Pool Pal

Perfect pools are a picnic with the power of Pool Pal! Save time and money by keeping your pool water properly balanced. Enter goals and test results and Pool Pal will recommend chemical quantities.
Tracks free chlorine, bromine, hydrogen peroxide, pH, total alkalinity, calcium hardness, stabilizer, salt, borates, water temperature, backwashing, CC, filter cleaning, flow, pressure, and TDS.

Supports multiple pools and includes a volume calculator.

Pool Pal displays the Langelier Saturation Index (LSI) and the Calcite Saturation Index (CSI) for current readings and goals. These indices can be affected by water temperature, so PoolPal makes it easy to adjust your goals for perfectly balanced water.

Great app! I've used this for 6 years. First problem I've had... it quit opening. Now I'm installing and reinstalling, but I will lose all the data from those 6 years. I wish the data date could be modified so if you don't input data until the next day, the date could be corrected.

Seems to work well. Doesn't save chemical standards for multiple pools....so you have to make sure settings are correct on each pool profile. Makes quick work for calculations. Needs an update for newer phones....has some minor bugs to work out but very handy app overall.

Doesn't seem to work on my Samsung Galaxy S20. Keep getting a warning message to update the software, but no update is there. Also entering readings is kind of cumbersome, have to click on the what i want to enter, click on the default number, back space that off, then add my results.

App works great, but it appears it has been neglected. Last update 2014? UI is outdated, and missing common features such as syncing between devices. Unfortunately, while being neglected, it still seems to be the best app for balancing a pool.

I have been using this for a few seasons and works exactly as advertised. Use the Taylor K6000 tester to get the values, plug'em in and make the changes. So simple and I have never had a water quality problem.

Doesnt have a flashy modern GUI, but does what it says it does and is easy to use. If it had an email log/export data features it would be a five star, but I'm still happy without that. Thanks!

easy to use, easy to read, no ads, and contrary to a previous review, it does allow you to put in water measurement (it will calculate water volume for you based on pool size).

This has no ads, and no login. Even though it hasn't been updated in a really long time and there's errors, it's still works for me. It's still the best pool calculator for me in 2021

Has helped me time and time again to keep and maintain my salt pool. It takes the guesswork of how many pounds of salt that I need in the spring. It's a really good app.

Seems to work well. Good suggestions on making adjustments. Data entry could be smoothed out some. It's free!

This app is awesome. No joke... It does everything it needs to and includes no bs. No ads, no weird permissions just an app that does what it says it's going to. A rarity these days.

I absolutely love this app. I was having trouble balancing my pool water but this app is so easy to use. Now my pool water is perfectly balanced and crystal clear.

I love it. My only request is that I measure in volume not by weight. Would be nice if it could convert by density instead of me doing it manually.

Love it except...i wish the amounts to add were in cups not by weight and I have a salt pool and cant seem to figure out how to put my source of chlorine as generated...also for ph down i wish the app would let me put in chemical name like ph down rather than acid or whatnot because its the chemical ph down that I use The app keeps good records, lets you add multiple pools and hottubs, simple format

Easy interface, excellent trend log. You must enter a Total Alkalinity (TA) value or pH corrections will be erroneous. Excellent response from developer.

says it was built for older version look for update then error pops up didn't calculate anything correctly I have a S9

cant really use it as it null pointer exceptions and does not function properly on newer android devices.

Antiquated. Hasn't been updated in almost a decade. Should be removed from Play Store.

Jak. B. May 8, 2019

Dated looking app but it does everything you want in a pool calculator for free.

Dav. P. Jun 26, 2019

No idea if it works, everything is US based. If your pool is anywhere else in the world this app is useless.

This app along with my Taylor test kit does a good job keeping my pool sparkling clean, I love it!!!

Everything you need to maintain your pool. Very easy to use. This has been my go-to app for 5 years.

Change chlorine "Type" to "Shock" to distinguish it from tablets or other slow sources of hypochlorite. I showed the app to a customer and that confused him.
