Five stars for content, three for the app. I purchased a yearly at a significant discount, but the app fails to remember me whenever I log in; every day, I have to go to settings and have the option to log out displayed (so it "remembers" that I am still logged in), before I can read an article. Not as annoyed as some folks, but having to back out of a breaking news story from a push notification does get old after a while. Won't renew until this is resolved

Not too bad but it's the only app I have that requires me to log in every two or three days. This is an app on my phone, not a link to their website. Get it together P&C! Enter the 21st century!

Uh........... I don't see where some people are saying you have to pay for it at. I downloaded the app and I'm able to open & read the stories just fine🤷‍♀️

Great local newspaper. Charleston is lucky to have this level of quality journalism.

If they would get my gmail acct right i would be happy but every time i put it in it says not correct i have had it for years

Nothing opens and text size is unreadable 4 pt size

Faster loading would help, the news is great.

I'm not paying 10 bucks a month to read the same news that I can find free elsewhere.

This is more of a table of contents for the website than an app that provides any value. The search doesn't even work. Might as well just go to the website and subscribe to get past the pay wall.

What happens is on the app right away. I enjoy the human interest stories, they are well written and in depth.

Printed news in an enjoyable format. It's the best thing to consume with my morning coffee.

Have read P&C for years now the app keeps me up to date when out of town too

I thought this was free, but it isn't. I can get my news elsewhere, for nothing.

It's finally free again!

This version has a much nicer user interface than previous version. However, it fails often on Samsung Galaxy S2. It starts up with a blank screen and the only solution I have foun is to uninstall and reinstall the app. I will rate it higher when this problem is fixed. I also run this app on an S4 with no problem.

Wants me to choose edition, but there are no choices. Then it closes when you back out. Using Samsung S5 Android 4.4.4 sprint

New version fails on lg phone. Will not go past a choose edition screen

No longer loads. Worked fine in the past, then started asking for version, but no choice or place to input answer, now simply fails to load.
