Portals of Prayer has been a favorite of generations of readers, a timeless daily source of strength and comfort since 1937. Each daily devotion includes a Bible reading, meditation and prayer to apply to your daily life.
The Portals of Prayer app is free to download. Existing digital subscribers to Portals of Prayer receive full access to the app at no extra cost. Non-subscribers have access to one free week of devotions. A subscription costs $9.99 per year and will automatically renew each year unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Account will be charged $9.99 for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period. Subscriptions may be managed by the user, and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user’s Account Settings after purchase.

Reading works great but audio doesn't function. I subscribed thinking that was the issue but it didn't help. I want to walk and listen but cannot.
As of a few days ago the play button stopped working. Will not play the audio. I can still read the content, which is still a great blessing. Thank you for all the work and effort that goes into providing this App for everyone.
This app quit working on my android phone. It freezes and will not load. Uninstalling and downloading again haven't worked.
App is not working today. I have Uninstalled and reinstalled. I have force stopped. Nothing works. The app opens but there's no content.

This app has worked fine for years. Yesterday it stopped both on my phone and on my tablet. What's happening?
Suspiciously good customer service! There was an issue with the app that I reported, I got a quick response, they ask for further details to help and then even emailed me to let me know the issue had been fixed and there was an update available a few days later. Love the app, so worth the yearly subscription. Im just amazed at the quality of the service in this day and age.

Very disappointed. My subscription has renewed, taken my money but now the app won't remember my logon, let me login or change my password. Still cant use the app. This is now ridiculous this is the second major fault I have had with the app. If the content wasn't so good I would have given up.
I have had this app for several years. I love to do my devotionals and share thru it...WHEN IT WORKS...which has been an ongoing problem for years but worse in recent weeks. CPH gives these lists of fixes that do nothing and I am past disappointed in it.

I logged in on my Android phone but it won't display a devotion. My only choice is sync data, and it does nothing. I can read it on both tablet and computer.
Wont let me subscribe i get an error message. Reinstalled twice. Had trouble with ap in past and thought id try it again. For a subscription ap it could be much better...or at least work!
March 1st. Can read devotion but no sound. Do have sound through Biblegateway Psalm.
I contacted customer service quite some time ago about not being able to read the Bible verses and Psalms. It's been at least 2 months now and still crashes every time I go to read them. It's getting very disappointing ...
Frustrating renewal at first. The auto renewal on Google play didnt work but they have applied a fix to it since 06/20 and so now I have it back after several months of non-use.
Was using for a while was very good and handy. Two days ago it stopped totally. Does not load. Had to uninstall. Too bad.
I really love this app!!! It's simple and not complicated at all. Now that I am really trying to practice add the head of my household to my wife and daughter as far as leading my family in bible studies, this app really helps to give me a great starting point. I am so glad I saw a reference to this app from someone who I follow on Twitter.
Audio button doesn't respond.
I am supremely disappointed! My renewal went through GooglePlay and now I can't sign in to the app. I contacted support and they have told me they can't find my email attached to an account. So they have my money, but I don't have the app. I don't want to use my computer for this I want to use my phone. The answers I am getting don't help me. I paid for the app, I should be able to use it.
It's a great app. It worked great when I first installed it a few months ago. I can't load it now. The welcome screen just hangs and flashes on and off
Horrible! Does not download properly, or at all! Paid my money for subscription, and was not able to get app. Terrible app, but yet they keep your money!!

Upon renewal the app stopped working. Love the devotionals but not enough to put up with this.
Works like a charm, easy read, timely messages and prayers.
App quit working on my phone and I contacted support to let them know. I received an immediate response indicating they would look into it. Within two days it was fixed! Great customer service!
