This app used to work really well. Then I stopped being able to look up bus times by line which was often inconvenient, but I could still use the app to see the times for my saved bus lines. Lately it usually just freezes as soon as I open it, which seems to be the case with other users as well. I haven't installed it in hopes it would be fixed soon, but instead it's getting worse and worse.
Since the recent update, I am finding that it takes a while for my favorites to load and it's not very user friendly. I miss being able to punch in stop ID to pull up the times and I am not seeing this option available. I also liked seeing where the buses were on the map and it doesn't look like that feature is available anymore. I'm going to look for a different app
"Lines" haven't worked for weeks. This app is mostly good and used to work great. It was the best TriMet app I had. I liked the ease of looking up nearby stops and the overall look of the UI. However, like other reviewers have said, there no longer seems to be any updates or support...
The older version was so much better, this one has UI problems. For one: when I go to search a stop by it's number, (tapping the thing up top) I get a full qwerty keyboard, which is useless, as I'm only putting in a stop number. Even if i do actually enter numbers with the text keyboard, the app is never able to find the stop. There's other problems too. Mr Villa: if you got a job or something and can't put in the hours, that's cool, open source this app, or hire some folks :)
Great for checking regular stops you've saved. Finding nearby stops is a total pain; it takes you to a map covered in icons and you have to zoom in just to differentiate between them, and then if there a lot of different stops/lines (like Portland's transit mall) and you don't know where your stop is, it's a hunt-and-peck game to find the right one. If it handled nearby stops like the Transit app, but was more reliable, it would be nearly perfect. User photos are a horrible feature that needs to be removed.
This app was solid and then just stopped working. Nothing shows up on screen unless it's already a favorite. Real shame. It was good while it lasted.
Easy to not only use, but personalize as well. I've tried a few tracker apps for trimet, this one is the best.
Really beautiful App! But needs some work. Force closes when pressing the map button while looking at a particular line, won't let me save favorites sometimes while letting me other honest (maybe it doesn't like stops with more than one servicing the?), but so far I like it. We'll see what happens if these bugs don't get fixed.
Been four days since I've been able to see the list of lines. It only shows what I've previously favorited or the exact line # if I type it in.
It was my favorite app until the lines stopped showing, now its really usless. Very disappointed.
No support for years and features keep slowly breaking. Can't even log in right now, and not confident that'll change. Guess I'll go back to the boring, inconvenient app everyone else uses that at least works.
Works wonderfully. Much better than texting the bus or checking the website. One issue that should be fixed (if possible): It doesn't differentiate between normal buses and 'drop off only' buses.
Gone from 5 to 2. The streetcar lines are now at the bottom. My world is close to confluences of the MAX and the Streetcar. It is not a matter of 'favorite' stops, but where the cars are. Having to scroll all the way thru the routes? Would like to favorite routes. This is cumbersome.
App does not display lines anymore. Also times are very inaccurate and jump around on a lot. I'm not sure where they get the information from but this app just becomes more inaccurate with time.
The lines sections does not shown anymore and that is a very vital part of the app I use.
The original app was functional but a bit clunky. The new version is nicely polished and I love the merging of the lines for each stop. The map search for stops and stop IDs is very useful. Keep up the good work!
No longer shows list of lines. Used to be the best transit tracker app, now almost useless
He removed the reminder that let you know before the bus arrives, and replaced it with a reminder like an alarm that doesn't work.
I have used this program for years with minimal problems. When the "I'm with Trump" banners started, it was time to say goodbye. NO app should contain political banners, especially when they could be seen by others, giving them the impression that you support that candidate too.
Seems to be broken, with only limited functionality, over the last few Android updates. Pity. Used to work so well.
Great interface and so far pretty accurate with the times. One improvement you should make is the ability to sort favorites. I don't like having to scroll down to find the busses I use the most.
This has been a great app, but recently I have been unable to search the 'Lines' tab, all I get is a white screen. Please fix this. I use this daily.
I wish it displayed the scheduled times. Also, a legend would be nice. Sometimes the times are in different colors or they have symbols, but nothing tells you why or what they mean.
It looks well organized, but doesn't appear to load any schedule data.
Why am I unable to add bus stops new bus stops most of the time? It has been taking four or more times trying for a bus stop to get entered these days, if it happens at all! Otherwise I love the app
Best way to live-track your PDX adventure via pub-transit!
This app was the bee's knees when it was first released last summer, I would have definitely paid money for it. Now, the route info screen freezes up and doesn't display rider alerts, the A-B Streetcar loops aren't even listed correctly, and the developer has been MIA for months. Go use the Transit app instead, at least until there's a major update.
