Works well on my Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus. The icon changes color too unlike a few others that have this problem.
This worked 99% of the time on razr before ICS (with occasional delete/re-add), but is not working on ICS. Turns wifi off but tethering turns in and then immediately off. Phone then needs to be rebooted to turn tethering on through the menus.
I play xbox alot and I tryed this and it works. Click on the icon and then when the icon turns green search for the wifi signal. Only problem I'm experiencing now is my xbox and psp both at separate times will try to connect but it's like it's not there.
come on this thing does nothing ,except turn off your wifi other than that it's worthless .this does not turn on your hotspot on your phone unless you have a subscription with your carrier,useless .
Does what it says. Creates a 1x1 widget that toggles your devices tethering. No setup works perfectly.
When it works, it works great. Problem is it frequently crashes and requires me to delete and restart the widget. Galaxy s2
Ties to work optimus v but connects then it shut down. Stock rom phone was replaced in august they vm blocked that feature
I called at&t and ask if I could do the mobile hotspot, and the said no because I was grandfathered in. And if I wanted to have a mobile hotspot. I would have to down grade to 5gigs a month.so I browsed the app store and ran across this and its awesome it really works. Makes me excite!!!
App works great to toggle my hotspot without going into settings, but icon doesn't change. Galaxy Nexus.
I had to step down to WPA PSK in order to connect, and the icon doesn't change color. Other than that, it works flawlessly, and fast, over Verizon's 4G network. Thanks.
Its a nice app! Quiet easy to use....but after 1 or 2 days the shortcut stops working and again I need to replace the widget shortcut....This happend for the second time since I downoloaded it in tje last week. Plz fix it!
Just scans for open connection which everybody's phone shud already do.
Works great on my GNex. No issues and I've been using it for over a year. It's simple and has saved me multiple times. Reliable and fast. Just make sure that you have your phone plugged in the charger as this will eat through your battery like a rat through cheese.
It works the first time you switch it off and on and then subsequently the widget becomes unresponsive. You have to delete and replace the widget for it to work again. Very annoying.

Sometimes stop working. Running ICS , once turned on and off a few times the hotspot stops responding.

Icon is very primitive and it does not chance when toggling hotspot. Galaxy S3.
Saves time AND money! Forget paying for data I already pay for this is perfect. Be nice if the lil guys eyes would change color or something when I turn it on, besides that perfection!
On my Galaxy S II I downloaded the app and then it was no where to be found on my phone. Aggrivating.
Seem like this is the answer for the need to fast activation of WiFi hot spots. Would be 5* for the icon fix and improve. Thanks you very much for the usefully tool.
Works but doesn't give you a choice of Widgets on sprint eco or the sprint Samsung S2 epic 4g touch. Hopefully updates will get them to work.

Doesn't work for Boost Mobile. When I try to open it, it says cannot be used. Automatically shuts off all wifi connections. Lame!
Nexus 4: The widget icon looks a little out of place on the phone, but seems to work well. There is no visual indication that the hotspot is turned on. In all a bit unpolished, but it does what I need
