This game is imo the best music sim on the play store, and I wouldn't be surprised if it stayed that way forever. I've always loved what Mdickie does with his games and this game definitely cracked the top 3 list of his best games ever. The one thing I'd like to see added to it is an option to save your created character, so that if their career prematurely ends you can still copy and paste them and try again. It never feels good wasting time on making a character that retires immediately.
This game is fun but unfairly difficult. You have to just get lucky from the songs you produce, if you even get a chance to produce one because you have to wait sometimes months just to make another song that might be 3 stars at best. Another problem is that your boss gives you challenges that if you lose YOU'RE OUT! Imo the most annoying feature since you can't improve your skills unless you perform or write a song. I'd rather liked if you could make songs or improve your skills without perm.
It's quite a bad simulation game. There's a lack of content and things to do. You don't get to choose when to make songs and the process of actually making songs is non existent apart from naming them. During performances you can't do anything to help your chances of a better outcome. It's all down to your attributes. None of which you can. actively improve. And there are lots of bugs and QOL issues. Also money is nearly useless because there's only one thing to spend it on (recruiting talent).
LOVE Your games. If you were ever interested in porting or remaking it I would Love to see Popcorn come to mobile, or just more games like this one in general. I like a lot of your games, wrestling revolution, hard time, extra lives, superhero city. But this is my all time favorite. EDIT: I noticed youtube music now appears as an option. However this option does not actually work. Is there a way you could removed it as an option so as not to get players hopes up?
This is garbage. I had a good career going but then it ends because of what. I didn't get to thing objective on time? Oh yes winning 2 award and winning 2 competitions isn't enough. I had 1 point away and I didn't get it so it deleted my WHOLE CAREER? that is the. Most retarted thing. First time playing to. Don't play if you won't to get deleted when you don't get 1 objective on time. Even off 1 point away. Also it is supposed to be realistic. It's just stupid and twerking is a instrument. Wow
I definitely don't like this game anymore. Now you have to pay to edit your character and you can't pick the instrument you want. But even before this update you wouldn't know if the song would be good, and it was kind of just based on luck if your music sounded good or not and same for when you do performances. I think for almost all mdickie games you need to pay to customize now, and doing this just ruined mdickie games in a way. But anyways popscene is boring and is not worth playing.
The game was interesting back in the good old days, but now the new music creating system is sort of trash, why we need to use a song thats in our phone (On our phone music album) to create a song that will have a random rating adjusted by the talent of our characters, Please bring the old music system back.. Its good to see our own characters creating a new song instead of using one that is in our phone :)
I wish we could release multiple singles (singles and album charts are separate, get rid of the pop up weekly chart announcement, and instead put a button in the menu for the charts, and we can scroll inside, so that we can see all the songs charting), and instead of weeks make it to days, like the game School Days because everything happens so quickly, and if we change our outfits we have to pay (add more clothing), and add some tours and concerts. And also a button in ē menu for achievements.
This is a very nice game but when is it being updated? We have made suggestions but you don't even reply we need new features like clothes which are branded and make them expensive, cars private jets, houses accessories and new places to hold concerts( make them expensive cause I have 150 million and I don't know what to do with it apart from expenses and paying my band members during contract renewal) also a list of the top ten richest artistes and record labels.
I love the game. It is really fun and enjoyable and you can play it for quite a while it is really entertaining. But you need to update how it rarely let's you make songs. I lost so much money because it wouldn't let my make a song for 2 in-game months. Other than that it really is amazing and I do recommend it. Also it would help if you had an in game tutorial because it took me quite a while to figure it out.
I've never seen more Garbage then this. Don't download. Unreasonably difficult. You can put in songs that are hits in Real Life when you link to MP3 but only for them to get 1 star. You can't improve or train like the Wrestling Revolution. You have no control over attributes and the game will constantly mock you. Like utter trash. MDickie produces fun games but this WASN'T FUN
I don't really know what to say. First, this thing of not being able to start with our own character needs to go. Second, when the owner of the music label you're in challenges you to increase a skill or release an album, you have to hope something goes well because there's no way to increase a skill without chance. Same goes for the album. I'm only giving it 2 stars because the game is part of my childhood and I'm generous.
It's my favorite game from MDickie so far! I have a suggestion though, maybe add an update where you can create multiple save files and stuff. Although I don't know if that's possible with backstage pass but if it isn't, please add more save slots.
No matter what music I make in game or upload, the game tells me its trash and i ultimately end up getting fired from the independent label. Also, you have zero control over what happens in the game. You cant control when you release songs, you cant make any adjustments to the song that would change the audience review on it. Terrible. Brutal game design. Programmed by infants, unplayable
This game has a great concept and I don't see it in another android game. I'll give it 3 stars for some reasons. 1. You always make bad rating songs. 2. I miss some things: artist genres, touring and those stuff planned by labels. 3. You are kind of forced to be a "band" player. If you're a solo musician, you're not gonna have that successfulness. Anyway, thank you.
I really enjoyed playing this game. But it'll be great to see the 3d version of it. And also, Can you make the it like some of your other games with "Map" and also player should be able to control their sim to move from place to place on the map.
It's a great game, addictive, but one thing can you add a feature that we can link to music applications instead of mp3 such as deezer or Spotify cause not a lot of people use the mp3 and also one thing on my phone I just can't link to the mp3 is it from my phone or you're working on an update? Awaiting your reply
This game is fun from the beginning trying to be the most popular artist but when your are the most popular what the is the goal. This game needs to be more realistic and the player is supposed to be able to talk to other artists and book their own rap battles and should be able to have a button to link to other players near by. I'm waiting for pop scene 2.
The game is somehow awesome but a few little things need to be fixed. Like the way the court matters are handled. The other thing is that everytime i try to get my professional licence the game always fails to do so...Kindly help! To make the game great you could update some new features in the game.🙋🙋🙋
This game is the best music sim game and very addictive in a good way. I was gonna rate 5 stars, BUT let's go to the reason why I rated 4 stars: I actually understand the entire system in this music industry game, and 2nd It's actually realistic when you compare it in real life (artists are slaves to their labels) OK so the reason why I didn't rated 5 is it could have some updated pop artists like for example: NCT, Lauv, Ava Max, BTS, Post malone, etc. Also, make the faces more attractive haha
Great game! There's a white screen bug after the 1.24 update. A few things to look at to make the game even better: Make it possible for player to have multiple songs on the weekly trending songs...and secondly, reduce the weekly expenses %.. Too high Thanks and big ups!
It's a good game! But, there are some problems, you rarely get to make songs, apart from concerts, auditions, charity events you should also add interview sessions which will make it more interesting.
Great game even though sometimes it can be humiliating lmao!! I recommend this go others it's really good, you can play your own music or the game's music and you actually get a chance to see your character sing a song from your music library! Cool right! Although I have a suggestion could u add like a world map like extra lives but no zombies and stuff please! And you can meet up with your manger and those stuff and there's a stodio just please add this! Anyways best game ty MDickie and others:)
Its a good game needs more effort because in the career life u cant choose or write a good song they offer you to choose from your real songs which are on your song playlist or they say game music so wgen you perform on stage the fans rate it maybe 2* of 5* and love it 3💗 of 5💗 well i think that is so frustrating and i think the developers should work on that.
Pretty much a good sim of the music industry. You can't record when you want, its up to the label, people make up stories about you and sue, and if you fail, no one hears from you again and you fall into obscurity. However it's a game and should be fun, not being able to record when you want kind of takes the shine off.
This game has 4 problems: 1. Band battles take forever because the cpu performance will not stop. 2. I paid $2.99 and I don't get to customize more attributes other than appearance? 3. People can claim your music and continue to win every court case. 4. The game is way too difficult. No matter how good the song is, the crowd rates it 1 star and 1 1/2 hearts.
