Are you tired of finding which app causes pop-up ads?
Popup Ad Detector comes to the rescue, it can detect:
1.Lock screen ads.
2.Home screen ads.
3.Ads over other apps.
4.Notification bar ads(Airpush detector).
How it works:
When you setup, you will see a floating icon on the screen.
The next time an ad pops up, it will indicate which app the ad is originated from.
Then you can easily uninstall that app so no more pop up ads anymore!
In order to make Popup Ad Detector work properly, You must:
1.Grant Accessibility access.
2.Allow displaying over other apps.
Known issues:
The floating icon might make some app not clickable. To solve this problem, you need to manually disable the floating icon, and enable it when you've finished using that app.

5000000 STARS!! I woke up one day suddenly im getting pop-up ads just swiping around my home screen. I have tried everything: uninstalled recently installed apps, scanned with anti-virus, cleared cache, various other research but to no avail. This app instantly SOLVED my problem: Pop-up shows up, i go to this app, and found right on top of the list an app with no Title. I PURGED that mofo, BOOM! ADS GONE!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
April 13th 2022. I had uninstalled this app because it was malfunctioning badly. I was forced to reinstall it when my phone became almost inoperable because of the most invasive full screen pop-up ads from Chrome, Samsung Internet and even YouTube. This app immediately identified the culprit. It was McAffee, an app that was expected to keep my phone inviolable. The culprit froze my screen when I attempted to delete it and i had to power off and go after it immediately after powering back on.
All I can say is...WOW! It really does work! For the past week, my android has been bombarded with constant pop-up ads. My phone battery drains within an hour from full charge and I can hear video advertisements playing in the background during phone calls, causing other applications to force close. I found the Popup Ad Detector and immediately after installation, the annoying popups were gone! After trying everything else in the Google Play store, I finally fixed it and I'm so grateful!
Awesome app! Really helpful to see where an ad originated from, especially when it started to happen as soon as I got on my phone no matter what I was doing. All different ads, some repeats, but the final straw for me was an ad playing in my ear while I was talking to my son from work! I had to stop some notifications from various apps, but I believe Google Play Store was the culprit. Very surprising. But no more ads without having to do a factory reset. I am grateful to your developers.
Thank you!!! Most ad blockers are browsers that only stop popups while you use them. I needed a simple app that would stop ads popping up on my phone ALL THE TIME! I couldn't even open my phone, answer calls, make calls, text, or turn off my alarm without an ad popping up in the way! I had uninstalled several suspect apps, but the problem persisted. This app tells you which app the ads are coming from! It turned out to be one I hadn't thought of. I uninstalled that #@&!, and the ads are gone!
Out of the blue multiple ads were popping up, first in a game I have played for years so I blamed that game. But then I was playing another game and it still happened. Then I started googling about why these ads kept popping up and it happened then also. Then with nothing opened, it continued to happen. Every 30 seconds or so, pop up ads on my phone. I downloaded this app, ran it and in about 2 minutes, I found the problem and deleted the bad app. All the ads stopped. Awesome app!
If my phone quits popping up ads, I'm officially amazed at it's ability to detect where they're coming from. The ad in question closed immediately which I thought was useless but when I opened the app, the one supposedly showing the ads that I didn't even have open was at the top. Great app! Updating to say that it was a photo collage making app, very disappointing.
This program really works! I had a full screen ad popping up after I would unlock my screen. I tried Norton, AVG, Avast, and many others to no avail. This program caught it within seconds of installing it. Finally got rid of that annoying full screen ad. The ad was being caused by a Bluetooth widgit I had installed a long time ago. And auto update I didn't know about added the pop-up ads. I just registered this pop-up detector because it's worth its weight in gold.
I'm usually too lazy to leave reviews but on this occasion I just had to, to say thanks to the developer. Had a very annoying full screen ad that would show up intermittently when unlocking my phone. Couldn't figure out what it was and was considering wiping my phone and starting again - until I found this app. This app found the culprit: an app called "Bluetooth Connect" or something similar, which I don't remember installing! Culprit app uninstalled. Ads gone. Job done. 5/5.
I had full screen ads popping up on my phone for months, and could never figure out where they were coming from. I deleted all suspecting apps and ran several different protection apps with no luck.I turned to google search to see if others have had the same problem as I had, and this app was recommended. It showed me, within the first 3 minutes of downloading it, the app responsible! If you are having full pop ups coming up on your phone all of the time, then this is the app for you!!!!!
This is one of the best apps i have used. Once installed it took about less than a minute for me to identify the apps that where causing the pop-ups adds etc. The free floating icon even showed a picture of the app in the icon, and asked if i wanted to uninstall it. In my case it was the Barcode scanner and the CNN app that was causing the problem, both where uninstalled. No problems since. The in app ads were small and uninstructive. I had two ad blockers installed that didn't do anything. This works. Regards
Thank you so much! This app is amazing. I have been plagued by aggravating full screen popup ads for months. Opened on their own so I couldnt determine the app causing them. Within 10 seconds of setting up Popup Ad Detector an ad appeared and the detector linked it to a photo editor that updated a few months ago. Uninstalled and ads are gone. Tried so many other apps and researching forums to try to fix this. This app made it a 10 second process. Kudos to the developer!
MUST HAVE APP! I had been receiving full screen ads which I couldn't turn off. I searched play store for an app to stop pop-ups and lurched into "Pop-Up Detector". Its magic isn't that it stops or blocks ads. Its magic is it cleverly shows you, when a pop-up appears, which app you have that is causing the pop-ups. Now, just uninstall that app and pop-ups stop. (Unless you have more than one app producing pop-ups.) Eventually all offending apps will be revealed and deleted. So Sweeeeet!
Did EXACTLY what I needed. This app correctly identified the misbehaving app that was pushing annoying random full screen ads several times daily, no matter if i was on the web browser or email, or playing a game. The misbehaving ads were not a part of the app itself (like in the free version of this app), or only appearing when the app was used. I like that this app just tells you the last app that was used. Simple. This app doesnt block ads, interfere with or slow phone functions. THANKS!
Worked perfectly! After I started getting full screen popup ads on my Note 9, no matter if I was on the home screen or in an app, I installed Popup Ad Detector. About 10 minutes later I got a popup, and the floating icon from Popup Ad Detector showed the app as an audio recorder I recently installed. I uninstalled that app and haven't seen an ad since! I love apps like this. Simple and effective. Thank you!
This app is just perfect. It actually detected the app in my phone that was causing all the popup ads as soon as the ad showed up. It shows the recent apps you are using so you can very easily point out the app that is causing popup ads by checking recently used apps in this application. The app that auto runs is the app causing all the trouble. Very simple and perfect.
It has alerted me every time that a specific application was putting pop-up ads on my phone. Please remember this application does not remove the ads. Instead, it lets you know which one of all your apps is causing the problem. You can decide if you want to delete the app, put up with the pop-ups, or try finding an effective secondary ad blocker or remover. The developer has provided a simple, free app. The developer is quick to respond to questions and is pleasant to deal with.
Effectively helped me screen which app created pop ups on my home screen and quick! I had a double-full screen ad pop up each time I unlocked my phone (double: dismissed the pop up, and a second one would open). It slowed down my productivity. Less than 24 hrs with Popup Ad Detector and voila! Culprit found!! Will keep it running. the only thing I dont like is that it stays on my notification bar. Still, its a better option that the ridiculous popup ads!!
I had full-page pop-ups, complete with loud sounds, three or four times a day. The only help I could find online told me to identify the app causing the pop-up and delete it. However, none of the instructions for how to identify the offending app actually worked. After installing this app I was able to identify the source of the pop ups, an app that I wasn't using anyway. It's gone, and so are the annoying pop-ups.
After a few days of trying to methodically uninstall apps that I thought could be causing horrible full screen pop-up ads on my phone, this app was able to find which one it was quickly and easily. My goodness, thank you, it was driving me insane. I honestly don't know if I would have found it on my own since it was an app I had paid to have the ads removed from and wouldn't have suspected as the culprit.
