PortDroid Network Analysis

App works as advertised, with no unneeded permissions. It has an option to show manufacturer based on MAC addresses, but it doesn't seem to be implemented. The first-run welcome splash screen pops up on every launch of the app, but that may just be a quirk of my device. I would like to see some more robust features in future updates (packet capture, or saving scanned addresses to a local database.) All in all, a nice lightweight utility that doesn't invade my privacy.

Great App in every little aspect of it, sometime the reverse IP lookup tool doesn't give you back the hostname, but it's stated that it isn't very accurate but that's all what I have found off about it, except that very helpful networking tool.

I'm trying to buy your app but the playstore keeps saying i can't use my gift card outside of the united states and i live in the United States i have turned my VPN off and everything i know to do to be able to buy your app so maybe you can help with this problem cause the playstore hardly ever answer any one back please i would love to have your app. (AI)

Love it. Just one little thing, I tried to tracert an IPv6 adress and couldn't. Don't know if it was just this specific address, didn't try a different one. Otherwise, great app both functionally and visually.

I use this to check the open ports on my router. It's very handy by far the best support scanner I've used from Google Play. I also purchased the pro version, it's worth every penny. It helped me detect, trace, report and block a few intrusions.

Wifi info incorrect, dns lookup does not work, email of developper does not exists anymore. These should be signs for google to delete this app from the list. I have paid to unlock features. So how can i claim? The developper email is portdroid@etc. And did not work. I have send the adress does not exist to your android@etc email. Looking forward to your update.

cool app. lots of features in the free version. not required to upgrade to pro to use almost all features in this app. well designed and simple UI.

LAN scanner not showing all available devices in the network. Update 1: there are some devices that not responding to ICMP requests, but they are active in the LAN. Other app displays them correctly.

Edit: I'm impressed with some features and fixes I had suggested were done. I still want to give another feature, hopefully it can be possible. CDN: I'd suggest this feature to manage Looking up the names of all CDNs used on a web page or find out what CDN is behind a hostname or single URL, as well as an IP address.

A great tool, this PortDroid app. Wish It Could Explain the mysterious strings of IP addresses I found that occupy my phone's Trace Route! Some of them may Be Legit, but the vast majority of interlopers who "occupy" Both our family's CharterSpectrum Sagecom WiFi router's Trace Route and my phone's MetroPCS By T-Mobile Mobile Data Trace Route: There are a dozen or more IP addresses listed, spanning three[3] continents from St. Louis, VA, GA, & Northern CA, to Helsinki, Frankfurt, and Singapore!

In my own opinion this is one of the best scanning apps on google play. Since I've first found this app years ago, it's been downloaded on all my phones and now my chromebook.

its good apps to scan the open port but there is one doubt, after add port number in the list, the ip address should be added also, so no need everytime to write the same ip address to do the scan.

PortDroid is the coolest cyberdetails app that I have ever discovered. I Love It! When Traceroute results are then strategically embedded, if you will, in my patented "microscreenshotz" gallery along with all my intercepted, interfered with, summarily deleted, left undelivered, my feedbacks, emails, and other docuements that then become the most bizzare desktop publishing project in recorded cyberhistory: If successful, PortDroid will expose the cybertyrantz and cyberthugz! All in all good soild app. Only problem so far is the "port list " won't open. ???

Great application , though it misses a tcping port checker tool also in the pro version. ( bought especially cuz I thought the pro will have this feature. Hopefully they will add it)

edit: looks like it can scan fine without root. Thought you needed root to scan ports effectively (if using nmap in Termux is any indication)?

Looks like a decent product, but the multi-IP port scanner is not free, which wasn't apparent until I tested the app.

Great app for network/port scanning. Has most the tools you need to diagnose network connectivity or to see the devices on your network. Highly recommended.

Really quick and useful network scanner with many other useful features! Comes in handy if you work with networks.

Multi port scanner not fully functional. Developer is very active in bug responses. Edit: Multi port scanner now works.

Dont fully understand ports and how to use the app to make my phone more secure, however it seems all of its functions work very well. Just wish it was a little more noob friendly.. -_- excellent app tho..!!

unsure WHAT to write... BUT, does tell me of ports open, WOULD YOU MAYBE LIKE TO INCLUDE A "directory" FOR INDEXES "MOST REPUTED/REPUTABLE" that you'd personally recommed for referencing or cross-examining of WHAT THE SPECIFIC FUNCTIONAL or RANGE or SCOPE of reasoning why that PORTS or why THOSE PORTS may be up/running (USED) at either the same time or maybe the APPLICABILITIES of THAT PORT and why it may be used when NO OTHER PORTS are being used also WHAT DOES IT MEAN WHEN A PORT IS "CLOSED"

Its nice, and does what I need it to. Its very fast. Almost like it preemtivly scanned.. I would like to see how it works.

Impressive app beginner friendly, most of it is automated, essentially grants you the powerto become the admin over networks of lesser IT inclined hosts.
