I played this for while, but the map got too big and the AI is really stupid. I enjoyed it, good little indie game
Good strategy game. Simple controls with the right amount of difficulty to make challenging. Played the first, now enjoying the sequel.
Fun, semi-historical Roman strategy game. Very easy interface.
Very nice game, but I want more levels.
Love this game
Your roman series games have been my most played for years until this last upgrade. Now spearmen trump praetorians, and masses of elite Brits overwhelm the understrengthed Roman legions! And the Brits grow chevrons at literally each victory whilst the romans take 3-5 to gain a single one. Not that it matters since a no chevron Brit trumps dual chevroned romans anyway. Please rebalance this once upon a time great game!
This really seems to be the continuation of part I with more levels - same units, slightly adjusted unit strength. Love it.
Love it stop playing it for while then come back to it wish maker would do more. Sad no other great games like it
Game quit saving games in progress and pike men can defeat Roman Pretorians?? AI needs tweaked. Would like a scenario builder or another campaign.
Best played game for a proper strategy in a battle in ages this and chess are my to favourite games when it comes to the mind
Immensly fun game, love it! Please make a Alexander the great version :)
Another well done app from this group. Keep it up.
Love these hexagon games although I was able to play them better a few years ago I feel it helps sharpen my mind
You need to make more!
A game I keep coming back to. Please make more of them.
Challenging and fun.
The populus Romanus games are both great fun for strategy enthusiasts, but this seems a lot shorter and a bit easier to beat. The new two hit pt troops evaporate without paying much part (a hoplite equivalent for the ai to defend cities with would make it trickier) and once beaten on hard you are left wanting more, eg play as Britannia. Nevertheless I can strongly recommend it as a fun game, only an smidgeon away from 5 stars.
Easy to play, not easy to win. Well balanced and reasonably deep but still a casual game. Highly recommended.
It's great. Lots of play and replay value. And my friend who is a history buff was impressed with the accuracy of the maps.
I enjoyed playing, but. With only 8 missions which I won 1st try on the hardest settings would have liked a little more. AI is OK but makes a lot of mistakes.
Not a whole ton new, but if you loved the first game as I did, then you'll buy this no question. Harder difficulty levels add a bit of a challenge, and force you to play more conservatively. Can't wait for more installments!
Perfect compromise between depth and playability. Highly recommended, both to wargammers and casual players.
Works great on both a Nexus 7 tablet as well as an older 2.3 phone. Enjoyable turn based strategy game. Excited to try out the multiplayer mode.
Keep these games coming. I love the scenarios, the gameplay and the era.
Really liked the game play and setting good mix of depth, strategy and playability but what really let the game down was the odds calculator because the AI had a huge unfair advantage- spearmen regularly defeat elite pretorens (on evan ground) auxiliarys wouldn't defeat a thing evan wile flanking 3 to 1 on weak foes and any odds up to 70% (in my favour) could be assumed to be a loss 90% of the time, adds challenge but frustrating lack of balence when your losing not cos of skill but unfair odds calculator
Best tactical sim on android found. But still no SOUND.
So far the best of its kind I found on android
Classic, old style wargame. Clean, well executed. No bugs. Awesome theme.
Very easy to get to grips with, with as much of a challenge as you want depending on the level you choose, and very easy to use for mobile. Would love to see more of these games develop.
