Cannot turn off screen to run in background because the alarms work inconsitently. Even if the app is listed as a priority app in the Do-not-Disturb exception list, the timer alarms don't get through

I really love the concept behind the app....it's really good to see all my tasks and timer integrated into this app... But the main issue with this app is that it's not rich in UI it's too dull and plain looking... no animations no drop down bar etc... It's all there in a junk Please fix this in upcoming update (s) EDIT- Thanks for the quick reply...i will surely be looking for the next update

Auto rotation feature in the mobile app is annoying. Also the app is missing some features to add music before starting the task and adding music before the break time is not possible. If the app has the feature to add different music for the task and the break time before starting the task it will act as a reminder to complete the task.

*good* app but overall polish is missing not just in this app but all other apps associated with pomodone, this is a real shame as the integrations work really well but the user experience is so bad that trying to use the app is so painful at times that it's close to pointless. I do hope the devs look at improving the ui and general user experience. It does not fill you with confidence using this app and connecting third party services when it appears that the attention to detail is missing..

Very good idea and nice execution. Integrations are working very well. However, 1) The UI doesnt look very nice. 2) In the Windows 10 app, adding a task with just the date but no time dowsn't seem to be possible. Is that the case? EDIT - Thanks for the quick reply. Please try and improve the UI to make it more easy to use.

Utter Garbage. Stops is between, doesn't have a good interface. A very passive app which stops on it's own and doesn't work well. I don't usually write reviews but this app just was too much and I'm having this issues almost every day. Only Good thing is ADs 😐 I had the lite version and I regret having it.

The phone app doesn't sync with the web and windows desktop ones. The timer button of the chrome extension has stopped working with the Todoist web app. But, the team is working hard and communicating professionally. Willing to give the guys more time to fix the issues.

Lin. S. Dec 24, 2019

As others have said the UI is lacking as well as the integrations. Missing attention to detail and in general needs more polish. It "works" but definitely not the best experience. Is buggy and still needs some major improvements.Hope they can fix these issues and continue to improve further.

The app has great potential and integrating services like Google calendar and tasks is a great plus. However it lacks some work in the interface and rethinking a little the workflow. Also adding some visuals to the statistics will be very helpful.

Trello integration is a feature. But the essential qualities of a pomodoro timer isn't there. Merely a vibrate sound which I never hear when engrossed in work. Enabling the sound makes horrible constant ticking sounds instead. Uninstalling for now.

This app help me focus on my work. Very useful to work in 5, 15, 25 minutes, you can split your big work to small task to complete, it is easier. The app also integrate with your already app like Wunderlist, Trello ... Many many extensions are free. Very happy with free license and I will consider subscription license in future. Thanks author!!

Doesn't sync the tasks from my Microsoft Todo list even though it's linked. Rosponse: There's an App called Microsoft Todo. I think that's one only todo app the have on playstore. I've linked the app but when i add the task in pomodone using the Add icon it gives me a blank screen. Nor does it sync any tasks from my List from the Todo app.

Nei. C. May 1, 2020

Good platform integration with a basic Pomodoro function. Still needs some elaboration in presentation and gamification...e.g incentives, garden grows, levels or points etc. Can be optional but for personal use it's still too plain to get enthusiasm even if functioning well.

Pri. Apr 28, 2020

Tremendously bad app. Sluggish as hell. Wasted a good amount of time of thinking it would be a good app to work with. Tried only because it had multi device syncing capability. But nope! Its slow as snail. Uninstalling with big frustration.

Stu. C. Jan 24, 2021

Desktop good. App has been terrible. But today its working. It has alway been unstable. Randomly freezing and just useless. But its working now. I hope as a result of an upgrade. If it does then 5* await.

Dan. F. Dec 27, 2019

Hello, I have a question. Based on your earlier answers you said a sound on timer start is possible. However, I only have the option for a looped sound or No Sound. How can I have a sound played once on timer start? Regarding your response, you've already helped someone through this format regarding what I just mentioned. So I would appreciate if you did me the same courtesy and provide a public response to this issue.

Nik. Jan 28, 2022

Very hard to navigate, the settings don't get saved, no in-app guidance. The desktop version is very good though

And. P. Nov 16, 2018

Brilliant to have the Trello integration but the UI is really disappointing. If you could replicate the UI of 'engross' with a proper amoled black theme etc you'd be on to a real winner!!

*This application has changed my life* I really appreciate this app. It helps me to sync and organise my work for maximum productivity. This application has literally changed my life. I downloaded this app in my Windows and it has truly made me a better and more productive version of myself. Highly recommend this.

Awesome app! This is my go to pomodoro timer. I have it integrated with Trello and Todoist and it works like a charm. If offers a lot of flexibility and tons of stats. Great work!

Kus. S. Apr 18, 2021

Update :- Now the app seems to work, syncs perfectly with the web, no need to uninstall and reinstall after 4-5 days, for it to sync (work properly), but when clicking on current stats it shows stale data and doesn't update at all just loads indefinitely.
