Pomodoro Timer Pro

Pomodoro Timer is a great tool that can help you boost your productivity and quality of your work. The Pomodoro Technique® was found in the 80's and it continues to be one of the most popular time management techniques being used today.
And it's really simple:1.) Create a list of things to accomplish2.) Pick one task to work on3.) Pomodoro will start 25 minute timer4.) Work on your task until timer runs out5.) Take a short 3-5 minute break, relax your body and mind6.) Every 4 Pomodoros take a longer break (10-30 minutes)

One Pomodoro™ lasts only 25 minutes and you should avoid all interruptions during it. Yes, your mails, phone calls and all the other things can wait few more minutes. Taking frequent breaks allow the brain to keep fresh and stay focused. This makes the Pomodoro Technique® a simple and effective method of finishing a task as quickly as possible.

The Pomodoro Timer Pro is the ultimate weapon in your battle with time. You can add multiple tasks, their estimates, see the history and much more. You can always clearly see how much time you have left. The style of this app was inspired by the original pomodoro "kitchen" timer.

It probably defeats the purpose by some people's opinions, but I would like to see a pause feature that would also be accessable from the pull down menu and lock screen. And a stat for how many pauses and for how long - it could be called "interrupt time". Good app though asides from that. Functionality is pretty solid, and a good selection of sounds to choose from.

Helpful and true to the concept. I immediately bought the full version. I will upgrade my rating to 5 stars when there is a persistent alarm/vibration at the end if the work cycle--forcing me to turn it off. I'm sure I'm not the only one listening to music while working. The alarm (sound and, more importantly, the vibration) is too brief to register with me while I'm concentrating, even with my phone in my pocket.

It is not that expensive and actually makes your life easier. You can creat tasks and assign the number of pomodoro to those tasks. So, you can plan your time and tasks at the same time. However, when I close the screen while pomodoro is running when the time runs out it doesn't ring or vibrate. But when I unlock the screen it suddenly rings. Is it kinda bug or normal?

I love the app and it has improved my productivity a ton. The only reason I'm giving it a 4 stars is due to not being able to break the tasks up by days as opposed to an extremely long list of pomodoros. If each day had a blank start where you can plan the pomodoros for the day, that'd be great...like having a calendar within the app. Other than that, the features are awesome!

Great. Just a fantastic tool. Procrastination prevents self-actualization and worse. Simple as that. Fix it and watch your life change. Only wish there were a feature to allow shutdown of all notifications automatically during a pomodoro. Otherwise, simple, elegant, and effective. Thank you with deepest gratitude for helping me to improve myself.

The app should allow most of the interaction through the notification bar, which is accessible from the lock screen. Forcing the user to unlock the phone and open the app every time? It ruins the user's flow, and misses the whole purpose of the app. I don't consider it a thoughtful design. Please keep me away from the distraction! Please! I like the pretty UI. But I hate the fact that I have to look at the e screen every 30min. (I like other aspects of the app as well. But the missing notification control is a deal breaker.)

I have forever had issues with my time management and productivity. The Pomodoro technique has been around since the late 80s or early 90s, I just discovered it through a therapist friend of mine who suggested it. It has been absolutely incredible for me as far as time management, increase productivity, not only allowing me to start projects but work strategically to finish them. I had been using the timer on my phone, but this app with its integrated list, has been wonderful and indispensable!

Great app, haven't had any issues using it and find it helps my work productivity. I do think it could be useful to have a settings option for a slider adjustment on the timer once a pomo is started, even if only to increase the time (within a set amount is 5min variable?). For those of us who do get side tracked and want to make up 5 or 10 minutes without starting a new pomo.. Love your work!

Used this app on and off for a few years now. Still a great app. No complaints but i would like to suggest a feature. It would be really helpful to be able to change the expected pomodoro time per task rather than one choice for all tasks. Some tasks require more or less time than others and it would be nice not having to go to settings to change after choosing a task.

This app is great to help you pace yourself when studying. I have been using this to study for 25 mins continuously and break for 5 mins. I repeat the process until i am done with my assigned reading or assignments. It also smartly suggests a long break after a number of successive rounds. Big kudos to the team that developed the product. It would be nice to have multi device sync.

This application really looks very nice, easy to use, makes me concentrate and demonstrates my family that I'm vert busy at the moment. It is the pomodoro technique itself, with very small amount of improvements. However, after I played with the settings, pomodoro started to stop after 15 minutes and I was not able to bring it back in a usual way. Finally, I had to clean the app's local cache to make it work and I lost all the tasks list. Sorry to write all this. I think the app would be better if I were able to change settings without any fear to lose everything. Two stars because the time bug in the timer app is a show-stopper. Update: even after reset cache reset, pomodoro suggests to take a cake after 15 minutes. Awful.

It is a cute ap; easy and simple to use. I like how simple it looks but I would like to be able change the appearance, themes, colors, etc. Also, I think it would be great if the times were free of choice aside their recomendations. There was no effort put into the development of the stats. Everything else is great, I don't regret buying it and I like using it.

It's adequate , but not much improved over a normal timer (like the one that comes with your phone in the clock app). Some features that would make it better (and thus worth paying for) are: 1. when you hit "back" from the timing screen, it should take you to the main menu instead of closing the app entirely 2. the option to set tasks to repeat daily; i.e. write for 4 pomodoros each day. As it stands now, you need to create a new task manually each day 3. the option to archive completed tasks

Love the app! Has a lot of the features that you would expect for doing pomodoros. Has a straightforward and organized interface. The only things that feel missing is being able to change the duration of specific tasks, since it can only be changed globally for all of them. Also for long-term tasks like a large project it would be good to set more than 8 required pomodoros. With those two features added I think the app would be perfect.

Aid. T. Nov 18, 2018

The simple stats are nice but I would really like advanced stats too so that you can view a graph of finished pomodoros over a time period (week, month, etc). Also there are minor bugs that occur if you try to change a break or pomodoro length in a task with already completed pomodoros, this could be fixed by showing the total time done in a task as well as the completed pomodoros.

For a paid app, the features could be better. it would be nice to have graphs for the metrics, especially since the icon itself is a graph. As projects get more tasks, there simply is not a good way to handle them with this app. Search, sort, filter, groups , task expirations, archives, and suggestions based on historic tasks by time of day would go a long way to improve this.

Love the app, though i often play music from my phone and don't check my phone while working and the alarm/ringing doesn't pause my music to let me know the 25 minutes is up which I think would be a great addition to the program! **note: only have it pause other apps when the ringing is happening, not the ticking.

This app really helps me focus and not procrastinate, when I start to get distracted the clicker reminds me to focus again. The premium is good, you get to name and group segments together if you know how long something is supposed to take and also some custom settings for timers. Overall great app!! P.S. for my fellow procrastinators out there remember that it's always better to be done early than on time.

Jes. L. Jun 30, 2020

It's simple to use and minimalistic. I like that I can put my to do list somewhere it won't get shuffled into other things and that it encourages me to think about how long it'll take. I like that it asks me if I want to start a short break, long break or skip my break. It's just versatile enough to fit my needs but not so complicated that I get distracted by how complicated it is.

Jac. G. Mar 13, 2021

Easy to use, good selection of sounds and control over time/volume to fine tune to one's needs. Statistics are very helpful, first off I was shocked to find out how little time I actually spend working, or conversely, how much I can get done when using time efficiently. Also I realized that my impression of how much I was working on a given day wasn't very accurate. Still, I wish we could get a more detailed readout of pomodoros by e.g. time of day, or in a graph or at least export the raw data.

A.. L. Dec 7, 2020

Very limited tweaking and accessibility features you'd expect to have from a paid app. Would be great if there's options while in locked screen, take back time (in case you spaced out), re-remind that the timer has ended (again, in case you space out), count how much time has ellapsed since it ended (like a negative timer), and probably many other features that jave been mentioned in the comments. It's not that different from the lite version. Giving it 2 stars to see if it can get attention.

T. J. Dec 3, 2018

I was shocked that the only useful feature the pro has over the light version is that the pro tells you the total number of time units you completed for the day. That's it! It doesnt even break it down as to what specific tasks were completed!!! Just the total number!!! So I would stick with the light version and if you want more features than what the light version has to offer , look elsewhere. Edit: changed to 1 star. No statistics to show how you're doing for the week (only the month which is worthless). For an expensive paid version? Look elsewhere to an app where the developers at least care and read these reviews and implement user needs. This is beyond awful for a paid app. Really an insult to customers.

Dee. M. Apr 20, 2019

I really wish the developers took time to update the app. Presently it has very limited advantage over the free version and there's tons of room for improvement. The task organization section should at least allow completed tasks to be moved to a separate section rather than outright deleting them. The statistics should be more customizable in terms of time. Hope they see this

I like the app as a minimalist timer, but its really not a Pro level tool. The PAID version is better than lite, so im glad to support dev. Needs some level of list/task management to be PRO anything. For what it does, its a very nice decently organized simple timer. A bit overpriced for the functionality... but it works well, and supports Family Library, which is other reason I purchased.

I’m happy I bought the paid version of this highly-useful and good-looking app. It’s a pleasure to use. I just wish there was an option to repeat reminders (time to get back to work reminders, for example). Edit: After using this app for a few months now, I still like it a lot but I am removing a star because it seems to take a lot of power to run for how simple it is. Secondly, if I could see what tasks I spent my time on the stats it would be a lot more useful. I would like to see that in the future if it's possible. It's still an app that I recommend!
