Post Dispatch E-Edition

There are nice navigation features in the newspaper view. For example, if you tap on "see A5," the app will quickly take you to the rest of the story on page A5. Some days this feature does not work for some reason. The text view option could be improved. I think the text view actually works and looks better on the web browser version of the e-reader. Overall, I enjoy using this app and prefer it to reading articles on the stltoday website.

I do like getting the paper this way but it stops working 5 or 6 times during each use. It restarts but it gets annoying. Also, a single tap on the screen brings up a list of pages on the bottom of the screen but that experience keeps changing. Sometimes it is section titles, sometimes each page number. But when you tap on a page number it just visually shows a range of pages with that page amoung them so you have to fgure out which page it is.

Can be a little challenging to use at times and overly responsive to touch. Sometimes, there are just numbers at page bottom, and other times words describing sections, with no rhyme or reason. But, overall, it works and vets the job done.

Overall I like it but am frustrated that I can't get it on my tablet in addition to my phone as it would be much easier to view in the tablet. Also get frustrated that the story continuation links work less than half the time.

Works great once the paper is downloaded. Randomly won't download or will try to download back issues. If it runs into an issue while downloading there is no way to clear the "Downloading" notification.

Some days the print has a lot of numbers on top of the print. The headline is not outlined and I am unable to see the article in whole. This is unacceptable. It happens at least 3 times a week. What's up with that? Please fix it. Thank you.

looks just like the regular paper. there are some glitches occasionally and I really miss the ads. i really don't understand why they can't include the ads

The most recent update has finally fixed the problem with the app constantly "stopping". However, the new user interface is a bit confusing at first.

Don't bother. According the the help department "the news app (android/ios) are not really meant for subscribers at this time, it’s main function is for users of the site to get alerts on their phone for breaking news."

Irratic,features do not function correctly. Better than delivery issues with paper edition.

Edit 030322 - Geat app. A glitch this morning and does not load completely. The IT folks responsible for this app do an awesome job.

When it works if it's great, but there is no way to re-download a edition if the first download does not work. D

great access to STL news in easy to read format. hangs up some times though.

Sharing articles directly from the app cumbersome. Pressreader sharing requires subscriptions by recipients.

Love the digital version...no more paper everywhere an it has the same look on my tablet.

Lack of knowledge with tech support. Very disappointing.

"Couldn't establish a connection to the network," although other apps do all the time.

Difficult to open. States that download is complete when it is not.

Repeat issues with daily downloads suddenly stopping even though subscription is paid.

Once you figure out the correct places to click it's easy to navigate.

Great app, I use it every day and it makes for easy reading.

When it works it's fine but good luck getting it to work
