Poshmark - Buy & Sell Fashion

It's an ok app to sell on. The only prob are the high fees(20% selling fee, processing fee, depositing fee). That is a good portion of any profit you might receive. Even when you want to deposit your balance, there is still a charge so don't expect what is deposited into your account to reflect the actual amount you chose. Depositing fee and processing fee should be included in the selling fee. As a seller, it isn't great at all!!!! I don't see how this app has such a high rating!

Sellers can not respond to messages and take as long as they want to ship, which in my experience has been weeks or not at all, because there's no consequence for them (no buyer-seller rating system). This is a big pain when you need an item for an event, then have to scramble at the last minute to find another option from somewhere else (has happened to me on two different occasions now). Flat-rate shipping is expensive; there should be different options available at different price points.

This app freezes frequently, sometimes forcing an uninstall/reinstall to unfreeze it. On Android, the video function only works about 25% of the time ('oops, that function doesn't work, try again later' when trying to video a product - super frustrating as I have to redo the video part - waste of time) and also doest play the videos - just a black screen. Only fix is uninstall/reinstall. I've never had to go so far as uninstalling an app just so basic functions work.

I wish it was easier to bundle items. They don't have a private communication avenue between the buyer and seller before the purchase for negotiation purposes. Only after the purchase do they offer this private text. I hate the closet sharing! I think Poshmark should eliminate the "sharing your closet" feature. They should just have a search engine to find items with keywords.

Would be even better if the shipping costs weren't so high. As a small to medium seller, you often have to underprice your item (even if it's a brand new, coveted brand) because buyers don't want to pay for high shipping costs on top of the cost of the item. I agree with them - paying more for shipping than the final price of the item is absurd. Plus there's other fees involved.

Terrible I try listing and it kicks me out and I have to start over all my hard work goes out the window all the time. Yes if you are a buyer it's a great app but for sellers I have lost countless hours and money lost because of the app crashing or pictures upload and the disappear it's so frustrating.

App was working great until the last update now it wont allow me to like items or even except offers I have. Also shipping cost is rediculous $13.50 per transaction. Even if its only one item from different sellers it adds up really fast. Something small that would fit letter mail shouldn't cost that much on top of the list price.

I love poshmark! I've been able to make money off of my gently used clothing, toys, shoes, etc.. and It's just so easy to find whatever it is you are looking for. And the notifications let you be updated on any liked items or saved items you may have whether it got discounted down more or if it was sold, I like that when searching it brings up only what I've filtered also. You have to be careful though, because it's addicting!

The PM app is usually pretty on point, with very little issue, but I have hit a wonky glitch the last few days with loading. Hard to explain, but anytime I go to click on a listing - any listing - it goes to the "loading.." screen and stays there - and then the back arrow doesn't respond so I have to middle (home) button out of the app and then go back and when I get back - it's (usually) finally, miraculously, loaded the item.

The application is smart and easy to use, but there are few problems. Only "New with Tags" condition is filterable; which translates to: I have tried it, got bored with it, and reattached the tag with a knot!There should be additional filters, like "new without tags" and "used". Users are, unfortunately, not trustworthy, and the app gives shoppers a short time-window to accept the order. If, for some reason, the shopper could not inspect the order just after receipt, all rights are forfeited!

I heard about this from a friend and thought it would be a small hobby. Boy was I wrong! This is a little like having a part time job, but it's so much fun! I had so many items that were new or used once. I really wanted others to share the same wonderful experiences/compliments I had with my unique closet. I'm constantly getting notifications and have to respond immediatly or they'd add up all day. Every time I had a notification for a sale, it always makes me happy. 😀

They take 20%, change things constantly that hurt sellers, the search engine doesn't really work. You'll look up a specific item and it won't even pop up. Also I've read that the owners of this app are in a lot of legal trouble for stealing money, (even app users). But, you can still make money and find good deals if your lucky. Otherwise it's a headache.

Would give 5 stars but I always have a problem with the filtering. Especially the size filter. When you are looking through a huge closet it would be so much easier if it filtered the right way. I end up seeing items that I missed by the filter.

Get ready for a million notifications and emails. They are relentless with sending push notifications about everything that I don't care about and send constant emails. This alone makes the app a 1 star. Once you use this app, you'll never have peace again on your phone until you turn off every notification. Edit - thank you developer, but I've done that multiple times and just got another email five minutes ago lol.

I save photos to the cloud so that they don't take space on phone, so adding photos is a pain. I also use the app on my Chromebook so also a pain cause I had to download the app instead of the browser, because it would consistantly tell me something went wrong and to try agin later. Went on for days, till I relized we can post with the app. My computer is up to date with all update, we just can't post to Poshmark on our browser. Question why followers? I have more than 2ks. but still no sales.

Bad for buyers and sellers. Having been om both sides of the coin, I can tell you this app costs a lot more for sellers than buyers may be aware of, not to mention the headache it is to get straight forward answers for anything. The idea is fantastic, and for those who have success and no issues, great.

Poshmark is an awesome service but their user interface, both on web and app, is trash. Easy enough to list items for sale, but the search function is particularly bad. Little quirks all over. Lots of untapped potential here.

The fees Poshmark charges are way too high. A $25 offer on an item turns into minimum $40 automatically due to outrageous shipping costs, AND the fact they tack taxes on too! You'd think with the volume they do, they'd be able to negotiate better rates with some discounted shipper in Canada, rather than forcing customers to pay full Canada Post rates. It's a good platform with a large market, just way too expensive. You also lose more than Poshmark claims when selling due to taxes. Terrible.

Poshmark has a scammer problem because of their return policy. The scam is as follows, you will place an order for a certain size on their app. The seller will label a random sized item the size you ordered. After you receive it, it doesn't fit so you talk to the seller but Poshmark doesn't take returns whenever items don't fit. So even though it was purposefully mislabeled the seller tries to deny you a refund. I submitted a support ticket and I'll see what Poshmark says and update this.

Not a to go app. Can't rotate photos, the cropping photos is not helpful, sellers tend to not ship orders and buyers don't get to rate them or post feedback so others know. Is just not the app to go to. It can be your last option.

Sucked . I tried to log in by using Google and said that account already exists. I don't remember my password and it's more BS than I'm in the mood to deal with at the moment. Much easier to delete and buy from some where else. The path of least resistance . I was logged in and bought shoes on this site earlier today. It went smooth or I would not have bought them. Idk what changed in the past few hours .....truthfully I really don't care

Always nice to sell and buy on this platform. To buy, searching sometimes might be not showing the accurate results for the item I am looking for. Need time to search and/or change keywords. To sell, shipping is easy no need option to be selected. Seller- friendly platform and easy for beginner seller. However, fee is a little high but worth the time and money investment for seller if serious selling on this platform. App is working properly. Barely had problem with the app.

I enjoy the app. Very easy to use. Only down fall is the fees an shipping cost.. I dislike how I have to charge higher price just to make a profit.. the fees are alittle too much. I would have to charge someone $9 just to get a $6 profit.. also the shipping fee should be around $5 or make a option where we can add a the weight of the item, so that it calculate a estimate shipping cost. I would have a small item that weights less then 2LB an getting charge $7 for shipping......
