Popcorn: SG Movie Showtimes

I had to uninstall. Too bad, this app does some things very well, it offers movie information for all of Singapore in a fairly organized way. But the ad management is out of control. Ads pop up when the app is not open and interfere with other uses of your phone or the app. This app does not own my phone, thank you, stay in your lane Popcorn. Hope someone else will do this better because there is a very good core idea here. Just so annoying from a UX perpsective.

1) other than confusing between pop up movies and new movie, 2)previously u have moving advertising on Spider verse at the search tab, it take so slow to load up, jus wanting to search a movie , and making the whole screen slowdown with animated and sounds on the background. 3) at the movie tab part, now it take more than 10sec to load up all the picture, i am using a 6gig ram phone , and not to mention the moving picture, yes it look nice and sleak but jus a movie picture is good enough.

Need some updates to address a particular bug. Main annoyance is when i see a movie listing (say movie A) and press back, it went into an ad with 2 options "open" or "close" and if i choose "close", the page will return back to the movie listing A and the cycle goes on and on. Logic fail.

Used to be a great app. Nowadays it just crashes or hangs and pops ups ads every 3 seconds. Impossible to do anything in the app. The moment you want to do something, ads will interrupt you. Its frustrating. Such a pity. This app was great for avid movie-goers like me. Uninstalled.

idea is good, if can list down all timing and movie for each cinema will be good (not click one by one) and can you guys improve on the backward function? sooo easy to quit the apps and have to restart all over again, very annoying!!

Aside from things everybody else has mentioned - limited to no movies options, awkward UI experience, there are also only about 10-15 major metropolitan cities/areas from which to choose. That in itself makes the app limiting, even if it actually had movies listed (which it did not).

If you manage to fix the bugs, i will say this apps is good. It always can't check me in and need to keep restart several times on my headphone then only can check in. When i wanna refer my friends to install this apps, the link seems invalid.

Tried booking for a pop up cinema event a few times, but the app can't proceed to payment. so i tried creating an account, but still i wasnt able to log in. then i tried to contact customer service through the app, it doesnt work as well. NOTHING works

Not compatible with "back" button on android devices. So when i hit the back button, it quits the app instead of going back to the previous page. Developers seems to be developing in iOS mindset.

This app is riddled with ads. Everytime I choose a show time, an ad shows up to apply for a credit card. I might as well just visit the cinema's site myself.

Does not allow me to select the UK as the country. For that reason I am not able to give an accurate rating on the in-app experience. Would be nice if more countries and cities were included

It's worse now with SO MANY ads with each click-thru. Cock-up navigation, took a few repeated moves to get to a cinema/movie schedule. Looking for alternative app now.

Cannot book some Golden Village movies that are available in the cinemas, they don't appear in the app but is available for purchasing tickets at the actual cinemas. This gives a false impression that GV isn't showing some movies.

I sign my account and it keeps telling me it's incorrect even tho the password itself has been copy paste from my notes. I even tried the "Forgot Password?" option and it did nothing at all. No wonder this app has 3 stars.

App shows all timing for the movie. Like ALL! and did not label if its 3D or normal until you nearly purchase the tix. It can be dissapointing if people did not realised that

If I wanted to watch a trailer, I'd have clicked on the trailer button. Please do not force a full screen trailer right after I select a movie title to view more details about said movie. Maybe consider conducting a user study group when you roll out such features.

Used to be my Go-To app to book movie tickets. Nowadays I can't even find Shaw Seletar which is the closest to my home. Ads keep popping up... haiz... it was a good app a long time ago... now its just not helpful and glitches often. 1* rating... boooooo.

Lots of bugs and problems in this app. My has a latest specifications but then also try again msg is popping up. Don't download this app worst app, wasted of your data. Lots of ads and very bad experience..

I booked the wrong day ticket because of this app... I don't exactly know how it happened, but it displayed tomorrow's date instead of today's on that incident. Some bugs somewhere.. so be sure to check and double check.

Awesome app to see all movie timings and theatres. Able to link through to purchase tickets too. Great work for a simple all-in-one movie app

Doesn't list anything currently showing and only a few things upcoming. Very slow too. In short, not usable in any way.

Updated app forces user sign up. Now, if you were honest about that, I would still give you three stars. But you offer a misleading "Skip for Now" option that loops back to the same screen. I'll use other apps till you fix this.

If we select and go inside the movie one advertisement is coming and if click on that add with close option, then it's getting exit from the app. Horrible really suckzzz

love the newly improved version of the app. really easy to use, and able to book movies from all platforms. can even book pop up movie events, and view entertainment news articles

1. Too many ads covering the WHOLE page until there is much difficulty to book a movie. 2. Still deserve 1 star because eventually I still managed to book the tickets.

Smooth app, and includes showtimes for all theatres. 👍🏻 Occasional crashes but works well most of the time (90% up rate I guess?)

Can't launch the app. Keeps crashing. Used to be a good app for movie schedules and bookings.
