Poop Tracker - Toilet Log

Track and analyse your bowel movements easily with Poop Tracker, then print out your stool analysis to quickly and easily share this data with your doctor.

Ever wonder what your bowel movements mean and how they affect your health? Curious to find out how frequently you suffer from bowel conditions like constipation, diarrhea, or bloody stool? Well now tracking your bowel movements is easier than ever.

Find out what consistency, color, frequency, and urgency means for your health by tracking and analyzing these stats over time, then use that data to determine if any issues, such as IBS, or crohn's are present.

Poop Tracker uses the Bristol Stool Scale to determine the quality of your poop and allows you to track and analyze your bowel movement data across all of your log entries.

Poop Tracker features include:

- Easily and quickly log every poop you take.

- Track poop stats like colour, Stool type (Bristol Stool Scale), urgency, size, bloody stool, pain, and custom notes. These metrics can be important to determine if you have any bowel problems such as diarrhea, constipation, ibs (irritable bowel syndrome), colitis, crohn's disease or any other chronic condition.

- Log 'No Poop' days and leave custom notes when you're constipated.

- View and modify previous poop log entries with our comprehensive calendar view of your stool history.

- Export or Import a CSV data file of all of your stool entries so your data can be saved and restored, or sent to your healthcare provider.

- View a data breakdown and graph of your stool statistics over time including metrics like when your bowel movements happen and a day by day history (premium feature).

Why track your bowel movements?

Tracking bowel movements can be a useful tool to gauge your stool health over time and potentially uncover any chronic problems you might have such as: IBS (Irritable bowel syndrome), Crohn's disease, Colitis, Celiac disease, Chronic Diarrhea, or Constipation by noticing patterns and irregularities in your stool that you may not have noticed otherwise.

If you already suffer from a chronic bowel condition, you can also benefit from maintaining a poop log as it allows you to monitor the severity of your symptoms and progression of these life altering diseases over time and share this data quickly and easily with your doctor.

About the Bristol Stool Scale:

The Bristol stool scale, or BSF scale is a diagnostic medical tool designed to classify the form of human stool into seven categories. It is used in both clinical and experimental fields. It is sometimes referred to in the UK as the Meyers scale. This is the scale used to track 'Type' in Poop Tracker because it is the most developed standard in many countries for categorizing feces.

It does what it needs to do, but too many ads... And a simple mode to just add dates would be convenient for those who don't want to enter all the details. At the moment it takes 10 taps to add one calendar entry!!! Two taps to enter each detail (type, color, size, making it 6 taps just for those).

Does what it needs to, but even if you pay for no ads, it still covers the entire screen with an Ad every time you open it. The pop up advertises their expensive monthly subscription. Wouldn't have paid for ad free if I knew this.

Great app for daily use. Nice done. I just want to have an option to choose 2 or 3 types of bowel for one entry but not two entries.

It's a wonderful app. I've used it every day since the beginning of 2020. My only issues with it are that you can't record mixed "results". For example, if it's not all the same consistency I am forced to choose whatever it is mostly comprised of. Same goes for color. You ever have those times where it's half watery/half solid, or half light brown/half dark brown? It's not very accommodating for those instances. Overall it's a fantastic app, but I'd like more versatility as mentioned.

Responsive developer - every time the app has crashed (twice) I've sent a bug report and a few days later there's an update that fixes my issue. The developer clearly understands the importance of this information to those of us with bowel conditions and acts swiftly to make sure issues are resolved. To the developer: Thank you. This I a wonderful, easy to use tool and I appreciate the graphs and charts that make it easy to show my doctor my progress.

I feel relieved that I found a good tracker finally. I attempted to use Cara Care but it was way too in depth. I appreciate the concisety of this app. It's straight to the point, it shows trends, and the calendar even gives you a little graphic for each day you have a BM. Makes it easier to cross reference my days with the food I ate prior based on my other food tracker app (MFP).

Great app! The calendar view in particular is very useful for seeing a history to correlate with changes in diet, work stress, etc. Only reason I did not give it four stars is because pressing the export button for me (on the latest version on a Pixel 2 phone) does not do anything. Edit: the developers fixed the problem and export works again now. Thank you!

For the most part, this app is good. It gives illustrations of each stool type per the Bristol Stool Scale, as well as a description and the meaning of each type. It also gives the option to put if you didn't pass any stools on a certain day. However, I think this app could be improved if an "unknown" option was added for unsure stool types.

Update: I really wish there was a way for it to show up on your history when you only leave a note. Right now you have to log a BM for it to show. It is has a very clear/ organized UI and I love that about it. I struggle with IBD and I have finally found an app to keep up with my belly issues. I love the feature with the calendar so you can quickly look and see your weekly use. I also love that I can add notes which is very important for me. Thank you for making such a helpful app!!

App is easy to use and helpful if you are having problems, I agree with a previous reviewer that a function to add more info about each movement as they can be a combination of types, also the length of time it takes and maybe a pain scale and type of blood. I would resubscribe if it wasn't for every bill I pay rising.

Excellent for its purpose. Easy to use, allows for editing entries if you miss a day, has little icons for pain or urgency, and you can easily see patterns when you look over your history. My only complaint is the colour key. Off- colour poo can be an important warning sign someone might miss because it's not bright red or mustard yellow as shown. Otherwise love the app. Free version suits my needs but will probably subscribe just to support devs.

I have had many problems with poop in my life like going a week without going and not remembering the last time I pooped and this helps so much! I can see when my body is being more healthy and when it's not doing so good My only beef with it is there used to be small ads very not noticeable but then out of the blue a ad would pop up with sound for at least 5 seconds at a time before you could save but when checking this app in the play store I see they muted the ads! Problem solved very happy:)
