It reminds me of Portal 1 and 2 but it does need a way to share the custom made ones to others. Maybe a way to save a coded file to SD card so it can be E-mailed or uploaded on a site. Or a community upload/download feature in the app to look through and find new ones. That way you won't have to make new ones all the time and ppl can get new puzzles at anytime. :)
Dont remove this bug, if you have a portable wall 2 walls tall, and a non-portable one the same height next to it (leave a 1 wall wide gap between them) then place a portal there, and go up in between the walls, the non-portable pushes you through the ceiling above, it also can lead to being out of bounds...so yeah...I did use it in my custom levels...it works with cubes too. Even though its a 2D portal rip-off it somehow still got popular! 10/10!
Honostly one of the greatest games ever absolutley no lag, and level creator amazing! some suggestions make bigger create space and make the feature of posting created levels online. Even without those things still a great game
I presume the praise here is from the fans of a game, probably Portal from the company, Valve. Those fans who still think with portals to this day, use this app to satisfy their love for fast teleportation. Unfortunately, I am yet to be indoctrinated into the portal life and so this review will be bias on the presumption that this is essentially a Two-Dimensional Portal game. This means a loss of sentimental values, and becomes comparative to Portal, which was financed by companies. To start off positive, this game is like the son of the game, Portal. It has all the blocks, lasers, and buttons that's in Portal and implemented well into a two-dimensional plane. But just like a son, it still needs to grow and does not have many features Portal has. I noticed they're using all the potential given the field, but it is just not able to hold up with it's lack of everything else. To summarize, this is no real time strategy game, this is a puzzle game with portals. This may sound ambiguous to those wondering how to make a game any better given the limitations. However, I don't think there is a way, because like I said, I can see this game really trying to impress me. If there would be more features that resemble that of the game, Portal, that can stand in its own way, that would be fantastic. However, I can only believe because the game on its own as of now is just average. The music gets antiquated quickly, boxes in immovable corners gets frustrating, and it feels like there is a lack of soul put into this. So to help this game, may I suggest a rewind or an undo feature, and an augmented selection of music? But to clarify, I have yet to play the game, Portal, so I can not tell you an exact experience based review for a proper comparison. And those fans seem to genuinely enjoy this game, so if this is what works for a two-dimensional Portal game, then so be it.
Got a little bug. The orbs. If you collect more than three it keeps going off of its area, but the rest of the game is awesome. Maybe even better than Portal.
Except these. Of all the fan games out there. Many are terrible but not this one.
It's a very good game, but has a crappy game engine. When I put portal on the wall and then one under a stack of cubes... The game crashes
Loved the game, puzzles are much better to some then typical game with awesome focus of using gravity
I expected just a decent Portal clone, but this is way better than I expected. The use of a slingshot adds worlds of extra puzzle options
Im a fanatic of portal, and know that I have this, this game is really awsome. Cant wait until future packs come out. Thank you, -Louis
The levels are wonderfully made, simple design but intellectually stimulating puzzles. About as good a portal game as you can get besides the actual game
The games are still fun to play It's funny how you can like create your own stuff
Wish there were more levels, doormat that always mean you love it? Level designer works well. Haven't flipping any way to share custom levels among friends though.
Pls make the green campainion block gets vaporize by the laser and the blue thing(i forgot what was it called)and also can u make the blue thing destroy ur portal Thanks:)
It needs more levels, slow motion, better graphics and community levels (online submitted levels) PLEASE
Fun stuff. Some levels are frustrating but in a good way...
You can get stuck in corners or in 1 block high areas if your not careful. But that's why there is a reset button..
10/10 But some question's You can improve the guy animation and the Graphics a 1-Up
The game's graphics aren't impressive at all, but the game's mechanics are awesome. It's rare to find a game that actually works properly, and isn't slowed down by annoying and intrusive ads. I'd HIGHLY recommend this game to anyone that enjoys challenging puzzles.
This game is awesome but can you please add some stuff like walls you can only shoot through and gates that get rid of your portals turrets and other stuff
It's just a stupid 2D rip-off of portal ppl don't get it
you do not want to play this it is just a wast of time
Amazing game (needs pistons tho and more coular lazars and more options to play around with in the custom levels) otherwise its a great game good job!👍👌
If you're a fan of Portal by Valve, then you need to play this game! The puzzles and physics are identical. The only difference is the noticeable lack of resolution, which is easy to ignore.
Highly recommend it for a boredom buster. Although may get on ur nerves from time to time.
thank you very much for creating a portal game that is actually good! please continue to improve it! This is the beginning of a great game!
It is difficult to both figure out what to do, and then to do it. This game is not only a well though homage tho the original game, but it the gravity physic added to the portal launcher adds another layer of complexity. In it simplicity it is elegant, and its complexity is frustrating. The art lies in the level design.
