Unbelievably difficult and inconsistent when trying to move amounts larger than $500. Instructions are a blend of website and app but it never differentiates. Specifically, the "to do" list is only available on the website. Does not sync well with Google. Had to change password about 8 times before able to use it consistently. Use something else if you can. I only used this because my bank recommended.

The absolute MOST frustrating financial app to use. Doesn't permit pasting the password. Use a password manager that can create a more secure password than a human ever could? Too bad! You can either painstakingly type it in manually or revert to a less secure password! Crashes every time I try to add a new debit card, and kicks me back out to the login screen. Which, when compounded by the first issue above, creates a user experience akin to being suplexed into a pit of broken glass and salt.

This is the worst money transfer app I've used. I have now spent several days trying to send someone money because they use it send me money. It takes so long for them to fix anything wrong, they have to verify your checking account for large payments which takes days and small withdrawals out if your account. The app on my phone constantly crashes after reinstalling twice now so i have to use the website. Its free to send, but I'd rather use Zelle, or anything actually. I'm so done.

Attempted to send money for the last 43 minutes (yes I timed it, unfortunately I didn't start right away. Only after my fifth attempt I started the stopwatch. The app continually crashes; it used to be a decent app…………… Now………… not that great. I switched to CHASE ZELLE Quick Pay, and I've had ZERO issues! I send the money and it is there within seconds, LITERALLY SECONDS!!

This was the most frustrating app experience I have ever had. The app requires a secure password. Good. I generate a secure password in a password app. You cannot run this app on duel app mode. You cannot cor and paste into this app. You cannot minimize this app with out it completely closing and starting you over. So I had no choice but to write down my very secure password on paper to even log in. Then, I had to get a verification code from my email to to begin the deposit process. You have to get out of the app to get to your email...... Which means that you have to start all over again with your password..... The email says " you can copy and paste this verification code so you don't have to utopia it" so I got the code.... Open the app, put in my 14 character password again, and begin the transfer..... Only to find that I cannot paste the verification code.... I gave up and will try again when I am at my computer.

I love popmoney's service, and use the online account often. This app doesn't work at all I can log into my account and see my past transfers but can't create new ones. Even tried the transfer request full in all the fields and it still pops up with an error and says "please fill out all fields before submitting". Very disappointed.

I'd give zero stars if I could. Read the online reviews and do your research on yhem before agreeing to use this service! Popmoney, and its corresponding app, is fraught with problems. A total failure. They withdraw money on one end and hold it for a week and there are a million hoops to jump through to get your deposit on the other end. Your money can easily end up in no-mans land. And good luck deactivating your account. Save the headache and use another service!

This app is a complete waste of time. It DOES . NOT. WORK. Period. Every time I have tried to add a debit card, it immediately freezes and I have to close it out and restart it, just for it to happen again. I've been patient, but I'm uninstalling it now. Never got it to work. Bogus app.

Terrible. I've had no trouble receiving money. But when I decided to send money to someone, it was a whole different story. It's been almost a week since I originally tried to send a payment to someone and it still hasn't gone through. Now my account has been frozen. I received an email asking for documentation. Then after that eventually processes through, Popmoney will decide if they are going to allow me to send money out. Called customer service and they had no idea what was going on. DONE.

After adding all information, debit card, new payee, amount to send, App keeps closing when I try adding information. This continued even after uninstalling and re-installing app. I cannot trust my money with an app that keeps crashing or whatever the hell it's doing.

Too slow. Only using cause Golden one transfer through this app. Won't make mistake again and will leave a review for golden one as well concerning their use of this app for money transfers. Hopefully they'll pick a more reputable company in the future. Google pay all the way for quick transfers, zero hassel and no fees

Completely useless. On a Samsung Note 8 and the app force closes each time I attempt to add a debit/credit to the account. Was unable to get a transaction out of it. Immediately uninstalled. There are better money transfer apps to choose, from don't use this

Won't let me send money, says it needs all the information filled out. Fill out all the info, even adding a message which shouldn't be required, and it still refuses to continue. Closed the app and opened it again and it wanted a verification code to log in, enter the code and it still won't let me log in. Closed again and now it won't accept my login at all.

You can't use the app for anything. It's awful. Crashes when trying to add a card or account. The website says "teal" does not include alphabetical or numerical characters when trying to make security questions. Just download Zelle or PayPal. Don't waste your time on this.

They have good customer service, but compared to their competitor, they take 3 DAYS to transfer money compared to less than 3 MINUTES for the competitor for the same feeless service. Also, their mobile app isn't kept up to date and doesn't work on the current version of Android.

Very crappy software- it held up my deposit process by asking me to make up new security q&a's. Then, it treated them as invalid, so I had to wait days to get the verification hold on my account lifted. There has to be better apps/services for sending and receiving funds, which also allow for the scheduling of payments.

Poorly designed. "security" questions and codes that they force you to use can either not be accepted or there is LITERALLY no where to enter them! Unbelievably frustrating. When it tells you to text "HELP" for help, it sends you a link back to the website that you can't get to a help menu from because your security questions can't be accepted at this time! All the while charging you for the texts! Avoid this app like the plague it is!

Worst app ever! Nothing but issues. First this app wont even let me sign in and tech support cant figure out why. 2nd, using website, when i verified my bank acct info and tried to send money to someone, they put a hold on it. I called and they said they'd get the hold removed in 1 to 2 business days. Checked back and the transaction was canceled and they wanted physical copies of my bank statements in order to verify the acct and allow me to send money. Apparently the 3 deposits they deposited into my acct...wasnt enough to "truly" verify my a bank acct. I wont be using this app to send money in the future.

horrible. i just installed the app and it stops working when i try to add my debit card for payments, i tried emailing support and it says the email box is full. no updates since 10/18 and it was a logo update, no system update. i dont think anyone is running this app.

Wow, I can't believe that this is supposed to be one of the best platforms to send money. My wifes credit union switch to it & my moms bank. I have google pay, zelle and this. This is the worst I have ever seen. App is worthless. You have to use web & money takes so long to transfer might as well mail it. Any company that can't make a decent app scares me. It not like you have to build one. So many templates out there. Just copy one and change some codes, certificates, features, color, wake up!

Horrible, wouldn't even accept my address, all the reviews are correct the app interface is the worst I've used in a long time and is very poorly integrated at least onto android phones. Was also never updated to fit the new Android updates so don't trust these guys

Unbelievably hard to set up, and even when its set up it takes forever for the money to transfer. I'm waiting for $40 that was sent on December 9th and it is at the time I'm typing this December 12th and I still haven't got it. If you need to give emergency money just go to the bank it's easier to physically travel than to use this app.

Terrible app and service. As others have said the app doesn't work, it will just tell you additional information is required and to login on browser to resolve, but nothing is there to resolve when logged in. Called customer service and they told me they don't offer support for the app. She said all she can suggest is to uninstall and reinstall it. That didn't work.

Complete waste of time. Tried one transaction, account was "restricted", customer service couldn't tell me why, back to PayPal for me. I would rather pay a fee and be able to complete a transfer.

Couldn't verify account. I call tech support and they say T-Mobile blocks their messages and they would call for verification. When I tried it still sent text and couldn't verify. Ended up cancelling transfer and using other app.
